Sup Forums doesn't have an opinion. Sup Forums has a handful of sweaty jackasses with opinions, and then a shit ton of even sweatier jackasses who just want to be contrarians.

Racial messages dont work with actual animals and species.

having varied skin pigmentation is not the same as "some people can fly and some people are 300lb Killing machines "

Judy was pretty cute but I completely roll my eyes at all the Judy x Nick trash floating the internet .

I liked the part where the fun cartoon animal story turned out to be a thinly-veiled allegory for racial tensions in 2010s America.

Oscar bai--I mean, thought provoking fun!

Here's a question.

Who were the whites in Zootopia?

Second most overrated animated film of all time after Frozen

I like Stefan Molyneux's review of the film. It is an interesting and colorful children's movie, but it is also rich with not-so-subtle agenda.

The herbivores.

I saw the movie while being really upset about a dead end job and my inability to land a new one. I found the "You CAN follow your dreams but it's shittier than anyone tells you but please, please try" message far more important than the racial one

The bunny and fox were cute.

Why were all the mammals barefoot though? Were they trying to give all the kids who watched it a paw fetish?

More like Shittopia!

>baby don't hurt me

The scenes in Little Rodentia would have been a lot different if they were.

I want that fox to fug that bunny

_ ____ __ ____ ____ ______!

If I was in that universe I would go on a sexual spree and fuck every single person in that city.

Jewish propaganda. Fuck multiculturalism.

They can't make it too obvious.

But really, paws and micro are the best fetishes and are even better when combined.

What happened to all the reptiles and fish? If an otter eats a fish, is it like a guy eating a Neanderthal?

>What is Sup Forums's opinion of Zootopia?
are you kidding ?
dont you saw all the porn thats out since the movie aired ?
where do you live ? Narnia ?

you might be onto something

>Everyone's a disgusting furry

Putting the taming collars would have been a great idea since it makes sense for animals to have them. I guess including them would have completely fucked all racial implications in the film since it would basically say that nature has to be controlled.

5/10

shame they didn't go with this idea, they put alot of work into it.

>t. faggot who never even saw the movie

I love it, best animated film last year

It wouldn't have been as good. On a side note, why is there always someone posting earlier versions of any given disney movie with the lament of "it would've been better if..." Pic related.

dont forget the brainless who have no opinion but just want to fuck the slightly pretty looking female character.

I thought it was fantastic. Thought the way they explained racism to kids and why it's harmful was great and intuitive. My only issue was the pacing was too fast. It seemed like Judy and Nick were jumping from scene to scene in an instant. Maybe more of them could have been a minute longer?

The taming collars thing made the setting too cruel and the world and inhabitants too unlikeable. The movie is much better off for dumping the idea when the test audience turned it down.

He is right. It is OK to fear a fucking lion, specially if you are their prey. Racial implications don't work with animals because animals do have reasons to fear each other that are based on instincts and nature. Saying that a rabbit is being racist against a tiger because they want to protect their cubs from them isn't racist is nature.

because earlier versions are cooler, they arent polished to cater to mass audiences.

If the porn justifies the means then positive.

>I'm cool because I don't like popular things
Just like all the other cool kids who don't like popular things.

>The movie is much better off for dumping the idea when the test audience turned it down.

you know, it wasn't the test audience who finally convinced them to drop this depressing idea.

No, but automatically assuming that a lion is out to get you, in a civilized society, IS racist.

Who, then? The executives? The writers?

...

It really wasn't that amazing. It was a nice flick, but that's only thanks to the giant fucking budget.

What particularly dissappointed me though, was the songs. THEY FUCKIN SUCKED. Disney movies ALWAYS has to have the music on point. I thought 'Shakira? yeah they can't go wrong with this' but look at that. Turned out shit.

7/10

Here is the kicker, they are both biologically different, they are different species. Racism as a human idea only works because we aren't different from each other that much (there are physical differences but we are all humans), we are the same species. When trying to fit in human racism in a fictional world with humanoid animals, it should have been handle differently no prey vs hunter, because the physical differences and nature alone would make it ok to be "racist".

>t. another faggot who didn't watch the movie, or is conveniently forgetting things and coming up with a separate allegory separate from what the movie portrayed

Pay attention to the dialogue instead of just watching the pretty animals prance around. It's not as simple of a "pred and prey" thing as you're making it out to be.

civilized
society

what part of that don't you understand

predators are not "hunters" anymore, and they haven't been for centuries, the movie explicitly states that

Again they aren't the same species which is why the racism in the movie isn't unjustifiable.

>I REFUSE to get the point and therefore the movie is wrong

It successfully generated all the fanart from Japan.

japan eats up disney like no one else

surprisingly, this movie was the bomb in china for some reason

The movie presents itself in an ideal scenario, what I am saying is that racial implications don't work because they protagonist of the movie are rational beings that use their rational to see the differences between species and form a logical conclusion.

If the point of the movie would be nature vs nurture then the movie would make more sense but their point isn't that but racial implications in 2010's America. As such it makes 0 sense.

>Stepping directly on the dick
What the fuck

I want the bunny to succ my wien

So were we supposed to see the predators as blackies?
Cause I only saw the evil predatory whitey in their allegory.

that was their initial plan

I just find it funny how people don't realize the racism metaphors were used because they translated easily, and not to make some kind of grand political statement.

>The flower who can literally turn anyone into a savage beast can be easily purchased at the grocery store
>Its effects aren't widely acknowledged

>what are metaphors
>what is allegory
>what is subtlety

Judy is a corrupt scumbag, dirty cop.

This movie raised some big questions.

I just wanted an excuse to post this, because it made me chuckle the first time I saw it

Whats to prevent the giant powerful herbivores from wrecking shit though?

what did you expected from a story made within short 7 months?

...

I enjoyed it. But I like the whole Disney-anthropomorphic-animals thing and I feel like it's been a long time since they gave us anything new in that department.

I want to fuck that bunny.

nothing, prey was privileged in that story.
and the one after as well.

I really liked it. Making a movie about racism one where it is up to interpretation which species are meant to be seen as which race is a great idea, it can be seen in a few different ways and that different people interpret it differently is almost a commentary in itself on how ethereal racial beliefs and tensions can be. I remember that many people saw predators as being black and prey being white because the majority of the population; prey, were afraid of the minority of predators. And then I read the discussions here and saw that a prevailing interpretation is that the movie is about white genocide because predators were seen as superior to prey in every way and were being oppressed for it. And then there are people who come to their conclusions not by looking at the film as a whole but with just one specific scene, like thinking sheep must be black people because of that hair joke. It's really interesting.

Also it looks really nice. You can tell there was a ton of effort and time poured into those effects and it really works. That you can see individual strands of fur is absolutely amazing, and furthermore I don't know if it is even possible for there to be a better balance between cartoonish and realistic, it's almost like an inverse of the uncanny valley, if that applies to animals. Even when computer animation improves in the future, I think that design-wise Zootopia's character designs are ideal and I hope that similar future films learn from it.

But pretty animations would mean little without design, and this film's designs are creative in places similar movies just ignore. I love how the city is designed to be accessible for different animals, and how Judy's earbuds actually go in her ears, and the aerial shots showing more of the city are just amazing. But the most stunning visual is Judy Hopps, the perfect balance of fit and thick resulting in thighs without equal. Also a racist cop being a Disney protagonist was pretty funny.

i'm hoping for a sequel, this world is too good to be visited just once.

Except the herbivores were also discriminated against. Judy's "You can't call me cute, a rabbit can call another rabbit cute, but you're not a rabbit. You can't call me that" lines indicated that they have their own social hang-ups, just like everyone else. The fact that Nick wanted to touch Bellwether's wool - which mirrors dumbasses who want to touch black people's hair... Everyone was racist to and from everyone in that goddamn city.
There was no "omnivore privilege" nobody was purely victim, nobody was innocent.

Except the Predators had all the power in the beginning. The mayor was a Pred, most of the police were Preds.

>all those joints
where's the lewdposing

>ants.jpg

The movie we got was better, and in computer animation, they really didn't waste much of anything: you can see repurposed assets all over the film, the carnival in Bunnyburrow pulled games from Wild Times.

Rapunzel as a womanlet, or Flynn as a colossus?

I found a small version here, thanks for the larger one.

Punzie didn't change, Bastion was a beast. In some ways I can see where this is appealing, but Bastion looks too much like a big dumb guy to me. They clearly went with his archetype in Frozen with Kristoff.

shame about th artists, all these depressing images of persecuted nick and his friends

>wilde times
i wonder how they are going to bring it back.

...

I want to fuck Judy, Nick, Bogo, mayor Lionheart and everybody in ZPD.

>You can't call me cute, a rabbit can call another rabbit cute, but you're not a rabbit. You can't call me that
That's bullshit, how am I supposed to pick up on a cute bunny grill

I think Judy is just being a prude

>preaching that animals are supposed to be treat each other same despite always commenting on size, biological, and behavioral differences every other minute
>newly graduated police officer thinks she's entitled to be working on important kidnapping cases immediately
>the main promotional song is utterly terrible

>fighting
>conning
>explaining
>throws her over his shoulder and leaves
I laughed.

Secretly,Nicks a pain freak.

>>newly graduated police officer thinks she's entitled to be working on important kidnapping cases immediately

This is what turned me off. What kind of cunt thinks she deserves to handle something so important when she just got here? Handing out parking tickets isn't some discriminatory punishment, its just a low-ranking necessity that can be carried out by new recruits.

Once Judy arrived in the city, she became obnoxious.

>low-ranking necessity that can be carried out by new recruits
Not really. Metering is a separate function from policing. In a not crazy world she'd be partnered with someone else to learn the ropes

judy didnt apply to for parking duty.

...

it's nice, i like it

>Holy shit! A giant mouse!

You know, one of my mates openly talked about the porn of this while in the theater on the night of release.

In front of presumably horrified parents and their kids.

That was for the longest time all I knew about zootopia

...

I thought the movie was p mediocre but i liked the city design a lot.

What would other anthropomorphic Disney characters think about Zootopia characters' blatant racism?

>thropomorphic Disney characters think about Zootopia characters' blatant racism?

The only good thing about this talkie moving picture was the animation quality.

agreed.
