so is she gonna figure out you gotta watch it in the ether and its going to be some beautiful vibrant bug thing and thats how her bloodline becomes friends with the bug psychopomps (maybe psychopomps in general as a first contact sort of thing?)

Maybe. I just hope we get to see them fuck

The bugs?

Would fit with the little scene earlier in the chapter, yep.

Nice. So the court actually killed someone for this, I wonder if they're filming the underage diddling for nefarious purposes.

The court only sends kids out on shit like this to covertly produce exotic teen sex tapes

Gunnerkrigg Court has come to us to choose a marketable name for the Surma/Anthony sex tape. What do we choose?

The robot on fire

Burning Bush and the Man Who Waits

What if there is no real event happening in that precise spot? What if the real event is friendship?

the event is annie

Sounds gay. The real event is the miracle of conception.

>"Surma, come look! It appears the area glows when my pelvis is near."
>"It seems to have gotten brighter as your pelvis approached!"
>"I wonder if wearing pants affects the brightness. Let's find out."

Etc.

But the original plan didn't involve Surma at all so I can't imagine that'd be necessary.

They didn't even receive the plan until after they arrived.

Once Surma was on board the court could easily rescope the objective to observe her talents.

>no more Mort fun time.

WE GET IT THEY FUCK

>All this could have been explained by Anja in one page, so we could move on.

And get more transitioning-into-boyhood-Kat ...

Cold tuna fish BBQ.

I think Kat is the only female character I legit wouldn't mind if she 'identified as a male'.
I know the whole lgbtqaiptfkwtf shit is absolute cancer, but Kat makes for a super cute boy.

Stop appropriating engineering talent from our gender just because it's (((a man's job))) REEEEEEE

>I know the whole lgbtqaiptfkwtf shit is absolute cancer
Every group has assholes. Those I know of are perfectly nice and reasonable people.

I'm not talking about the people, I'm talking about how they are used in media.

when has media ever been about nice and reasonable people?

Iunno, up to about 10-15 years ago?

giving everyone a voice was a mistake

Yes.

>everything was better when I was 8 years old

Nah. You were just not old enough to be aware of all the garbage back then.

>8 years old
Y-yeah, hahaha.
8.
Those were the days h-huh?
T-ten years ago ...
I'm definitely not a much older loser who still lives in his parents' basement! Hahaa!
...
:|

It is always Mort Fun Time, buddy
In even the darkest of times

Media is run by people, so same thing. You got shows and comics that parade it around for attention and then you got that simply have LGBT characters as regular people.

So, what do you guys think?
Trans Kat, yay or nay?

Honestly see her doing the non-binary thing. Her clothes and hair style are very 'boy' but she doesn't act it. She just does what she likes.

theyre there to observe "activity" if this is any indication on how things usually go, the courts probably employing an "all-science, no magic" approach for an inherently magical phenomenon, which clearly isnt working, maybe thisll start their interest in researching the properties of the ether?

wew lad

Yknow, even though I srted this discussion saying I'd have no problem with her going trans ...
If she were to say the words "non binary" in this context, I think it'd irreparably ruin the character.

...

I highly doubt Kat's the type to yell at people for using the wrong pronouns and Tom already avoids specific words like gay and lesbian as is.

She'd just say she doesn't feel like either a girl or boy and would prefer not to be tied down by those two choices.

I knooow.
But .... play with me!
Come ooon, it's fuuun!
Sure, but even then ... I wish she'd just act more and more boyish and wear male clothes, without acknowledging that she 'doesn't fit into the gender binary', you know, like on the cruise.

Perhaps the Court is conducting an elaborate mating program.

I really don't see what the issue about it. There is nothing wrong or any downsides with acknowledging somebody non-binary.

Literally the only people I've seen complain about this stuff seem to be obsessed with there being only two genders out of some sense of sanctity, fear that people will become more tolerant (wut) or simply "just because".

>some sense of sanctity
I guess biology/science is sacred to some, but nah, I just don't want to indulge people living in makebelief.

The 'muh science' ploy really doesn't work when there's research into chromosomes having more than a 0/1 outcome and regardless it doesn't cover the social spectrum.

As for 'makebelief', welcome to culture. Where Hitler brand pink is for girls and boys can't cry. It's all bloody made up.

You can't just say you're a third gender, just like you can't say you're a wolf or a dragon or anything else you're not without having something to back that up.
Kat isn't a furry and she isn't 'between genders'.
The reason why people hate it when creators push these things onto their characters is because that means they turn mentally ill. The creators who are into that stuff don't see it that way, but every normal person does.
That's how you kill a character.

I disagree with you.

>research into chromosomes having more than a 0/1 outcome
This happens in about 0.2% of people (And that is a very conservative number in your favor, including chromosome abnormalities that don't/hardly influence gender at all)
yourgenome.org/facts/what-is-a-chromosome-disorder

>As for 'makebelief'
There have been studies conducted with apes to choose from gendered toys and they strongly support the idea that these things are not in fact societal.
Kat is a scientifically inquisitive person. Don't you think she would disagree with your unscientific ideas?

We're not apes any more though.

Even Tony would know there's a point where you've stopped being 'informative' and just being a dick.

>We're not apes anymore
That's the point of the experiment.

How am I being a dick?
Science is about objective truths.
I'm sorry if it doesn't respect your feelings.

I think the point is we're moving beyond conventions now. It's already technically possible for gay couples to have biological kids by replacing the dna in sperm or an egg. Bodies can be altered with retroviruses. A circuit placed on the skin can 'reprogram' cells into medicine factories with a jolt of electricity.

All sorts of crazy shit is on the horizon and will enable people to be who they want. So all that 'Adam and Eve' shit really starts to sound like some miserable old man saying women belong in the kitchen.

> -t. 27 chromosomes

Yesterday I was trying to find porn of another comic I like and I ran into more of imaa's work.
I wish he wasn't alive anymore.

It's not adam and eve, it's biology.
No matter how much you disfigure your body, male and female brains are very different.
That's the same reason why, yes, women 'belong in the kitchen'. They literally do belong there, because that's what their brains are programmed to do, the same way men belong in the job, in sports and in war. That's how the human brain works and we're at least a century away from changing any of that.

I don't even remember the last time I drew anything of another comic.
I'm sorry if you didn't like it.
Also, I wish I wasn't alive anymore, too.

>male and female brains are very different.
They're structurally the same. I thought an intellectual like you would know that.

That's not even true.
I do know that, without being an intellectual.

And without any research either.

> structurally the same
Is that the nuage feelgood bullshit being pumped through school these days?

You made the claim, you provide the research.
I'm pretty tired of this discussion, I'd rather get back to Gunnerkrigg related stuff.

Of course they're not the same, that's why we have transsexuals, silly.

Can we stop talking about this now and instead talk about how cute Kat is?

pnas.org/content/112/50/15468.abstract

I don't understand how she's so much hotter than her daughter, but she is.

it's because she's dead.

L-Lewd?

Getting pegged by Zimmy! Or Gamma.

Ah, it is because you have bad taste!

Going on an awkward dinner date with Annie!

Facefucking Kat while Paz watches, and cries! And masterbates!

Nice!

Making Annie cry over her daddy issues!

I Got Buggered in the Jungle

Excluding Annie's whole bloodline, who is the sluttiest Gunnerkrigg?

Cookie Monster.

Yeah, I guess ...
But one of the bigger characters?

Kat is hot for manly men like Snake and Eglamore, boys like Alistair, birds like also Alistair, and girls like Paz. Kat will basically fuck anything with a heartbeat so she'll probably also be into Robot, once he gets his cyborg body.

She's pretty big.

The biggest character is probably Lindsey. Or Coyote! Be can be as big as a tree!

True, true, but she's also not very aggressive, sexually.
I think it might be Parley, again ...

Kat is a pure lesbian!

>There is nothing wrong or any downsides with acknowledging somebody non-binary.

sexual dimorphism is the sole basis of gender
we are a sexual species that perpetuates itself through SEX

S E X
E
X

We stopped being wild animals millennia ago and have other goals in life now.

none of which is relevant to sexual reproduction
we are a sexual species

SEEEEEXUALLLL SPECIEEEES.

And sexual reproduction isn't relevant to a full life or even leaving a mark in society any more.

I want to leave a mark on Annie.

I wonder how deep Kat could deepthroat.

Enough to make it look like a third boob.

that's not physically possible.

PazKat lewd

oh bby

Is that what this is?
