I honestly find it ridiculous that the comic wants us to believe that The Shadow spent the better part of a century trying to kill The Stag and yet he never figured it out that it was multiple people.
Especially considering that not only did he spent a great portion of his career destroying cults and organizations and refuting the supernatural, but Walter Gibson's skills at exposing frauds and figuring out magic tricks are what got him the job of writing The Shadow in the first place.

But whatever.
