I feel bad that they very rarely seem to have very imaginative writers.

that is true.I think they have some decent original ideas, but they go back to safest tropes and stories.

>Vampire
>Werewolf
>Frankenstein's monster
>Mummy
>Hippy
All the classics.

One of those things is not like the others.

Oh, a boyfriend for Winnie from HT.

The werewolve is just a handpuppet?
Or that the old man isnt a monster but just a magician that wants to help the curssed family.

Kinda curious if and how they will handle his other novels if this movie becomes successfull. They are generally rather fun, but aimed at single women in thier 20's and it really shows.

Also, curious if WB Germany will get an own Animation division after this.

So is there porn of the mom yet or what?

Stop. Aping. Disney.

I'm hyped.

This

I rather enjoy how much non-us properties can get away with.

They don't have money so they try to make the movies as commercial as possible because they know they can't have all the visual, music and big stars the american movies have.
So, usually, the results are lame toy commercials where they try to imitate Dreamworks, Dinsey and Pixar, and from time to time Sony.

What does Sup Forums think of Zombillenium?

looking forward for this

there are rare exceptions.

Well the movie in OP has some German stars doing voices, just not Hollywood stars.
OP's movie is also based on a novel.

Looks trashy but I'm still going to watch it because the mom is pretty good.

They are usually just not as good as the major US company movies.

They tend to be slightly worse aesthetically and storytelling to even Sony and Illumination movies.

They seem to have the biggest problem making characters look good, or at least fun. Way too often the characters will look hideous or uncanny valley.

That's just an Old Honeylemon.

But Disney is obviously doing something right. And when people want to get in on their action they have to at least imitate the winning formula.

So is this basically Munsters?

Meh, just stick to 2D.

They gotta stop trying to be "transatlantic" and embrace their own cultures, like 2D film aren't afraid to do. You can only trick people into thinking your film is American for so long.
