>Six-Issue Miniseries Debuts with Two Issues in December

>BURBANK, CA and SAN DIEGO, CA – (September 13, 2017) – Gotham’s Dark Knight joins forces with New York’s Heroes in A Half-Shell this December as DC Entertainment and IDW Publishing today announced plans for BATMAN/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES II, a six-issue follow up to the smash-hit crossover series of 2015. Writer James Tynion IV (BATMAN, DETECTIVE COMICS) and artist Freddie Williams II (HE-MAN/THUNDERCATS) will reunite for this second meeting of two icons of pop culture.

>“What DC and IDW started with Batman/TMNT in 2015 continues to spark interest with fans of these characters that have worldwide recognition,” said DC SVP Editorial Strategy & Administration, Hank Kanalz. “We can't wait to see what James and Freddie deliver this time around.”

Awesome

>When Donatello goes looking for a new mentor to help him improve his fighting skills, he opens a doorway to another reality, hoping to summon the Turtles’ one-time ally, Batman. But instead, he gets sent to Gotham City and someone else comes through the open portal —Bane! Suddenly, there’s a new gang boss in New York and he’s out to unite all the other bad guys under him. Can Donnie get back in time and bring Batman with him to help his brothers before Bane causes irreparable destruction?

Why would Batman allow his boy sidekick to use a lethal weapon? He hates guns but not swords?

>As an added bonus for fans, the first two issues will release in December before going monthly. Issue #1 hits comics retailers and digital outlets on December 6, with issue #2 following two weeks later on December 20.

>“The original crossover between Batman and the Turtles was met with such positive enthusiasm from the fans, that it was only a matter of time before their paths crossed again,” said IDW President and COO, Greg Goldstein. “Fans have themselves to thank for making this a reality, yet again, and we’re confident that we can deliver the goods to meet their expectations with our talented creative team returning for round two.”

>In addition to covers by Williams II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman will illustrate variant covers for the series

I hope this story is in tmnt new york, also I just really want them to release the deluxe edition like they did with tmnt ghostbusters which was just fun reading the commentary of

>Bane's Cartel vs Shredder and the Foot Clan
I love this idea

>Can Donnie get back in time and bring Batman with him to help his brothers before Bane causes irreparable destruction?
Oh hey. Batman will get to see TMNT's NY.

Considering how the first crossover and the animated crossover brought a lot of money to DC and IDW I knew this was going to be done eventually.

I wouldn't be surprised if eventually they do a direct to dvd animated crossover.

Still hoping there's a Transformers/Justice League crossover at some point.

...

>animated crossover
Nani

Batman Mutant Ninjas When?
I would love a game where you can pick to play as the 4 turtles or batman and robin in a story to take down the shredder and Ras with arkham gameplay

What are the chances of an ongoing crossover featuring Batman and maybe other heroes along with IDW properties?

Batman hates killing but he hates gun the most due to childhood drama. Damian has used swords plenty of times and nowadays knows not to kill anyone.

Awesome, this is gonna be goo--

>Damien

Uh, maybe it'll still be alright.

>can't even spell his fucking name

tmnt/power rangers when! Power rangers is what killed tmnt and was even mocked in the last archie comic

He was pretty chill in the last one aside from thinking Casey, Mikey, and Donnie were intruders.

...

In fact Batman the animated serie was the first thing that hit hard tmnt then Power Rangers finished the job.

>then Power Rangers finished the job.
But- I thought the Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers are friends...

some one should shop that indian guy saying we are now friends with them

>Freddie Williams II

I actually want to know how Freddie became pals with the Red Letter Media guys.

Is Hun still around? Would actually like to see him meet Bane.

not canon to the idw comics so while yes he is still around it does not matter either way, shredder is dead and he is still apearing
