Liberals want basic income to offset robot disruption of the marketplace. Essentially welfare on steroids … creating an even larger, dumbed down, class of zombies.

What do conservatives propose?

Space.

Nothing.
They are totally cucked by business.

Work

We need to train blue collars in new work like robot maintenance etc. Luddites always resist change, but we have to change if we are to progress.

No they don't, the defunded NASA and most of our unmanned space programs

Welfare is a scam to create a bigger government that can pass more and more money around so officials can dip into the piggy bank more often.
Either eliminate non vital welfare or eliminate the capitalist system of government. Because if you don't you can say goodbye to the middle class.

They're cucked by protestant work ethic and not understanding that a HUGE country like the US is going to have to change its economic focus to keep people at solid employment levels going forward.

For what used to be done by 100 guys in a factory will now be done by 20 guys maintaining the robits who do that work instead.

And, since modular-robotics is the name of the game, we don't even need to build multiple factories for as many products: 1 factory can be adjusted to make several different products these days.

This guy knows whats up.
Luddites and know-nothing-laborers get out of my future, REEEEEE

The true conservative solution is nationalization of part of every company in the USA. We then take the profits from the public share and spread it to the people.

Self reliance.

>Luddites always resist change
nbo one is resisting. People just want to reform our society so the transitioning period is smother. You dumb fucks want to sit on your asses and expect things to fall on your lap.

>We need to train blue collars in new work like robot maintenance
If automation would replace low paid work with skilled work in similar numbers, then what would be the point of automation?

>Essentially welfare on steroids
You stupid fucks know that border control is essentially welfare?

but gibsmedats, obviously this will work. everyone with mechanized factories that require minimal labor inputs will stay in the US and pay ludacris taxes to support this.

the private space sector is doing just fine commie jew

If a Programmer can explain how to do your job with a few lines of code, it's at risk of being replaced by robots.

Also, let's say that, for every ten jobs we lose, we gain one maintaining the robot. That's good, right? Math?

Muh' Utopia!

youtube.com/watch?v=0Z760XNy4VM

>maintaining the robot

Robot management courses.

A fully automated factory will become as common place as a personal home office. The means of production will have been given to the people.

Mind you, if the goverment doesn't regulate the shit out of it.... Like it's done to every other enterprise.

>The means of production will have been given to the people.
Tell me how that has ever happened.

That was only one example I just mean than unskilled workers need to be moved to new job areas, instead of just keepin the system the way it is for "muh jobs"

conservatives aren't btfo about robots. They already work in the places that are supposedly pending robot employees.

If you think truckers are not going to be inside a semi, you give nogs a lot of credit -- and goods. I don't get why they don't say robots will replace fedex or ups drivers. they're the same on a smaller scale. I do know why, people understand why a human would still deliver packages, or mail. They don't know enough about trucking.

Truckers can look forward to a better autopilot that might even be able to navigate the highway junctions in low traffic. Too much liability in leaving it to a computer.

I don't know what conservatives propose. But I do know people worried about robots are retarded liberals who do work that a computer programmer can automate. What is spellcheck and autocomplete? What is a self checkout kiosk?

I just told you. Personal, easy to command robots, will give people the means and manpower to take on projects which were once reserved for the very wealthy and connected.

You used to need to be rich to run a newspaper and get information to people.... Now people post their own bullshit daily for thousands to see.

Get back to work you fucking deadbeat. There's sixteen Mexicans waiting outside for your job.

>than unskilled workers need to be moved to new job areas
this will not happen. You can't expect that a 50 year old low skilled worker will be competitive in programming job market.

What to do with this people?

How do you know I'm not a dirty mexican, or a master-race robot?

That's the thing. The value of anything is always based on human work. So what's the point of replacing perfectly capable man with machines?
Let the free market decided what's the best but it's dangerous when you combine it with thing like minimal wage.

Eliminate government regulation and welfare
Without those the unemployment rate would be near zero

A universal income could work fairly well. Give every legal American x amout of dollars a year. Abolish all other gib me dats and it could be a win/win. Section 8, welfare and unemployment insurance would all be included. It would also remove the abuse in the current system.

I was responding to OPs question you filthy robotic beaner.

Owning guns, so when the 1% decide to phase out humanity and replace everyone but their sex slaves with robots, we'll be able to fight back instead of meekly submitting then being herded into the bio-reclamation tanks.

This is the only answer. It has to start now.

It won't happen.

The elites will make sure of that.

They'll just corral us all into cities before they systematically gas the populace.

How about we do away with our ridiculous factories that produce more than they are able to ever sell and bring back specialized workshops and craftsmen.

>What do conservatives propose?

It doesn't matter. What matter is what the Singleton proposes. Nothing more, nothing less.

>"The value of anything is based on human work"

Labour theory of value detected

Out commie scum!

>border control is essentially welfare

>more than they are able to ever sell
This is retarded
The only thing holding back demand is price

>Not an argument
Also your theories are unfamiliar to me.

Then that new job gets replaced. The unskilled retrains, boom, new job replaced. It won't end

That's why OP's idea is an actual way to solve this problem, using tax dollars for a fixed income for just being a citizen.

What else is there? Redpill me on the origins of value dreamwalker.

natural resources
Also define labor commies tend to leave out management

how about an income of zero dollars if you're not working?

we propose that you idiot. it's liberals that demand we pay mongoloid tier workers who can easily be replaced $15 an hour to take a fucking fast food order

>mfw robots are forced to pay taxes to support niggers to do anything but pick cotton

What do you do? Because I can guarantee that job will be outmoded inside of 20 years.

Are you blind to the massive reeducation movement that is literally happening right now as people find their own jobs disappearing? Or have you just not realized that student debt will kill this country?

Yes but don't those resources have to be extracted and processed? Oil don't pump itself.

Friedman proposed UBI. The quintessential capitalist. So UBI. It makes sense.

>Find a stone
>Worth shit because everybody can find one without effort

>Find a jewel
>Worth more because it's hard to find and requires a lot of effort and mining

>A lot of stone is worth a lot
>Because it take a lot of effort to collect a lot of nothing

>Trade a tone of stone for a jewel

Need more?

What he said

As soon as robots can provide our basic needs for free, our economy and way of living as a mammal will require a new spectrum. Either we find this new spectrum or our species will be done for in just a few generations.

It isn't robots, but rather the wages will be given over to the owner unless protections are employed. Otherwise the robot has no rights.

Why shouldn't we trust (((Milton Friedman)))? I'm sure he has our best interests at heart.

Throw the jew down the well.

>What do conservatives propose?

Evolve with the times or die in a ditch. No seriously, if you arent a productive member of society any longer, you shouldnt be a part of that society. Im looking at you 67+ Social Security vampires

Resources in the ground still have value
Land has value

Points at a generation of millennials.

Those resources can already to be taken legally by the government. Happens all the time with eminent domain.

Potential value, sure, but not actualized value. I'm not sure that it's black and white.

And?
What does that have to do with labor value theory?

figure it out from this
untill boston dynamics builds a human, that can do complex shit, i'm good. Not that I'm going to have the same job in 20 years, because I'm not an average IQ joe.

A tree producing fruit is actual value

that's right little lady, there's nothing average about you.

Robots won't be replacing jobs for at least a few decades. They're already in a lot of places. When a company decides they want to automate something, they don't fire half of their workforce. They may lay off a few people, but by and large they'll just shuffle people around and make them do other jobs or have those people be operators.

Agreed, but it takes labour to prune and harvest. Even more value can be had by planting an orchard.

yes, it's welfare for the lower classes.

If you can't understand this, too bad

Your proposed solution results in the masses of unskilled workers destroying the country out of desperation.

When automation has reached a sufficient level people will need to be handed out enough for their bread and circuses. The cost of not doing so is much greater.

Sounds like a globalists wet dream, but we would need to drastically reduce the population for this to work.
Wait a minute.

We know that the chinese are laying of thousands in smartphone production just like in most manufacturing jobs elsewhere.

We just let them die in the streets, any new crime caused by mass poverty can be solved by violence.

The government can take it from you is my point. Your land may have value, and so do the resources under it but if the powers that be decide that it is better their hands than yours, well, you are going to lose that battle.

That's already on its way though, and not just with BD. Several other companies are pushing into the same market for the same reason. Also, you work at Costco?

Trees grow in nature
There are pick your own fruit orchards

>Somebody claims something
>Demands something in return
>Trade something with equal value
>Put in work ( Exploit )
>Create value trough your work

Claiming something requires some work to. First you must find it and then be able to enforce your rule.
If not for governing bodies without guns nobody would respect it.

Creativity is a frontier that robots can't traverse. Also tactile talent like playing organic instruments such as guitars and harps.

Regulations on the tasks robots perform.

If the task is something a person cannot do, a robot can be used. If they are using robots to cut costs on labor (brick layers, construction workers, sheet metal workers, carpenters etc..) it won't be permitted. Robots should only perform tasks that they can competently perform, where a person would be in grave danger. Luddite party 2016 (srs its gonna get bad bros, especially if we don't have an immigration system or sovereignty).

This, sounds like a good idea. Untill you realize that the "upper class" will still exist, that those will still band together, and that they, too, will largely exclude the lower middle-class from their thoughts.

Incorrect. In that meme video that gets posted everywhere there are already algorithms that create music. He even uses a song created by said algorithm as the accompanying music in the vid. Further, there are bands that have been using bots to (albeit shittly) play music for decades. And this is a terrible argument on the whole. What's everyone going to do? Play the pan flute?

Basic income makes sense in the case of large scale automation.

As of right now however, it is still totally possibly to get a job. Basic income is not needed.

However once retail and food work are rarely controlled by humans, we may instate basic income.

>Claiming something requires some work to. First you must find it and then be able to enforce your rule.
What if everyone else was dead?

Well what they are doing over here ATM is implementing a "work for your benefits" scheme where unemployed people do certain amount of work like painting fences, cutting park grass etc. and then they get their job seekers allowance.

Poor people complained calling it slave labour

That will never work because the required population is always going to be a percent of the total population. If you kill off everyone whos unnecessary your requirements will drop dramatically and a bunch of previously necessary people will now be unnecessary.

There is no way to get around this. You either have to accept that most people will not need to work, or you accept human extinction.

Those trees in the orchard didn't plant themselves lad. I'm just saying it's not black and white. A fish in the river isn't dinner without some effort.

>What do conservatives propose?

We already lost. Welfare people, who live off of the "free" tax money have EQUAL say to the tax-payers on how much tax is collected and how it is distributed. Welfare recipients will ALWAYS vote to increase the amount of taxes and that MORE of it be sent their way. This is 100% insanity and will EVENTUALLY destroy any economy that runs like this.

Human ownership of robots.

You have a robot slave to do your job for you, and you get paid for it.

I don't need robot slave
I want to be a robot myself
>no need to shave my fucking beard every day
>can have any body type
>immortal
>can't feel pain
>strong af
>no need for sex or masturbation
List goes on forever

The thing is you have to structure society to be ready for this before it actually happens if you want to avoid massive chaos when it does.

Impossible to replace truckers with robots here. You need one armed guard at least with every truck. Robot trucks will get robbed so much here there would be nothing getting to distributors. I can imagine the googles will start knocking the trucks too in the USA

Then who are you going to trade with?
You don't care about it's value.

You know I like this. However, how will a poor human get a robot? Loans? Isn't that just giving more power to the (((bankers)))?

Enjoy paying reparations when the robots get uppity.

>forcing business to be less productive and people to work instead of enjoying the NEET life

kys

There are many areas where humans will remain superior.

Robots don't even have a drive to exist. There is no quality of life for them to have any will to be alive.

If we fail against the cultural marxists elements on immigration we are fucked though.

They will give free training and have a better chance of employment to people who aren't men or white.

>muh progress

Its fucked over a good number of people over the centuries, and may have irreversibly destroyed the ecosystem. What are we progressing towards? Anything tangible?

how to make basic income work
1. automate off coast, under water farming
2. increase nuclear power
3. kill all niggers muslims and jews
4. pay everyone else a basic income to fight the insectoid army that destroyed buenos aries

Implement: if you receive welfare, you can't vote.

>Then who are you going to trade with?
You don't need to trade you consume
>You don't care about it's value.
I would rather have more goods than less

>There are many areas where humans will remain superior.
This is absolutely false. Some areas will remain human dominated for a long time, but there is no reason to think robots wont eventually be able to perform all functions.

Put an armed robot in the truck. Make them look like terminators

Ideally, the singularity. In reality, serfdom (again).

It's either that or a class system based on your contribution to society and base rights such as housing, food and entertainment being grated to everyone.
Either way the current system cannot survive unless you want massive civil unrest, there are not enough jobs for everyone and that's it.

Convoys prevent this.

Imagine a convoy of automated vehicles being followed by another automated vehicle. You can also prevent hijacking by low level criminals by removing any sort of steering implement in the carriage. Further, it isn't like you can pull off this shit in broad daylight. Someone will call the cops who in turn also calls the truck owners who in turn works with the police. And any sort of anti-intruder alarm attached to GPS would do amazingly well at warding off people from trying to hijack the shit in the back.

Robots can't do degrading porn
