What show is he watching?

Rick & Morty.

That's that one episode of Rick and Morty where Rick and Summer get buff and beat up a Nazi

thanks

>Tesla on the desk
That's cool but cheap. Everyone carts out Tesla as the "lol weirdo genius inspiration"

Looks like what a millennial desk jockey would want people to think his workspace looks like.

So about right for a Hollywood movie where everything is just real life taken to 11.

Eh. Generic. Let me know when there's something interesting in this movie. Like, if the Invisible Jet is in this flick, I'd be all over that shit.

>Rick and Morty

Which one would you rather work at, Sup Forums?

I dunno, if you ask me they both look way too young.

Movie Barry. TV Barry mancave is depressing.
And they aren't blonde and one isn't even white.

this kid sucks. his show sucks. the gimp suit is the worst comic book costume I've ever seen, on par or worse than the leather x-men in x1.

ezra may not look like he's the most promising part of the JL flick but he doesn't look like a faggot in a leather outfit that smells like cumfarts.

>ezra may not look like he's the most promising part of the JL flick but he doesn't look like a faggot in a leather outfit that smells like cumfarts.

Ezra, please watch your language.

terrible use of the "im talking to the real person" meme.

Why so many screens? Has he never heard of multiple workspaces or alt-tab?

Hmm... all those screens seem fairly exploitable.

It'd be a shame if someone who knew how to photoshop i.e. not me sadly were to do something funny here to NEET Barry.

There's way too many screens.

I do prefer the idea that a super hero, especially when starting out and uncertain about whom he wants to share his (a) optional "job" and (b) personal life/identity simply because he offers to perform said "optional" tasks, versus needing to have a team as the DCW show runners have all decided everyone, including a super-powered Kryptonian NEEDS to have. But it's still too many screens. Even if they had a cool moment showing how Barry can consume the information from 20-4- even 100 screens to determine where he might need to or want to act/intercede next, it's overkill. The much cooler, more interesting montage was, for example, showing The Flash devouring a bunch on manuals and books on construction to help people in a disaster partially of his causing rebuild their homes, and equally watching Clark study medical text books in a nano-second to perform surgery on his then just-friend Lois (Morrison's Action run).

IF they are going to go with Barry being a brilliant albeit autistic/inward-looking/isolated genius (and yeah Nicholas is over done short hand here), that would be cool, if they actually developed that - but we're already getting Iris West and Cereal Lord's origin with Henry in jail bullshit making Barry just another angsty asshole in spandex - all we need are the collection of Bo Duke dolls to complete the picture that Rick and Morty is contributing ....

Looks exactly like bats setup.

Probally Movie Barry
He doesn't need a Cisco to help him understand science shit. Tv Barry aka Chad Barry forgot he was a scientist long ago.

In retrospect those leather costumes were pretty cool

Needs more monitors

the superior barry

Shit taste faggot

I like that he's intelligent. Not sure if he's wise or has tactical knowledge, which is okay since he's just starting. Better than the TV version because he doesn't need other people to carry him in his own city. If they tone up his forensic scientist angle, it could be really cool. Not to mention the Flash/Batman crossover potential.

>leather bellbottoms
>cool
it was an x-men film not fucking Detroit Rock City 2. those were terrible. I've hated Fox ever since that fucking yellow spandex line. I quite literally looked at my father and said "but that's what he wears" too young to understand a bunch of adults being so opposed to such an iconic look.

This was before season 3. They didn't know that women would come along and ruin it.

objectively, not subjectively, incorrect. when you have faggots like this: saying "superior" to a fucking gimpsuit of any kind you can't possibly say it's good.

Anybody who likes the CW shows, but Flash in particular indisputably has shit taste. Unless of course they like it because of how shitty it is.

Being a forensic analyst doesn't translated into knowledge of all fields of science. Particularly mechanical engineering.

You should be more triggered Barry needs Caitlin's help than Cisco's.

>leather x-men in x1.
Don't remind me.

>the more monitors I have the smarter I look

Stay triggered.

Would be inconvenient because he thinks faster than the computer will process his commands. Better to have multiple computers doing multiple things at once, and he can switch between them while they're catching up.

>implying the DCEU costume of plastic crotch-plates held on with string is """"superior""""

>we're ALL Black Widow

That's actually a fairly good point.

I love that this was a single throwaway joke in the after credit scene but Sup Forums has latched onto it like it was the whole plot of that episode.

probably hit a little to close to home for most anons.

reddit and memey

Daniel Webster vs. Satan featuring Rick Sanchez.

I didn't imply that I expressly said that. Why would leather hold up better than NASA pieces? I assume that was their reasoning for leather. Despite that being the literally worst material to make his costume from.

I prefer the do a spandex-type material in all honestly. especially for flash.

Anything is better than Flas''s costume. What's up with that flash's left arm? You got to understand the time period. At least they haven't worn leather since X3.

>spandex-type material
Nah. Whatever spiderman or superman's costume is made out of.

I like the TV crime lab better.

And dropped.

Charles Xavier: This leather was made out of the Jews who died in the Holocaust. We wear it to honor their lives. Such poor souls. My friends, my family, and even those I did not know. We must keep their memory alive.

It was a different time.

I understand Magneto now.

I guess that's kinda what I meant by spandex. That's essentially what those are. Just a different percentage of materials in it's make-up. So it's some kind of -tex.

But, yes, exactly that. Deadpool, as much as I'm reeing about it in another thread is one of the few costumes I've liked that went the leather route.

k, bye then.

>bitching about the existence of support staff
Do me a favor, and kill yourself. Better yet, try accomplishing any task of substance without help, equipment, or established infrastructure of any kind. See how that plays out for you, retard.

>Rick and Morty
IT'S REDDIT, BARRY

IT'S REDDIT

>try accomplishing any task of substance without help, equipment, or established infrastructure of any kind.
t. non-powered cuck

/OURGUY/!

>I WAS THE ONE WHO WROTE ALL THE BAD EPISODES
>I MADE SURE THAT THE SHOW YOU LIKED WOULD GO DOWNHILL
>And worst of all...I WAS THE ONE WHO SHILLED FOR IT ON REDDIT, ENSURING THAT IT WOULD CONTINUE TO BE POPULAR DESPITE ITS DECLINE IN QUALITY

>cold resistance

I hope this costume is just Barry's rookie outfit and he makes a better one down the line.
It would make sense with all the wires and padding holding the thing together.

Hopefully they don't pull a Spider-Man Homecoming and have Bruce make Barry's real costume.

>as much as I'm reeing about it in another threa
What thread?

user, they do that strictly to have a fuller cast (I'm not even speakign diverse, just a literally quantitatively bigger cast). Also this:

>try accomplishing any task of substance without help, equipment, or established infrastructure of any kind.

makes no sense in the context of the conversation. I've never seen anyone defend a supporting cast so adamantly. Go back to fucking Sup Forums you autist.

To be honest I don't care where it would come from as long as it looks better than this crap

I'm thinking they do it better: Bruce says "well here's all the materials you asked for, now you can put it together any way you want." Then he puts it all together in half a second.

>Hopefully they don't pull a Spider-Man Homecoming and have Bruce make Barry's real costume.
Nice subtle sarcasm

Thats been confirmed in the set visits from months ago

That's what I'm expecting, Barry's smart enough to put a better costume together but he doesn't have the materials to do it without resorting to stealing.

Superpowers do not allow you to snap your fucking fingers and just do stuff. Unless you're a reality warper, but type greens tend to either go power mad, or think themselves above everything, so they're never superheroes anyway.

Even a kryptonian is going to need a place to sleep and store their stuff, equipment with which to analyze clues, and allies who know about shit they themselves are not experts of.

But all my huffing is for naught, cause watch, despite that "non-powered cuck" comment, I know for fucking certain you and all the other twats here don't have any problem with the Batcave. Because it's okay when Batman does it.

Fuck what I said earlier. Actually go kill yourself, you filthy sack of shit.

I'm the person that wrote the post on the screens. My point (and the user you're responding to comment) have to do with the SUPPORT TEAM that they are suddenly providing to every hero on the DCW. The Legends don't have a support team because they have a magical ship with magical med bays that magically heal anything including death, and said magical ship also has an AI with higher processing power than apparently pretty much anything else and can create costumes, and other necessary items for missions such as translation tools, etc. on demand and as needed.

Batman has Alfred. I don't object to Barry having Iris. Or having Wally. He shouldn't need all that crap.

>Even a kryptonian is going to need a place to sleep and store their stuff, equipment with which to analyze clues, and allies who know about shit they themselves are not experts of.

Everything you describe here Clark has in his Fortress. DCW Kara has access to his fortress. At least initially her team was just wifi guy and photographer suddenly art director friend of Clark's but now she's a government agent with an entire government agency supporting her, notwithstanding that the show made the very pointed point of showing AND stating multiple types in case the point wasn't made strongly enough, that she was the most powerful and strongest being in her universe.

user, you're just mad for some reason. I guess maybe you like one of the side members in Flash.

Your initial greentext was REEing about user not liking a support staff. In that comment you mentioned infrastructure. But, in all honesty, I took that to mean a group of people supporting them rather than a physical infrastructure.

So keep on one fucking point. You could have even shit on him with the same example of Alfred and the Robins. But you're too busy being an emotional fucking faggot.

And still, you're using a human non-powered character to respond to an user that jokingly called you a non-powered cuck. Why are you so adamant about defending television conventions like a supporting cast? it's okay to say "they need that to make an hour long show every week." It's not done for the sake of the story.

I wish he was older or Batman was younger so they could be contemporaries like in the comics, also he better be significantly faster than superman

movie Barry. imagine watching porn in all those screen. i'll be cumming in a flash.

>My point (and the user you're responding to comment) have to do with the SUPPORT TEAM that they are suddenly providing to every hero on the DCW.
Why do you see that as a problem though? A support team is a logical thing to have, and provides avenues for storytelling. In fact, that's almost certainly the thinking behind this direction. I mean, if you dislike the characters themselves, that's fine, but bitching about their mere presence is frankly stupid.

As to your second point... well, I'm not sure I follow your second point. It hardly matters that she's the toughest motherfucker around, Kara will still need all that shit to be effective at her job. It'd also help if she got herself a personality as well, but I digress.

Ezra is too handsome

>and provides avenues for storytelling.
for television. Which is no reason to defend it.

It feels like you're a Sup Forums poster more than a Sup Forums poster.

>How do we convey Barry's intelligence?
Put a picture of Tesla on his desk
>How do we make him relatable?
LUL make him liek R&M since it's suck a woke intellectual series XD.

>since it's popular right now.

FTFY

Supporting casts provide avenues of storytelling for all forms of media, you fucking idiot. You can only take a story so far with a single character, and nothing else. Even series like Samurai Jack has various guest and recurring characters.

Your attitude baffles and offends me. You seem like one of those idiots who only cares about power levels and fight scenes. The protagonist interacting with someone outside of punching them gets in the way of that.

>But, in all honesty, I took that to mean a group of people supporting them rather than a physical infrastructure.
Frankly, I meant both.

What's with the bird?

Well I only identified it by that scene in my post because I don't remember most of Rick and Morty but I like that scene.

>Frankly, I meant both.
No you didn't. You used that ass pull to make your batcave point. Which was terrible. Just as you're now using "supporting cast" after saying supporting team. You're full of flawed, shitty, hole-ridden logic and you attempt to argue with asspulls.

You're the Scott Snyder of arguing.

>You seem like one of those idiots who only cares about power levels and fight scenes.

Looks like you took, word for word, something i said to you or someone else though. So you're at least trying to learn from good sources. A Supporting team isn't a supporting cast though and that's not what you've been arguing.

Superpowered individuals do not NEED some faggots sitting around helping them. That was anons point. You immediately blew it out of proportion because it seems you quite enjoy the flash cast members.

Set visits already confirm that Batman upgrades Flash's costume later but the difference between Flash and MCU Spidey is that Barry already has the important, comic-accurate parts in his original costume, while everything iconic to Spider-Man came from Tony.

user, I'm a massive DCEU fan but this is a dumb post. There is nothing comic accurate about flash.

Yeah, I did mean both. Again, base of operations, equipment, support staff... you need all that shit in order to get shit done.

>Superpowered individuals do not NEED some faggots sitting around helping them.
Yes they fucking do, retard. Having superpowers does not make you omnipotent or omniscient.

Also, for the record, I don't watch any of the TV shows, I'm just generally in favor of supporting casts because they make sense, and it's saddening to see them slowly disappearing from comics in favor of more and more genetic two page spread fight scenes. Thankfully, this is reversing slightly with Rebirth, but it probably won't be long till DC is nothing but power levels wanking action scenes again.

youtube.com/watch?v=UX7bxe2whlw

Is there anyone actually completely, 100%, enthusiastically, unironically hyped for this? I'm a massive DCfag and I'm only cautiously optimistic although I know it's probably going to be a trainwreck. I know Sup Forums hates Joss Whedon but him being on board is getting my hopes up. I know it's probably not going to be a good movie but I hope the fight scenes are at least fantastic and that the movie doesn't do too much damage to the DCEU.

It's a different material and there's more going on but the important parts are still there. The basic design is there.

I WAS 100% hyped for it but all the Joss Whedon stuff makes me unsure.

When will Snyderfags ever learn?

It doesn't even have anything to do with Snyder, I just think Whedon is an asshole and a bad filmmaker.

To be fair, all the other justice league characters are unrelatable as shit and had crazy lives except for maybe cyborg pre-robotizication, I totally understand why they would want the flash to be the "nerd XD" audience surrogate. But it all depends on how well they play that angle, it can be done well but most likely it won't.

Joss Whedon has experience. He was able to make the team dynamics work in The Avengers 1. It's actually a no-brainer that they got him to fix this mess.

This is exactly the sort of thing where I was hoping that DCEU movies would have good writing and direction but with the visuals of MoS/BvS. Wonder Woman was like that too. But then this movie has already been poisoned by Snyder anyway.

Anyhow, hopefully moving forward, the DCEU is repaired and WB quits making stupid, shitty decisions.

Fair enough user.
also it's the Needful Things paradoy episode, so you can probably just replace any two words from that tile with rick and be pretty close.
Rickful Things
Needful Ricks
NeedRick Things

Nah homie I've seen Whedon's Wonder Woman script I don't trust him with these characters at all. Have you read about his plans for Batgirl? It sounds awful.

So he's already been confirmed, then? Shame. It probably won't be a bad movie in the least, but I was hoping they'd go with Nicholas Refn. I think he'd make a great crime movie set in the DCEU.

hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/joss-whedon-batgirl-exploring-damage-behind-his-next-superhero-995812

Here he is talking about it. He talks about it like he's never heard of a fucking superhero before lol

I don't know why you would have brought that up. Nobody spoke about a physical infrastructure until you brought it up. And again, it only played a part in your worst point so far.

>Having superpowers does not make you omnipotent or omniscient.
And NOT having super powers somehow grants you all the information the cape doesn't know? Or it grants you all the powers the cape doesn't have?

Seems to me, while you're randomly going off about powerlevels based on nothing but you're own assumption from your last post, you're looking for lazy story telling. They use the people in the show to easily solve problems, to act as macguffins or to provide the macguffin. That's it.

>He talks about it like he's never heard of a fucking superhero before lol
He sounds fine. He's written superhero comics before. I don't think he's some incredible genius but I trust him with any superhero movie more so than Zack fucking Snyder.

Shame we're not going to get that Nicholas Refn Batgirl movie then. Shame we're probably never going to get a live-action Cass as well. Everything's got to be all about Barbara just because she's the one all the normies are familiar with.

I'm really fucking psyched and don't care what anyone says.

BvS is my favorite cape film so I can only imagine ho much I'll like jl. Fight me

>I don't trust him with these characters at all.
Yet you trust Snyder.

Imagine having such shit taste

Barry Allen in the DCEU should think Lex Luthor is awesome right?

>moves at light speed
>aerodynamics test in one screen
That's like being preocupied of mosquitos hitting your windscreen in a meteorite storm

He doesn't ALWAYS move at lightspeed

>the superior barry
