I discovered Endtown today and have been reading it non-stop.
Something gives me the feeling that I should probably stop now. Is this guy as big of a mary sue self insert as it feels right now? The author's name is even Aaron, I have a bad feeling about this.
Landon Johnson
It gets worse, and then it gets much worse. Personally I dropped the comic because of Marx.
Eli Phillips
He's a pretty much a Deus Ex. He doesn't show up for a while after this event ends, then shows up at the end of the arc just to say a thing or two
Jason Lee
you should go to the /trash/ thread where the fanbase actually is
Nathaniel Stewart
Flask's backstory was pretty neat, why'd it have to be ruined by this shit?
Oh god it's only getting worse as I keep reading.
Sebastian Powell
That's just the tip of the shitberg.
Henry Gray
It's a shame I really liked the story up until he showed up.
At least this Koala arc is good.
Ayden Powell
The further in you go, the more you'll wish that Marx was the worst thing in the comic. There's so, so much more that happens that will make you wish you never actually started reading Endtown, because it'll hurt so much to see something that once had such high quality writing so consistently get worse, and worse, and worse.
Ryder Green
People dropped it because their rat waifu lost.
Matthew King
Holly lost?
I'm dropping it now
Nathan Gray
What is this furry nonsense?
Take it to Sup Forums
Henry Jenkins
I remember this series getting talked about all the time. Then it fell of the face of the Earth.
Liam Murphy
The waifu wars ruined everything about the old Endtown threads. Which sucks because the current arc is pretty good, but nobody wants to discuss it after Holly fucked off into space and Kirbee won the Wallybowl.
Grayson Kelly
>yfw four other metaspecies
Tyler Smith
Did it get permabanned to trash? I just assumed it went on hiatus since threads were up here 24/7. Why the change?
Christopher Thomas
Sup Forums is shit for discussion and /trash/ is free. Head over.
Colton Fisher
Keep reading, NIGGER, and don't listen to what Sup Forums tells you to think of it.
Levi Evans
When this dude shows up in his imagination balloon is definitely where the comic 'jumps the shark.' It goes down in quality from here. By all means though, read on anyways.
Owen White
The current arc is pretty good.
Marx is a hack but it gets better.
Julian Cook
This isn't 2008, fuck off.
Angel Green
Fuck YOU.
Jason Mitchell
The only reason there were that many posts was because of waifuwars, Sup Forums burnt out after the boat, there's no one posting in the occasional Sup Forums update thread. The only people interested in discussing it take a trip to /trash/.
Ayden Lee
they simply left whining about fursecution because they couldn't post their precious porn saty away from /trash/
Jacob Wilson
>bashing on tradition
Juan Johnson
Stop that. Discussion threads about a webcomic are not off topic to Sup Forums. /trash/ is not just a dumping ground for things you don't like. Just hide the fucking thread and move on if you don't want to talk about something.
Charles Edwards
To be honest, even if you didn't care about Holly, that story arc was fucking stupid. Everyone acting out of character, it dragged on forever, and it was topped off with everyone's least favourite reality bender ranting about nobody liking the story. Honestly think it wouldn't have even been as poorly received had he just held back on the waifu war side of it because the most uncomfortable part of that arc was Wally and Kirbee just constantly making out everywhere while ignoring the mental breakdown Holly was having.
Nathan Price
At least current arc is interesting.
Dylan Thomas
You haven't reached the best arc (the milk trial) yet, so keep going.
Henry Martinez
No I think he means the mods obliterate the threads often if you put them here in Sup Forums. Only Poppy O'Possum and Critter Coven seemed to get a pass
Evan Myers
The current arc is pretty interesting. I find the more 'realistic' bits to be better. Brings out stronger emotion. The Milk Trial and this current arc deal with the fallout of the transformations and how people try to adapt to them.
Jayden Kelly
Yeah pretty much. Bunch of butthurt hollyfags in this thread
Dominic Gonzalez
The milk trial is pretty good so far. I didn't mind the more scifi stuff but Marx was a step too far.
Brody Rodriguez
It stays pretty good for a while after, despite Aaron. But yeah it eventually turns into long drawn out shipping wars, sadly.
Colton Watson
If we can have Anime threads about Neo Yokio, we can discuss a Web comic. Sorry that hurts your feelings, tho.
Sebastian Wood
Yeah.
The Milk Trial is worth a read but leave when he shows up again, the comic devolves into some weird anti-democracy rant where nanites are really important you guys.
Jaxon Wood
Milk Trial, then Unity Arc is pretty good and after Unity we get the downward spiral. Worst part is Aaron planned a Bad End for Holly from the get-go, but Kirbee was a spontaneous decision, which made what was already bad into shipping wars
David Brown
I still think Holly being unable to cope with the circumstances was a good choice for an ending but the method Aaron rid her from the comic was poor. It was insanely wishy washy and half assed.
He should have kept the original bleak ending where she kills herself and held off on hooking Wally up again until after this narrative trip back to Endtown to give the situation more breathing room.
Owen Smith
There's a lot of cucking going on in this story.
And now that Unity is over Marx is back, in kid form
hrm
Elijah Lee
Kirbee is and always will be best girl.
Anthony Watson
Did Aaron steal Marx from Nelvana?
Grayson Sullivan
A joke told for tradition's sake isn't a very funny joke.
Lucas Williams
Neo Yokio was created by a british guy. Animated in Japan, paid for my an american
Nicholas Barnes
I genuinely stopped reading after that point. I liked the character and how it interacted with the story, the downward spiral felt uncalled for and the end of the arc anti-climatic. Her getting replaced so quickly by a lizard we barely know anything about was a slap to the face.
Im still supporting aaron through patreon though, I just want the story to advance a bit more, hopefully get a proper end to wally/holly story.
Dylan Richardson
Marx is annoying but he comes and goes and is gone more than he's there.
Benjamin Walker
I think I dropped it around when Holly said fuck u I'ma live in imaginary land
Anything cool happen after?
Chase Russell
no sorry. It's in a pretty crap and not to mention slow spot
Oliver Cook
The current arc is TERRIBLE.
I don't even know why I'm still reading at this point.
Masochism?
Adam Martinez
>Anything cool happen after? Current arc might be interesting, but I think it's probably gonna be a better read all at once rather than bit by bit
Ryan Foster
kek there's one hell of a divide going on
will put it back on the list
Kevin Anderson
Current story's kind of slow and dull, honestly. But probably because I don't really care about any of the characters. It's an Endtown arc about blacks- I mean wolves starting a wolf power movement that has everyone else turning against them. And some sort of cannibalism/fear-induced hysteria thing about a fake food shortage that will probably be linked in the end.
Kevin Lee
Probably. I'm still reading it to see Dottie's character get fully destroyed since that seems to be the arc's current goal. It's like watching a train crash. Sure it was a glorious and wonderful train but there's something sublime in seeing something you liked crash and burn so horribly.
Liam Fisher
Brick horse
Caleb Rodriguez
>I'm still reading it to see Dottie's character get fully destroyed since that seems to be the arc's current goal Her character did a complete180 at the riot. I've been enjoying the arc so far but, that still bugs me.
