ban public funding of "science"

Nuclear.

only nuclear powered geo-engineering will do anything at this point

and how do we get nuclear off the ground and running?

stop companies from destroying the amazonas, invest in green energies / or nuclear energy if need be, as long as it's not the bullshit Germany's doing(they literally replaced nuclear emergy with coal burning plants), cut entire forests and plant new saplings in their place (saplings use up alot more CO2 than grown trees), fund engineering projects which aim to transmute CO2 back into O2 in the Atmosphere or DNA-Engineer Bacteria to do this for us, in a controlled fashion so they don't produce too much O2 of course

and all of that is just off the top of my head, there's probably alot more possibilities

sadly none of this will happen until major cities start falling into the ocean, we're monkeys and we will just keep suspending ourselves in disbelief to this threat which could wipe us out

name please

Turn on the air conditioner

100% thorium atomic USA
0 emissions
there also is not manmade global climate change

Two options:

stop pumping the atmosphere full of co2 and methane.

destroy india and china

thanks. I need to use the restroom now.

Easy, geoengineering:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_engineering

The best process would be marine cloud brightening

Build seawalls and other, better infrastructure.

This, anthropomorphic climate change is a meme, and the same people who insist on its existence actively work against nuclear energy, so its all a farce. Bigly.

stop buying big ag

fuckin burgerland morans

I just read that scientist found a cheap way to convert CO2 into ethanol (ETOH?) at room temp using microscopic copper spikes or some such wizardry.

Full throttle. Find a way to trigger the clathrate gun ahead of schedule, and melt the icecaps.
Flood the coastal cities and dump all the cucks into the boiling ocean.

first we dont assume its a bad thing

who said warmer temps = end of the world?

You can't solve a problem if it doesn't exists user :^)

considering how fabulous these schmucks are at predictions they'd probably destroy us first.

Wind turbines across the east coast

If all the sheep die, what would you fuck?

Exactly how the UN is solving it.

By raising taxes.

Possibly but you are looking at this in the wrong way.

IF environmentalists actually believed there was a real problem they would be shouting to the roof tops that we could cheaply reverse the affects if global warming with geoengineering but you never hear them even mention it. Why? Because they don't give a shit about the environment, they just want a feel good excuse to get more government power, more votes and more economic control.

wind n solar dont work

unreliables

100% thorium atomic does work and 0 emissions
it has manageable waste, unlike uranium reactors

and its safe

lose power, it jsut drains into a runoff tank, stops itself

thorium atomic is the answer to all problems

>how to solve global warming
Move the earth farther from the sun, faggot

There is no stopping it. The Clathrate gun already fired.

Adapt

'Global warming' is misleading considering that jet stream and solar influences have so much of a primary effect on global temperatures that the Earth is currently in a period of cooling due to recent changes.

If you're asking how we solve climate change, it's simple: we can't. It's a natural process that we cannot prevent, control, or even significantly mitigate.

Not only this, but the assertion that there is consensus on the causes or that the 'science is settled' is a fraudulent claim. The assertion that any of a variety of numbers between 90-99% of scientists 'agree' is actually based upon the responses of approximately 1/3 of climate scientists polled. The IPCC is also a highly fraudulent political body that amends and edits scientific journals prior to publication, adjusts and 'corrects' data of measurements to fit projections and trends, and has excluded many stations and data from their analysis.

All you need to know about what the IPCC does to data and how incorrect their projections are can be discovered by taking a cursory glance at satellite data compared to land measurements.

But even if the IPCC were correct and truthful and trustworthy, it doesn't change the fact that CO2 doesn't cause or precede warming - the opposite is true. The global temperature is the trigger for CO2 release, as the oceans contain around 50 times more CO2 than the atmosphere (afterall, the temperature of a liquid and the amount of gas it will release correlate directly). It doesn't matter how much CO2 is above a liquid, the only thing that matters is its temperature.

The greenhouse effect of CO2 is vastly overstated even compared to other greenhouse gases, and CO2 is far more beneficial to plantlife through organic interfaces and the basis of how plants use CO2 than global warmingists will ever admit, but even if this weren't true:
>approximately 4% of atmospheric CO2 is caused by man (anthropogenic)
>other single animal species produce more than man

You do realize that volcanoes produce more CO2 than we could ever put out right?

If we want to stop global warming we have to stop volcanos. Its the only way.

That graph is doctored by climate """"scientists"""". You can easily tell because the 1930s was the hottest decade on record but somehow that's disappeared

Anyone who wants to stop global warming and doesn't want to talk about war with China and India isn't very serious about stopping global warming.

global temperature is the most significant trigger of CO2 release*

Also, bring any of this up to a hack climate scientist and all they'll do is claim that they are part of a majority opinion and attempt to disparage your arguments, even if all you do is ask for a re-evaluation of the science or methodology. Watch any climate science debate and you'll see this. Constant strawman arguments and attacks on people rather than even amusing the idea of re-evaluating their data and methodology (something which is foundational to science).

It's absurd that governments have been taken over by this school of thought. Entire industrial sectors have been destroyed in the developed West all for the purpose of the vague aim of 'lowering emissions' while all that actually happened was that they got exported to other countries. It's madness.

Did I mention stop consuming the junk science propaganda peddled by the globalist elite.

Simple
Everyone leave their fridge open

>stop consuming junk science
>posts junk science

"A new model has allowed experts to predict solar activity with more accuracy than ever before and it suggests that magnetic activity will fall by 60 per cent between 2030 and 2040."

New models don't predict shit until they've predicted it. They're simply a guess.

There is no solving it, all bioshperes are heating up, tis tbe cyclical nature of a planet till it eventually becomes a star and spawns its owns orbital planets. It is what it is, humans will be star travelers long before it becomes too much of a problem. But serious all planets are heating up.

"Stop talking about it." - Morgan Freeman

C02 rises after temperature increases, raising taxes and listening to the global elite will be the death of progress.

scientificamerican.com/article/ice-core-data-help-solve/

not to worry, the antibiotic apocalypse will thin out the species ;^)

We don't.

Global warming is a good thing because the climate not only get hotter but wetter as well. The Greening effect is already visible from space.

Plus even if we marched right back in the stone age, humans only represent 5 Gt of the 295Gt of green house gas emission per year. Most of the green house gas in H^2 O

We are looking at Dagoba, not mad max's world or Venus.

That is assuming that a super eruption or rapid series of volcanic eruptions doesn't send us into an Ice age again.

OK, so you want to know how to arrest global warming without doing harm to humanity and everything else?

It can't be done with our means.

There is volcanic (nuclear) winter which is basically putting particulates into the upper and mid atmosphere in a massive way. That will have the cooling effect but also block light reaching the surface and cause massive near extinction level famine.

There is putting Sulfur compounds in the mid atmosphere, but that produces acid rain that will kill forests, plants, acidify the ocean surface currents.

Only a thousand year Reich would be strong enough to bring about a final solution.

Hold in all your farts.

Kill all the Chinese.

Fuck idiots, we are entering the next ice age cycle

This shit is normal.

stop buying from china?

>Be in the middle of a mini-ice age
>Still whining about muh global climate change hoax

The vast majority of climate change denial published papers come from conservative "think tank" affiliated scientists like the Heartland Institute.

abs.sagepub.com/content/60/3/276

People that deny AGW will go down in history similar to flat earthers, or geocentrist. It has evolved more and more into a contrarian belief system, where that even though presented with over-whelming amount of scientific data, from tens of thousands of independent scientists and researchers worldwide, they continue deny what has essentially become fact.

How do we solve the problem though? There's really not much we can do. There's simply too many humans, and every single one of the nearly 8 billion of them wants an American lifestyle. The only path towards that goal for the vast majority of countries is to simply extract as many resources possible, while destroying their natural resources and burning fossil fuels at an astronomical rate. They won't stop, America and China certainly won't stop because the issue has become so fucking politicized. India is growing and will rapidly close in with China in emissions.

The only way forward is to just prepare for the impacts. Mass migrations, water shortages, conflicts breaking out over resources, that's what's in store for the coming century. Luckily, you and I will probably be long gone by the time these changes impact us. I live in New Orleans, and the city I live in likely won't exist in the next century.

Thorium deserves funding, ironically enough the main opponents to Thorium nuclear are the the nuclear energy companies themselves, who want to maintain their monopolies.

There's just too much money required to restart the research necessary to create these types of reactors, and then the regulations that would go into them would cost billions of dollars to get it started. I wish there was a future for it, maybe countries like China and India can get the ball rolling since there's less regulations on nuclear there.

Nuclear, hydroelectric wind and solar are the future, Nuclear isn't renewable, but it's definitely a way to eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels.
