And what is with white people renovating homes, is that a thing.

>white people renovating homes

so the house will be worth more to the greedy bankers when you sell the home and move out.

The renovation show is I think just to pick fun at the 10000000 renovation/house flipping shows on tv. That is definitely as thing.

As for cartman, I know he was getting annoyed with heidi last season, thinking she wasn't really that funny and was annoying. He thinks that since he can't tell her SILENCE that she is insubordinate, and since she actually stands up for herself and her feelings, she is "abusive." I didn't think they'd end their relationship so quickly and abruptly, but here we are. They must have wanted to tie up or cut off any loose ends left from the last season as soon as possible so it can be forgotten

My question is... is heidi really gonna kill herself now?

I feel so bad for her.

Cartman always thinks everything is about him. This is normal behavior for him. Heidi had to find out sooner or later, and this was the perfect way for it to happen. It let her be her saccharine sweet self but against Cartman that means less than nothing.

The house renovation thing had a few layers which are obvious if you can follow along with what they're referencing but slightly less so if you aren't familiar with it at all. I was in the later camp so I just felt kind of lost during the Randy parts.

She'll either keep trying and maybe become a monster as she finds out more about who Cartman really is, or maybe she'll just drop it and go back to normal. Either way as long as she has that hat, she'll stay about as relevant as Bebe or Token at least.

>Why is Eric being acting like a victim.

He's always been doing that

>

It's just weird I thought I remembered the creators saying that they were going to keep Cartman x Heidi and thing through the season

Seems like their going back to back to status quo

Wait, the new season started?

When?

>Seems like their going back to back to status quo

The last season sucked so very much that they're probably desperate to reset the show.

The only thing that left me confused was thefucked up audio track.

Was the loud music drowning out the character's voices supposed to be part of some ambient joke that I didn't get?

Are you non American? We have a tv channel that is 80% dedicated buying, selling, and making homes in dozens of ways. From moving to building tiny homes. They'll show it.

Wednesday.

Oh look it's another

>Eric is an arrogant douchebag and learns nothing by the end of the episode episode

The fuck do you expect?

I'm American, but even since I started college 4 years ago I haven't watch TV since, I only keep track of shows I like. The only house makeover show I've ever seen was extreme makeover home edition, do they still make that show.

During like the twenty minute mark Randy tells one of the hicks to play the background music at "60%" and from that point on the music plays normally. It's a joke.

I think they originally had the idea to BTFO of Sup Forums and/or Antifa and pussied out.

I think I got it, it was lame but I got it

>Yo what kinda audio mixing you want

>I SAID WHAT KIND OF AUDIO MIXING YOU WANT

>Darry lwhat kind of job did you think you'll get?
>Sum'n dignifying
>I'm sorry Darryl, you didn't go to college
lel
you murrikans have a fucking problem in the next ten years with your collegememe

They said keep he around and that they like the idea the Cartman is in a messed up relationship.

>Why is Eric being acting like a victim.
You haven't spent much time around women, huh. Cartman was of course taking it to extremes, that's South Park for you. But passive aggressive rubbish like 'we both need to work on things' translates to 'YOU need to get your shit together to please me, I'm already doing everything right'. This is how bad women manipulate weak men. It's not abuse, like Cartman claimed, of course but it IS manipulative bullshit.

Of course the joke within the joke may be that Heidi was actually dead serious when she spat out those stereotypical female bullshit lines.

>>Eric is an arrogant douchebag and learns nothing by the end of the episode episode
Erik is a machiavellian narcissist. This is South Park.

I interpreted it as a play on a "normal" dysfunctional relationship between an overly needy woman and a man that only wants her as a submissive ornament.

As opposed to what?

Or, maybe, it's because he acts like the victim all the time and you're reading too much into it because you're a loser who will never have a chance with a woman.

lol, you'll never be loved

...

You will never be happy because you're expecting the type of guy you're into (arrogant asshole) to be caring and loving

to be fair college used to be a sweet deal back in the day when your bigest worry was becoming one of those tie wearing squares
nowdays shits so bad people like me waste away in anime porn and drgus until they commit suicide but what do i know? i was never able to start my life because people 50 years ago wanted to be rich

>you're a loser who will never have a chance with a woman.
oh no, i will never get to work all day to give my money to someone that hates me

The whole episode was just a hodgepodge of things that are going wrong with the modern world. No sytemic metaphorical extrapolation of some deep social critique, just a funny mix of technophilia, shitty reality tv, fucked up gender dynamics, current political happenings and general decadence. I loved it.
And they even had jokes, how about that? No more boring purely story-focused shit, every scene built up to some sort of punchline.

I'm a guy, mate. Most women don't like arrogant assholes, otherwise you'd be swimming in pussy. Stop watching porn and try actually talking to girls, it'll be fun.

You inadvertently admitted to being a samefag in your rush to deny being a woman. But hey. its alright because no matter what your gender is, you're undoubtedly a pussy.

>I'm a guy, mate
a guy who speaks and acts like a woman

>You will never be happy
Can't argue with that
>type of guy you're into
Thanks for the laughs

>admitted to being a samefag
Is that so? I didn't actually comment on the OP before and my only post itt beforehand was , so I'm not samefagging at all.

I don't know, man. You have some pretty rigid and unhealthy standards of masculinity. I am comfortable around women and they are comfortable around me. I have many female friends with whom I can connect on deeply personal level and don't usually leave a party without a few kisses or a backroom lovemaking session. At any rate, I think my social and sexual life are much more more satisfying than the likes of will ever experience. If your media-based standards of masculinity keep you from connecting with women in real life, you're really not much of a man at all, because at the end of the day a man is supposed to be an attractive partner and a guardian to his family. Are you that? Because I am.

Are these posts supposed to be satire or are you niggers serious?

>I don't know, man. You have some pretty rigid and unhealthy standards of masculinity
actually i dont, the bar is pretty low nowdays but even then you still dont sound manly enough for me to pay attention to you
hell even reading what you write feels like listening to a cartoon mom nag you about everything, i can read the words but my brain wants to desperately escape to something else

Don't talk to me like that, young man! I didn't bring you into this world to be an angry internet virgin. I want grandkids one day, so why don't you get on out there and mingle? You're a pretty little man, it could be so easy for you. If only you got out of your head some of the time...

there is no authority in the way you communicate, it feels like you dont belive what you are saying, you should consider orkingon that since its a deep character flaw

They went hand in hand; Eric and the rednecks were both victimized by who they are as people, not by the outside world. There's something in them that clicks and turns them into assholes when met with realities outside their comfort zone and they present two solutions: Changing your core and renovating who you are or rejecting cooperation and living alone with simple pleasures. It wasn't a very funny episode, but both plots had a consistent theme of victimhood which went in two different directions.

thank god we elected one of those people to be president
he knows all about colleges ruining people's lives

So that's the way you want to play it, you wanna get spanked, huh? Listen, honey, I don't have any power over you. I just want you to consider a different perspective, let the sun into your life. Get all warm and cozy with it. I'm here if you want to talk, there's nothing to be ashamed of on an anonymous image board, no image to uphold, just let it all out. Why don't you go for a walk to the ice cream shop on such a nice day? Maybe pull your hat at some cute femme you meet on the way? Life's a rollercoaster, stop clinging to the handlebar. and don't take everything so seriously, girls don't like that. At least that you should have learnt from your cartoons by now.

>thank god we elected one of those people to be president
as oppossed to the other two of those people that where the alternative?

Am I on reddit? Because that was a legit good post.

She was being genuine and there's nothing to suggest otherwise. Cartman was calling her abusive because she wasn't a robot who'd just do what she's told and be there for him without him having to be there for her.

>Was anybody else confused with this episode.
No, it seemed pretty straightforward.

>Why is Eric being acting like a victim.
Because that's been Cartman's thing since the beginning. He's an asshole that blames others and not himself. Don't you remember that "Fish Stick's joke" Episode? He psychologically imagined himself to be the one that came up with the joke and not Jimmy.

> And what is with white people renovating homes, is that a thing.
DIY is the hip new thing(Been popular for years now), as well as selling homes.

The creators are just old hacks who base jokes off stuff they personally watch tv, when young people nowadays don't even just trawl through television for any old crap like the old days when they can go online and find what they want or choose what live tv stuff they want to watch at their own convenience.

They need to be put in a care home for old creative burnouts, they've lost touch with what the originally prided themselves on.

>(Been popular for years now)
So much for being current and topical South Park.

There's a ton of reality shows about home renovating, there are even ones about gay people who renovate homes. That's what they were making fun of.

>WHY IS CARTMAN BEING AN ASSSHOLE WAAAAAAAA

Fucking glad Heidifags got BTFO

Underrated post.

>Sign of a man who gets their dating facts from TV

If you actually dated because you wanted to find someone you like, not dated because your daddy told you you have to, you'd quickly find out that dating is great. When you find someone who shares your interests, agrees with you, and is generally your best friend whom you can also fuck.

And if you don't like them man should pay for the woman's date, then you can absolutely find a woman who agrees and finds that uncomfortable and either pays for herself or even treats you from time to time. I've known women like that, they feel way better buying their own dinners or movie tickets because then they don't feel obligated to the guy. And as you two get closer, the concept of "who pays for who" gets thrown out the window and it just becomes "who is gonna treat who tonight".

Of course you wouldn't know that because your knowledge of women doesn't seem to extend beyond Family Guy stereotypes.

Are we reading the same thread?

I think we are.

>Sign of a man who gets their dating facts from TV
i havent watched any tv in years, last i checked it was about an old guy married to some mexican woman with a previous chils and there where gay people and some guy with mental retardation or something

They probably changed their minds, it's not like they write this shit out in advanced.

>When you find someone who shares your interests, agrees with you, and is generally your best friend
so i just have to find the first woman in the history of the world who doesnt want free money?
>I've known women like that
thats called investing, she will pretend to be independant and actually pay for a thing here and there and as soon as you make the mistake of marryingher you are stuck paying all her debt
go try your stale 20 year old tricks on someone else

Probably the best you're going to get in a troll thread.

Try a little harder for your (you)s cause I sure as hell ain't giving them to ya.

>south park
>good
>any year passed 2002
So much shit-taste ITT

>And what is with white people renovating homes, is that a thing.
>white people

Only whites do it?
Maybe it's a metaphor for Trumps presidency.
Like , you know, white people are making america great again starting with their home.

youtube.com/watch?v=PivWY9wn5ps

That's some mental gymnastics.

Jim-Bob playing the music too loud in the bar wasn't funny because that was how fucking loud all the background audio was to begin with.

I swear they have this audio mixing problem all the fucking time. Who is in charge of this shit?

psychic aerobics

Does anyone know if this season will have continuity or not? I really hope it doesn't.

>tfw used to watch tons of those home improvement and renovation shows so got every fucking joke
>every single house was "knock down the wall between the living room and kitchen for muh open concept"

For the people complaining about the auto, I think that was a network problem. I have direct tv and the show sounded normal to me.

I also have DirectTV and that shit was stupid loud.

...

>The creators are just old hacks who base jokes off stuff they personally watch tv

This has been the state of things since about 08-09. The show stopped telling stories about characters in South Park and began being nothing but tv parody after movie parody.

It's clear Matt and Trey ran out of ideas ten years ago and now only make episodes making fun of what they watched the night before.

Are we going to not talk about the show setting off everyone's echo etc

Because that was great.

I think it's funnier for Cartman to be in a healthy relationship, because he's such a toxic person that it's almost sickening to see him with someone who truly loves him.

Nah, you're just a little bitch blaming others. You're exactly like Cartman, playing the victim. probably a fatfuck too.
