>It looks like he's saying... 'Kiss me, kiss me'
>movies that couldn't be made nowadays
this movie was gold
I liked the sex scene
Underrated movie.
Everything about it was pitch perfect for what they were trying for.
Not to mention the best sex scene in cinematic history.
>be me 3 years ago at uni
>have fuckbuddy over, put this movie on
>start fucking
>AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS
>burst out laughing
>she doesnt get it and is annoyed
>leaves
>I continue to watch this marionettekino alone
No regrets.
if it makes fun of republicans, than its timeless and nobody will care. the other side are the ones that get uppity.
The Team America March theme is unironically great.
HANS BRIX? Oh no!
>Attacks real life liberals and depicts them as terrorists.
>Not a single real-life Republican politician or conservative civilian depicted.
>Movie's allegory of pussies/dicks/assholes suggests being a warmongering dick is exactly how the USA should behave.
>Global War on Terror, and the resultant refugee crisis continues to this day in 2018.
T-thanks guys!
I'll never forget the time I watched this in theaters. Literally the only time I've been where the entire theater was laughing fucking hard at nearly every scene. It was so good. Never experienced a comedy like that since.
The uncut sex scene
He's heading down Bakka Lakka Dakka Street!
Parker and Stone (or whoever writes most of their music) are lyrical comedy geniuses. I mean, all the songs from Team America (Montage, Only a Woman, America - Fuck Yeah) and South Park, and Book of Mormon are the best.
Like fuck, good on them.
>she
This. I still think about it. They managed to make a comedy where you are laughing at the very least every 30 seconds for 90 minutes, either from jokes, the absurdity, or the fact you're watching damn marionettes. Good shit.
I want to watch it with Sup Forums now. Stream when?
MAAATT DAMOOOOOON
Only other film that does it is Airplane!
Ya not everyone is a gay fag like u
>Team America isn't considered nowadays
You just watched Joe Rogan, didn't you?
trips of truth
this was the first camrip i ever downloaded
also one of the last ones
i was just an edgy lil teeny bopper who wanted to see this movie by matt & trey but i don't even think it was released in my country
>be 14
>go to cinema to watch Borat
>blag my way in with a fake birthday
>the entire cinema is filled with "15 year olds"
>everyone laughs incredibly hard from start to finish
literally the only time I can ever remember this happening, especially the naked hotel fight
I've rewatched it since a few times and I've never found it as funny but I'll always remember
Where do you live, North Korea?
Our lecturer showed the bar scene as an example of a parody of colonialism. Me and my mate were laughing until we realised two Muslim students were sitting behind us.
>KIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAH
this is my fave
>its kinda sirry, but no rearry
This is still so relevant. It's like it was written within the past week.
the montage song is the GOAT and still applicable
The lyrics to Only a Woman are seriously fucking hilarious. Overshadowed by the puppet standing 69
>I was always kind of bewildered by Team America, I think because it's hard for us to understand what our images are in public, I think we're not good judges of that, and when I saw myself on screen just only able to say my own name and not really that well, I kind of wondered "Wow, is that how people perceive me?"
>Originally, Matt Damon (who Trey Parker and Matt Stone have admitted is really a "pretty cool guy") was going to be portrayed as intelligent and articulate, but when they saw the puppet, they noted that it made him "look retarded" and decided to portray him as such.
hakka sherka sherka a'bec allah
>Smartass motherfucker
Is that Berlusconi?
This and Kung Pow are the only two movies that'll have me bustin' my sides constantly throughout.
A lot has changed in the last 15 years.
>You're a buttfucking quitter!
God this movie was incredible
The thing I'll always remember most about the experience was being trolled by the first scene. I'd not seen any trailers for it so when it opened up looking like this I just thought "Holy shit, I'm not watching a 90 minute movie that looks like this", and then the pan out was just amazing. 10/10.
>as actors, it is our responsibility to read the newspapers and then say what we read on television as if it's our own opinion
it’s such a shame Matt and trey are such shadows of their former selves now
Shame Matt and Trey are just as bad as the rest of the liberals today
I remember when I was 12 and thought this movie was actually good too, OP
>Originally, Matt Damon (who Trey Parker and Matt Stone have admitted is really a "pretty cool guy") was going to be portrayed as intelligent and articulate, but when they saw the puppet, they noted that it made him "look retarded" and decided to portray him as such.
I don't know why I'm laughing so hard at that.
>Jesus, this is a nice limo
>Yes it is. Now suck my cock
Reminded me of this
youtube.com
How does it feel to be 16-19 years old and far too mature for it now?
YA GAVE UP ON LIFE DIDDIN YEA!?!
I'm 27. If you haven't realize Matt and Trey are hacks yet, you may be retarded.
>I'm gonna rip off your balls and shove them up your ass so next time you shit, you shit all over your balls
You should have tried 21, I might have bought that. Artists turning shit in old age doesn't negate the value of their early works, and Team America is brilliant.
I'm 27, why would I lie on an anonymous image board dumbshit?
That's the type of thing a teenager, such as yourself, does.
I dunno, the FAG took a big hit in this movie
AMERICA
FUCK YEAH
40 Year Old Virgin and Borat were similar
GET OUTTA THE STREET YOU FUCKING BUM
>what's satire
>what's irony
>Matt Damon watches team america
>Spends days and weeks pondering what his portrayal means, starts questioning his whole existence and the meaning of life
>"The puppet just looked retarded so we made him a retard." The End.
many keks were had
>implying
It was just a couple years ago that they made the best season of South Park yet.
I remember how much I fucking laughed at that scene when I saw the movie for the first time. That scene and the sex scene are classic
The "get outta the street" line still cracks me up bigly to this day. But then again that whole movie is one of the funniest things ever made, ever.
>tfw didn't get to see it in theatres when it was released because I was living in Turkey and it didn't get a release (did see SP:BLU a few years earlier in the cinema)
>had to see a shitty camrip
>tfw went to see it at a movie theater showing a few months ago (in 35mm projection for extra win)
>tfw just a handful of diehard fans there having the time of our fucking lives
the corners of my mouth were literally hurting afterwards
>the corners of my mouth were literally hurting afterwards
I feel like Maaatt Daaamon when this happens.
This is a magnificent movie.
Underrated as fuck.
It genuinely sums up America in just the title, and the way America fucks literally everything up the entire movie is also spot on to how things genuinely are in the real world.
Trey and Matt were right on the money with this one.
FREEDOM ISN'T FREE.
You got to admit Matt and Trey shine the most when they can do music numbers.
shut the fuck up
Be less wrong.
Well timed "You gave up on life didn't ya?"s while your friends are drunk and puking is always great for laughs. They usually start smiling too, which makes it funnier when they keep vomiting.
I don't live in an english speaking country, kindly kys.
k brb
Oh man spot on. My friends and I have done this multiple times. Or if you see someone having a bad time at a club/bar, “ya gave up on life didn’t ye!?”
>They had to add scat and piss into the sex scenes so the MPAA could cut something so they wouldn't go after the films political content
BASED
THEY WENT EAST ON BAKA LAKA DAKA STREET!
The main theme is the tits when playing FPS games on the US side.
you live in a bubble
>I've never seen acting that good
fucking nice
Forgetting the best one
youtube.com
>ooooh, buck o'five....
WE HAVE NO INTELLIGENCE
>not realizing that the entire current democrat leadership and the democratic 2016 presidential candidate voted to go to ((("war"))) with iraq
haha yeah those crazy republicians am I right fellow useful idiot? #resist
>watching movie with friends
>any even remotely somber scene involving warfare/terrorism
>”What would you do-oooo”
MATT DEMON
WUT WOULD YOU DYEWWWW
fucking kek
It wasnt meant to be a parody. Retarded yes but it was making a point about how without a large aggressive militaries you end up with shit like the mongol hordes raping half a continent.
>USA caused the refugee crisis meme
You can stop with that nonsense. The USA hasn't been bombing Uzbekistan or Ghana and yet those people are still flooding Europe. Very little of anyone claiming refugee status is anything close to a Syrian/Iraqi.
Happened to Kevin Smith too. Went from someone wanting to undercut Hollywood to someone shilling for shit like the TLJ.
I think he was talking about the derka derka cantina scene.
That scene is in no way a parody of colonialism. That whole movie isn't a parody at all (well maybe some bits), but satire.
MAAAAATT DAAAAAMON
I'll just leave this great speech here.
kys
Probably because Hollywood stopped making good comedy movies around 2007.
Actually, I can't even remember the last comedy movie to even come out and it's kind of scaring me. The 21 Jump Street movies? What the fuck happened?
absolute kino
>Do something Arec Bardwin!
>The... the... GLOBAL WARMING and.. and... CORPORATE AMERICA and...
>BOOOOOOOOH BOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
Smart-ass mofucka!
Oooh herro Hanz!
There's a story where one of the Producer execs thought the same thing with that scene.
