She's complicit in Mutant genocid

fpbp

I want to ____ Kamala.

They should change her origin
She shouldn't be associated with shithumans.
Mutant wouldn't be possible with NuMarvel.
Something like Spidermans origin, maybe even alter her power a bit.

Marvel pushed her too quickly and she wasn't ready for it

Impregnate.

The "THE EVIL SJWS ARE RUINING MUH COMICS" narrative caught on and now everyone hates everything

>Now complicit in Mutant genocide

Okay, in fairness, the moment that she learned that the mutants were in "do or die" time with extinction immanent, she immediately turned against her own people and worked to destroy the terrigen cloud. Fuck the royal family, obviously, but Kamala gets a pass on this specific issue.

Didn't she call cyclops mutant hitler?

It's almost as if Muslims and Inhumans are unpopular or something.

This is why Kamala is best girl.

That narrative existed before Kamala's book even dropped. It was a bunch of hot air and proved who wasn't actually reading books initially, because Kamala's book was basically just this generic cute teen superhero thing that felt more like a cape version of Family Matters than any progressive diatribe.
But Marvel couldn't let a good thing lie and they had to force Kamala into a bunch of new situations under writers that didn't understand that's why her solo worked, culminating in absolute dogshit like Champions. They made her go full Lisa Simpson, which ironically validated that the EBIL SJW narrative in a big way.

She was fine before, maybe it was too much agenda pushing.

I think it was maybe...i dunno, a interesting piece on how Kamala fits into this world. Where people looked at her differently because she wasn't just "some new hero with powers". She was a kid, a muslim, a woman, etc.

Now Kamala has evolved into a mouthpiece for social injustice. I mean, not that it's a bad thing in some instances but its forced and you can FEEL it being forced.

It certainly doesn't help her teamup book is shit too.

Her sales were tanking as soon as this volume started and the first volume had significantly more Inhuman stuff than this one. Blame Willow for throwing out most of her supporting cast and taking two years to bring back her rogues

They pushed shithumans too much and changed the royal space meta-human royalty thing into alternative mutan bullshit.
I'm okay with her being muslim as log as it isn't mentioned too often or being a too big part of her character.

Thank you.

They took her away from Wilson's attempts at establishing important shit like a rouges gallery and a strong supporting cast for Avengers and Crossover appearances instead of giving the book the room it needed to breathe.

YWN go on a awkward date with Kamala.

Not enough lesbian sex.

S.J.W.'s killed Marvel m8.

>Why doesn't poppa disney stop this mess?

>Introduce a minority legacy character
>Gets popular because she's actually handled well
>So popular that she was seen as important toward the industry
>Part of her charm is accessibility and how she's a teenage street level superhero who idolizes superheroes
>Marvel decides to get her more involved and have her immediately become an Avenger
>Relaunches happen and she's tied to events more often because of her rise in popularity
>Events lower accessibility
>She becomes a political mouthpiece
>Try to catch the same lightning with other titles
>Sales are now shit

cancel

Good thing that I'm also from a muslim family (not really religious) and the age of consent here is 16 (14 under certain circumstances).
Bad thing is she isn't real.

We are not worthy of such perfection.

They only had one tie in. It is Wilson that chose to write this the way it is.

Reminder the sales drop was after the pakistan chapter not the civil war tie in

Civil War was her realizing Carol sucks as a mentor wasn't it?

YWN awkwardly flirt with Kamala.

YWN ask Kamala about her collection of baby Mutant skulls

YWN take Kamala out to dinner.

Marvel wanted to shill the Inhumans HARD.

Since Kamala is the most famous/beloved Inhuman, they decided that she should partake in Inhuman events and support them in the front. To the point that she's helping the Inhumans in a War to genocide Mutants. The idea being that more people will support the genocide of Mutants if the few liked Inhumans support it. The plan backfired as twitter polls show her and the rest of the Inhumans being less liked than the X-Men.

Does Marvel care? Nooooope. They don't care what happens. They will milk Kamala for all she's got til she's dry. Now she's no longer a relatable streetwise heroes. Now she's an Ex-Avenger, leader of teen superhero group, terrorist/enemy of the state, and a soldier who fought for a monarchy against minorities.

>Something like Spidermans origin, maybe even alter her power a bit.

Unless you make it she was bitten by a radioactive gummy bear wouldn't her origin just be Plastic Mans?

Fuck Cyke hope he gets raped by ghosts

YWN hear Kamala recount the time she ripped a Mutant toddler away from its mother's arms while she embiggened her finger in the toddler's skull and made it burst

YWN read Kamala's smutty fanfic aloud in front of her brother and new Sister-in-Law while she desperately tries to get it away from you.

Ultimate kek.

I can only imagine what's going through Wilson's head now she has to unfuck not just the shitpile Waid and Spencer left with her character, but now the entire Captain Marvel legacy because they fucked up so hard with both Carol and Kamala. Maybe some time away from earth and in space with S.W.O.R.D shenanigans will fix them a bit (Though I did like what Stohl was doing with Carol and even toying that the pressure on herself might send her into alcoholism again)
That door's closed for a complete seperation. The best they can do is just separate her from the Inhumans over time and maybe make her origins more related to Carol like she was unknowingly infected with a small does of Kree photons from a young age which interacted with the gas. So she's not an Inhuman or a mutant, the molecular reaction made her body unstable enough to reform but stable enough for her to control it (And if they are making Medusa a villain again, there's a great spot to pull the heel turn when it turns out Kamala was never Inhuman and they abandon her)

>Surprisingly good opening issues
What? I read the first few issues and dropped it because it was so bland.
Seeing how Sup Forums loves the shit out of it I always assumed it got a lot better, but if the opening issues are what you guys hold up as high quality I have to believe the rest of the series is somehow a bigger steaming pile than they were.

>Her class is visiting a toy factory
>There's a giant machine printing plastic superhero toys
>They're using experimental plastic in their toys
>Kamela fall in the one printing Captain Marvel toys
>Gets her powers
>Names herself Miss Marvel in honor of the person who was responsible (albiet in a non direct way) for her having powers

As others have pointed out, she started shitting the bed when everybody started sticking their dirty little fingers into the wacky paki pie. Waid made her an insufferable cunt in Champions, Spencer made her wishy washy in Civil War II, and every writer that plugs her in a crossover book tries to outdo the previous writer in making her a political mouthpiece.

Another reason I find her boring and irritating is that she is a good example of how the status quo and bad editors can fuck up a character. Now I know she has a change of heart in Civil War II when Carol went fascist and she was still a brownnoser. However Secret Empire came and then HydraCap was the real facist and Carol was a good girl all along when she created and commited the same actions/framework HydraCap did (sans blowing up Las Vegas). So she can be a spunky rebel she constantly jumps onto the next bandwagon of plucky hipster cunts (Champions, New Warriors, Carol Youth, etc) so she can brownose someone by being an irreverent fangirl. Then when the hipsters go full cunt she soapboxes and does a heel turn to save face. The first time with Carol was supposed to be endearing, the second time with Inhumans was stupid because she's seen the damage of M-Pox and knows that terrigen kills innocent people in her own book (and crossovers), Secret Warriors had writing on the wall (which she claims to have seen but was too much of a shill to call out until an opening came up to bail like a coward), and considering she's all about being a sudo-silver age hero and not a MurderCarol Expy then the time she spent doing the Red Room shit was just her trying to shack up with Black Widow for brownie points and betraying everything she stood for (until she cries foul via a self-aggrandizing soapbox moment and bails). If it isn't cheesy fangirl bullshit, then it's her acting like Lisa Simpson cranked up to 11 over and over again. She could easily do better if they stopped making her repeat the same mistake 24/7/

I wish I could stick my fingers into that wack paki pie.

Why does nobody talk about the fact that her writer and creator is a mental white woman who converted to islam and created the character to live vicariously through as a pakistani girl from a muslim household

>not being Muslim

Enjoy Hell.

Because not everyone's retarded like you.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that.

She makes the same mistakes again and again and again.

So she essentially becomes plastic man? I like it.

>that one issue when she nuked India

What?

>what went wrong
She's not Robbie, the best legacy hero

India refused to accept her genocide cloud, because of all the Mutants that lived among their populace, so she nuked them into surrendering.

Converted to Islam after reading Dune as commented on by her other self insert which married her other self inserts brother.

hold hands

Well Judge Dredd would approve.

She's a Paki. Pakis and Indians fucking HATE each other.

Anyone else feel like the arcs have been on repeat?
>>Kamala's family troubles
>>New villain who is an corrupt authority appears
>>Social issue, Kamala feels hopeless.
>>Then sort of wins in a brawl in a vague way.

>Touching an unmarried woman
>Not taking her as your bride after
Try not to get blood on your clothes when her old man cuts her arm off.

It's not really that simple, there are plenty of Pakistani celebrities and athletes that a bunch of people in India adore and are huge money makers there.

How is that any different than

>Oh, I'm not racist Denzel Washington is a great actor. I mean I wouldn't let him date my sister but man can act.

Or any musician or comedian or athlete? Entertainers are entertainers, They could be any race they could be a dancing animal on a unicycle, people will pay to see it. All Sup Forums calling people nigger or flipping out over cuck porn or when a white actress is seen standing to close to a black man doesn't get made OK when they say Patrice O'neal is hilarious.

nullify

Hug.
Seriously... I want to hold her very long in my arms.

>What went wrong?

All of the following:

-ANAD relaunches
-Inhumans push
-Marvel repeatedly trying to copy success
-Civil War II

Ignore

she´s doing God´s work

Also

First thing that went wrong was the ANAD relaunch.

Marvel had been repeatedly renumbering titles to get more sales on #1s and trying to push the idea that the number doesn't matter. But by doing so they got the audience used to the idea that they could skip #1s and it wouldn't matter. On top of that they alienated the new audience that came in. Brian Hibbs talked about what happened at his store with the ANAD relaunch:

cbr.com/trouble-on-the-horizon/

>How about the new and young readership? Marvel actually was starting to attract some of them at our stores — books like “Squirrel Girl,” “Ms. Marvel” and the Jane Foster “Thor” title were racking solid sales for us outside of the “traditional” Marvel customer. But that new/younger readership? They literally don’t understand why you would start a book over again at #1. It makes no sense to them! And that confusion appears to have shooed a number of them off. In an equivalent sales period, our sales of the first issues of all of those series are actually below (dramatically so in the case of “Thor!”) the final issues of the “old series” — which was only on issue #8 for two of the three! But readers appear to be treating the relaunches as simply “issue #9.” That’s not typical consumer behavior.

>And I hear similar things from many other retailers — the “word on the street” from a wide swath of stores is that a vast indifference has begun to creep in among the readers of superhero comics, and that this miasma is softening the 4th quarter enough to potentially threaten these stores. This is scary because an enormous amount of stores in the market don’t really have a fall-back position from “we sell superhero comics.” As the old saying goes “They carry both kinds of comics: Marvel and DC!” Which puts you in a bad position if both companies are underperforming at the same time.

I went through this thread looking for the usual "nothing is wrong" response but all I see is unanimous agreement that her comic got fucked up. Where did all the contrarians go?

At the 130th slot in comic book sales.
