Yes. Season 9 has 16 episodes. After the premiere, there will be 12 episodes.
And something extra according to Tom Kenny. He said in July that he and the AT crew were recording a standalone episode. It's very odd, since the finale was recorded in February.

Kent boarded a lot of episodes back in seasons 1 and 2, and has boarded some other episodes throughout the other seasons. Most notable episodes are (imho) His Hero, Mystery Train, Video Makers, Holly Jolly Secrets and Time Sandwich. He's done a lot of Ice King's most important eps in general, and overall he's one of the best writers, at least.
Graham Falk makes all the comfy episodes, like Root Beer Guy, Shh!, Summer Showers and Imaginary Resources.
What I'm saying through my autism is that both of them are really good boarders, and since they joined up their one episode together was fucking fantastic.
