>“Flash Thompson] got to be that hero when he was Venom….but that was everything he’d wanted. And now it’s gone. It was robbed from him. And so, he’s trying to figure out what his role in life is…and where that story goes, I’m not gonna tell you,” teased Executive Editor Nick Lowe.

The only exciting thing about this event is the Superior Foes being on the cover.

I guess Killer Shrike, Looter, and 8-Ball are joining the Superior Foes.
how many times are they gonna fucking do this. its not as impactful after the 5th time

>Dan Slott >Mike Costa
Where's a dumpster to dump this shit in?

>>Cullen Bunn pitched many stories at Marvel for Mania. >>Editors told him no. >>Editors give Slott the go ahead to kill her for Lee to become the "Maniac"
This is as tedious as when Shocker who won the fan vote to be on the Thunderbolts was taken out so that he could be in 5 pages of Slott's Spider-Man with 6 arms and then instantly turn into a giant spider.
Asher Gonzalez
This is just fucking Web of Shadows all over again!
Ryan Nelson
>Slott >Costa >Andi probably being killed off to keep Lee relevant after Bunn tried so many times to convince Marvel to let him do something with her
No thanks.
Luke Bennett
Seriously, it's amazing how much Mania got screwed over. You think with all the young legacies push she would have her own book. Now she's just getting treated like shit.
Christopher Clark
It's because she isn't an obvious legacy character.
Cooper Long
I blame Bendis for this garbage. We could have had a Flash and Mania book.
But Bendis wanted to tell a shitty Symbiote (I mean, Klyntar!) planet story. He didn't even care about Venom after the story was done. No one wanted Spaceknight, not even the writer. But they had to go along with it because of Bendis.
Bendis literally took someone else's Toy, broke it, then passed the broken parts to someone else.
And when the broken pieces didn't sell well enough, they blamed the toy and not Bendis.
The last issue of Spaceknight with Flash and Mania is what the book should have been. And now we'll never get anything like that again.
Thanks, Bendis, you fat bald fuck.
James Martin
I feel like the higher-ups at Marvel found her too problematic to use as a legacy. She's sort of an anti-hero following in the footsteps of a character who's often called a villain.
Pretty much all of the legacy cast have squeaky clean records, so she wouldn't necessarily fit into their plan for promotion.
Justin Nguyen
This sounds awful. Just awful. I did not ask for this.
William Taylor
Sounds okay to me, whether it will be or not is another story
Benjamin Rivera
Agreed.
Julian Hill
>Mania book
That was never going to happen and you know it.
Kevin Myers
Spaceknight was probably a copyright thing with Rom.
