why did these 2 grown adults have to keep it a secret at first?
Why did these 2 grown adults have to keep it a secret at first?
They didn't want to mess up the dynamic of the group.
for risky frisky, duh
What show is this?
Ross, the biggest Friend, can actually just eat the rest of the group, hence the fear in chandler's solar plexus
Because people don't like their sisters getting fucked.
MY BEST FRIEND
AND
MY
SISTER
MY CHANDWICH!
they thought it was just a fling at first and didnt want to put pressure on the rest of the group (like ross and rachel often did) if they broke up and shit
aftewards they were just waiting for the right moment/being pussies because ross might murder them
For the sake of the situation comedy
Will they or want they.
I know they won't and I don't want them to.
The One With the Yeti is on right now, and fuck me I hate Ross in this one
>marries a woman after like, 2 months
>fucks up and says Rachel instead of Emily at the altar
>literally bends over and takes it 3 feet deep to get her back
>moves across town, sells all his shit, cuts out his friends
>they tell him they don't like it
>TOUGH GROW UP THIS IS WHAT ADULTS DO
>they all cave
fuck this, fuck Ross, fuck I'm mad
Based Joey comes in and saves the day eventually
So we could get the GOAT Friends moment where Chandler and Phoebe try to seduce each other.
>I'm very happy we're gonna have all the sex
They were afraid of Red Ross.
t. socially adjusted user
what the fuck OP, is not rocket science
Rachel > Monica > Joey > Chandler >> Ross >>> Phoebe
Sandwich Ross would fuck him up

before social media, young adults would routinely gather at a specified place with their "tribe" or "clique" whenever possible to socialize in person. although outsiders were generally welcome, a core group inevitably developed. disruption to the core group could be traumatic, and nothing fractured the core like a hookup/breakup in which sides must be taken.
although lasting marriages formed through these groups (2 marriages from my own), relationship drama/cheating/breakups often mark the singular event dispersing the core. hookups or early stages of a relationship were often kept confident as not to disrupt the social cohesion of the core as the core was the primary outlet of socialization for young adults pre-social media.
this of course applies only to upper middle class east coast young adults. i have no insight as to the behavior of savages.
