Thanks a lot, OP, you paragon of intellect. I needed an explanation on why Legend of fucking Korra is, in fact, a bad show

>hour long
nope

Everyone with a brain knows its shit already.
Only good thing was porn.

>that vocal fry

is a sexual frustrated guy that says he's asexual episode.

>hour long
Do you really need that much time to say something was boring?

>Do you really need that much time to say something was boring?
The amount of threads we've had about it exceed that hour by years. And it keeps happening.

But the threads are fun, and there is jokes, mostly just shitting on the show. Why do we need enter to moralfag for an hour, especially considering he is painfully unfunny.

t. Korra fan

>Just called threads where people do nothing but insult Korra fun
>Somehow this makes me a Korra fan
No idea what was expected of an Enterbot.

>Video starts with some random unfunny skit and shitty art
>Pretends like saying Korra is bad is something controversial
This is why I use hooktube, and why you should too.

>It sounds like the equalist are complaining about problems that they don't really have
THAT'S THE POINT YOU FUCKING RETARD. IF THEY HAD REAL PROBLEMS THEY'D BE THE GOOD GUYS IN THE FUCKING STORY.

Why do people still shill Enter videos here? Is it bait?

How are these threads fun? It's all just impotent rage

No need for the butthurt Korra fanboy

>insulting a bad show is impotent rage
wew lad

Being an Enterfag is a million times worse than being a korrafag.

Quit shilling your shitty "reviews", autist.

>No! I'm beginning to enjoy my anger!.jpg

Does being an asexual autist affect your reading skills?

Sheesh be happy he actually agrees with you

He's right you know.

K O R R A

Korra might not have been originally designed for it but, my god she would be perfect for a mindbreak degeneration hentai.

I wish there was a video explaining why OP was shit.

yes because I need to watch a video where someone tells me something I already know or argues for a point I already agree with

This is part of the problem with the modern internet

>a fucking hour
No. Korra was shit because it had no overarching narrative, it took place mostly in the same place, and because the writers treated Korra's genital carousel like it was as important as actual plot.

>E;R in the comments

Thanks OP. I really needed to waste an entire hour listening to some autistic asexual manchild explain why a Nickelodeon cartoon from 5 years ago is shit.

>hour long
nope not watching that shit

>MR. Enter

I really do have to worry about this wave of people calling every possible thing "shit" - no other insults, no other adjectives, just "shit" everywhere.

bump

I actually like Mr. Enter.

Meh, I like Korra and enjoyed the comic everyone spazed about a month ago.

>4:32
>I am a writer, first and foresmost.
Korra is bad, but YouTube twats are worse.

>Not posting the definitive rant series

youtube.com/watch?v=bmKaQqinWKY

uuhhh. gimme the bullet points.

>Posting an hour long video on Sup Forums
4chan users have short attention spans, that's why they actually were fine with vine gifs/webms being posted here and use TL;DR.

What would Enter think of Xavier?

>this guy's 12 oz. criticism

full fucking pleb

>the show's bad because I don't understand it and I'm not going to be bothered to look into it

Goddamn

E.R did a better job and presented it faster

Enter's videos are grating and not because he's an autist. The man is just simply not entertaining. When you're making cartoon reviews you need to include some entertainment portion to the video.

Make some jokes, do some clever edits, do literally anything except just sit there and talk straight face about a cartoon for 54 minutes. Most internet Youtube reviewers have some level of self awareness but Enter doesn't

Enter is basically the stereotype of a "critic" you see in cartoons. The guy who takes his job too seriously and that's the conflict. He is an actual cartoon character

So, are going to start pretending to like Korra now to spite him, like we do with this piece of shit?

The point that stuck out to me the most was when he suggested "showing non-benders being refused service" as a way to show they were being oppressed. I get the feeling that he didn't really understand that the conflict being poorly portrayed was about the perceived advantages benders had and not that benders were actually prejudice against non-benders. The fact that he brought up Zootopia as a comparison kind of cements that point.

Was Suki the best girl?

Most people like LoK, it's just a handful of ATLA fanboys on Sup Forums who hate it.

Isn't this supposed to just be a Korra bashing/Mr. Enter bashing thread?

Great I just gave Mr Enter a click thanks to you, nigger.

E;R does a far better analysis of Korra cancer.

how can you tell when one is another?

still no, take the bipolar tranny bitch out of here

Post classic Enter cringe

meant for

It was bad. Get over it.

I'll always feel like an opportunity was lost when Korra wasn't converted over to the Red Lotus. We should have gotten a season of villain Korra burning it all down with Zaheer.

>Mr. Enter
Jesus dick

Sage this crap into oblivion

It's not an Avatar thread.

korra is made for trash by trash

well...theres some good evidence she was made because several creators just wanted to have a hot muscled girl flexing and doing flips all over a screen

>MrEnter
GUARANTEEDREPLIES.JPEG

I respect dat

>expected reniggings
>it's some other shit

cant really bring myself to disagree
considering that the last Korra thread devolved into repeated posting of pics of Korra flexing, showing off her muscles and her muscled back

Name a cartoon reviewer who does one of the following:

>goes out of his way to suck steven universe's dick
>actually is entertaining and engaging to listen to
>doesn't hide behind some stupid cartoon avatar gimmick
>actually pays attention to animation
>doesn't go into some nitpicky bullshit about morals
>praises a less mainstream show once in a while

>Mr. Enter dislikes it
Does mean Sup Forums has to like Korra now?

Fuck I meant to type doesn't

i love this heat reviews

Sup Forums's throbbing hateboner for the show is too strong, and E;R made a similar video so it's redundant

On some level I'm. Glad this video exists. Now you can easily point to it and say: this is the kind of person who hates The Legend of Korra.

The video is somewhat good. It's nitpicky for muh continuity reasons, and kind of really angry at Season 1 being basically worthless.

The person though, isn't someone you should compare to just anyone who hates the show. They're super fucking autistic.

Mr. Enter thinks FiM is one of the best cartoons of all time, hates 12 Oz. Mouse and Flapjack, and has narrow taste beyond kids cartoons

guy watches and talks about kids cartoons for a fucking living (or a majority of his hobby life), so of course his interests are extremely narrow outside of that.

Also, explain to me what is good about flapjack?

why does he say "no particular order" and then gives MLP and Gravity falls a tied position?
if it does have an order then why is Animaniacs anywhere below Jackie Chan, Hey Arnold or Recess, that smacks of someone who never saw the show but knows its hip with the critics

Even if you dislike it, it spawned one of the greatest cartoons of the decade

implied pedophilia?

What would Korra be like if /ourguy/ Aaron Ehasz wrote it?

I'm going to guess:
>Book 1
Half Korra/Half Flashbacks to Gaang about how they dealt with Amon's father. The storylines are more connected, Sokka gets more airtime. The gaang's (well, Toph and Sokka's) past aren't hidden like they were in LoK.

Korra loses her bending, but is granted the ability to give other people their bending back.

Love triangle is more palpable, remove the jealous Bolin bits and just cut overall screentime of the storyline.

>Book 2
About Korra's Uncle helping her regain her bending, with his same ulterior motive. Instead of breaking her connection to the Avatar Spirit to "kill" the connection to old series, Korra kills Unalaq before he can fuse with Vaatu to show that this series isn't fucking around. Korra gets her bending back over the course of the season.

>Book 3
Somehow he makes kino even more kino. Korra and Asami's relationship growth is more clear.

>Book 4
Makes it clear that the Fire Lord is Mai's. Korra and Asami are more flirty. Kuvira is a bit more diabolical.

That's just what I'm assuming. Aaron posted about his thoughts on Legend of Korra on his tumblr but deleted it a while later. He basically said that he liked it, thought it was a bit messy in the beginning, and that he thought the lack of mentioning the gaang's future insulting. He liked Korrasami.

New E;R video when
>Lily Peet plans LOK video a year ago
>after a year of work, it's 2 and a half hours long and almost ready
>Mr.Enter comes along with an hour long video that makes sure no one watches yours
JUST

With some perspective, I can honestly say that I liked Korra half of the time.
I mean there were certainly stupid shit present that bogged it down, like the absolutely bungled character development, the plot contrivances that make everyone look stupid, the villains who were meant to have relatable points of view but turned into mustache twirlers anyway.
And the sheer amount of daddy issues that every single character had.
But when it was fun, it was fun. I guess it needed to either take itself way less seriously or have way more polished writing to fully succeed.

It feels like the focus on shitty romance knocked it down early and it never fully recovered from that.

Oh, that's something good about it.
Flapjack has implied pedophilia? And that's a good thing about it? ok, Sup Forums.

what

How many autistic rants does he go on this time?

real question why is korra seem bad? both series seem good

As if it was needed. Anyone with two brain cells could see that Korra was shit.

That one is a bit difficult though because the show actually treat the issue like non-benders were oppressed, even though we don't really see the oppression, and that this is eleviated through Raiko becoming president.

Because other wise, it would be a top 11, not a top 10.

Those are very different things, user.

He nitpick a bit. But admit he is nitpicking and consider it wouldn't be fair for most cartoon, but for the Avatar soere, who put such an importance to the continuity and remanence of little tibit, it is fair to nitpick.

I'd have to imagine it would be consistent in it's plot lines and character arcs.

He might even be able to salvage the Raava/Vaatu plotline.

>not E;R's video on Book 2

I can agree with that. I'm not even too angry about the show as such, but i just feel like it had so much potential that was wasted on romance plots. And to top it off they end it on a romance statement. It's like they weren't paying attention.

>videos
FTFY

L I L O

Ways to fix Korra
>Crappy romance is relegated to the background instead of taking over the show for large portions. And yes, even if it's two hot lesbos. You can't write relationships to save your life.
>Figure out whether Korra is supposed to be a smart person or a stupid person and not whatever the plot needs at the moment.
>Make an actual story for Lin instead of having her go through the same arc THREE times over.
>Kill off Sujin or at least don't sell her as one of the good guys. Nobody is drinking your Ayn Rand kool-aid.
>Don't pretend like Bolin matters, also find somebody who can write jokes if you want to have a comic relief.
>Never try to cast Dante Basco as an adult again, unless you're going for some kind of Dr. Girlfriend level of dissonance.
>Stop trying to shove every single character into every single storyline. Korra's entourage keeps getting more bloated with people nobody cares about.
>Stop with the fucking daddy issues.

youtube.com/watch?v=bmKaQqinWKY

this one is better

Is E;R /ourguy/ now?

All cartoon reviewers need to be gassed.
The only good one was Jordan Underneath and he went full retard with his stupid puppet movies.

Much better than Enter. I mean seriously, who the fuck take anyone who describes themselves as "asexual" seriously? Asexuality the biggest meme since fucking autism.

It really is the fandom's fault for being so obsessed with who's fucking who in ATLA. It along with the Young Adult craze of Twilight and The Hunger Games sent the wrong message.

If you're doing some kind of epic fantasy saga, romance should probably not be the A plot. Especially if you have very little experience in writing for the subject matter.

But I will cut Bryke some slack in that they are far from the only people who shot themselves in the foot this way. Someone mentioned "Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul" in another thread. I can honestly say that that show has been utterly fucked beyond repair, while LoK managed to pull out of its nosedive with Season 3.

It's also Bryke and Nicks fault for giving into the fandoms obsession though. They could have done what they did in Atla and decide on a relationship from the beginning and stick with that choice instead of flipflopping on it. But yeah should have dropped it entirely or pushed to the background.

I always felt like LoK took another nosedive in book 4 so it doesn't really matter much how good book 3 was.

Not going to watch that autism but here are my personal complaints about Korra S1 (ignoring everything that happens in S2-4).

>weak worldbuilding (almost of it happens in the first episode and everything after is just a repetition), Republic City is really poorly developed as an actual place, especially considering that ATLA had god-tier worldbuilding
>too much focus on dumb romance that isn't interesting and makes the main characters unlikable
>Mako has no personality beyond being a hunk that Korra wants to fuck
>too much focus on pro-bending, which ultimately has nothing to do with the main plot or themes at all (I guess you could tie it together if you stretched it a bit, i.e. the city celebrates bending while the underclass of non-benders are oppressed, but none of the characters ever even remotely comment on it)
>Amon's identity is a total letdown
>Amon's powers are terribly written. Instead of being spiritbending, somehow they're an extra special mary sue version of bloodbending. Not only does it break ATLA continuity, it's also boring. The shitty payoff wasn't worth subverting expectations and shitting on the lore. As well as making bloodbending itself less interesting and more nonsensical.
>Amon's 100% legitimate complaints about non-bender oppression are swept under the rug and not addressed in any serious manner. Being the Avatar, Korra should have been the one to forge a compromise between both sides. At the very least the show could have entertained the idea, even if Korra wasn't up to the task. An average filler episode of ATLA would have handled this conflict better.
>Korra's waterbending means nothing at all, contrasted with Aang's airbending which was essential to his entire character. Not saying that Korra should have been "Aang but water", but you could be forgiven for thinking Korra was a firebender if you didn't already know she was from the Water Tribe.
>the resolution for getting Korra's bending back is a lazy deus ex machina
