The X Parasites are unleashed in the world of the last cartoon you watched. How fucked is it?

The X Parasites are unleashed in the world of the last cartoon you watched. How fucked is it?

Isn't any universe without Metoids in it fucked?

>Don't know what X-Parasites are
>Look it up

Soo...?

basically

depends, metroids feed off of energy and shit, so if you can find some sort of metroid equivalent, or something or someone with a powerset similar to metroids, they might be ok.

i mean, the worlds of Sup Forums are full of people who have superpowers out the ass, surely we can find some superpower that can take down these parasites

X is actually way worse because realistically there's no way to kill them unless you've got a Metroid, the infection process is generally instant, and they aren't vulnerable to cold OR heat. They multiply easily and keep knowledge they obtained from previous possessions.

>Milo Murphy
Oh boy

Fucking Chozo man.

Aeon didn't make X. X were native to SR388. Aeon just made Metroids evolve out of control.

...

>WE'RE GENIUSES!

I domnt know who's crazier,
Space "phazon: apply directly to the bioform!" Pirates
or
"let's create an unstoppable super predator to combat this other unstoppable super predator" chozo

Well at least it seems the Chozo warriors dealt with those fuckers making shit worse and worse.

In fairness the Metroids were tame around the Chozo before they mutated. The plan was working perfectly. Pirates snort Phazon like cocaine knowing full well that they have no idea what will happen and then explode sometimes.

>Steven universe
The gems could be immune to them since their not organic

No, that's the beautiful part. When wintertime rolls around, the gorillas simply freeze to death.

I don't know, the X recreated Samus AND her full power suit, that's just a step or two from infecting gems. Steven would be the stepping stone.

thats because there's weird organic dna fuckery going on with the suit. basically, the SAX is just a clone of samus, wearing the power suit.

That's the entire plot of Metroid yeah.

The creators themselves said that Metroid Fusion is basically Alien 4 and The Thing. Hell, even at the end of Metroid Fusion SA-X turns into a gross amalgamation of all the DNA it has absorbed

Didn't they have her armor parts lying around from the surgery where they had to hack them off? Doesn't account for how there were five more SA-X's running around the station but that's where they got the first one, they didn;t just synthesize the Chozo armor parts out of thin air. Except they did.

The armor parts had X goop on them which made an organic Samus clone inside the armor thus bringing the X parasites from SR388 to BSL space station in first place as seen in the intro, go fuck yourself Game Theory. But later we find out that the SA-X has now cloned itself into 10 clones. Why?
Because 1, her armor is part of her, technically part metal and part biological because alien bird technology space magic, or 2, same reason why The Thing could replicate clothes in the movie or the scientist's clothes in Metroid Fusion.

>Thomas the Tank Engine
There is going to be so much confusion and delay.

But that doesn't make sense. The X wouldn't be able to replicate the inorganic parts of the armor. And frankly the Thing shouldn't be able to make the synthetic materials in the coats it replicates but I suspect it's one of those "please don't think about this too much" things.

...

>Transformers Animated
Can X absorb Cybertronians?

Are they purely machine life-forms or is there anything organic about them?

No they wouldn't. But if Samus armor is part of her then the X could do it technically getting her powerups in the process. Or if we assume the SA-X clones armor is now completely 100% organic imitation of her armor, like hardened cells or some shit. But that would also mean that the clothes of copied humans would likely be organic too (don't worry, i too got very confused playing it as an 11 year old for the first time)
The security robot got infected only because the core was a brain

>metroids feed off of energy and shit
metroid were biologically designed to combat the X parasite, with no known other weakness, so there isn't any other universe besides Metroid or Kid Icarus that might be ok

That's also why Samus can get the powerups from the X-Cores too. She is not upgrading her armor, she is altering her DNA. Remember the speedy water dragon (Serris) which was an animal that could blaze at great speed? The X absorbed it's DNA, melted the host, made a clone of itself and could now speed through as a copied animal. Now Samus kills the cloned Serris which has the DNA of the original host, both have the ability to run fast, now Samus absorb the X-Core which contain the DNA of the Serris host, now giving her that ability to run fast.
I mean come on, the first boss can naturally turn into a ball. That's not her suit she upgrades, she herself now get that part if it's DNA.

The difference between Chozo and Pirates:
>Dude command is gonna be so mad we snorted all that Phazon and Greg turned into a pulsing tentacle mass
>New message from command, "Did you try directly injecting into your brains?"

VS

>Dude command is gonna be so mad we didn't account for the Metroids being mutated by Aeon and getting our warriors killed
>(Entire science team summarily executed by command)

They SAY they're machine life forms, but considering how easily they fuse with organic material (see Blackarachnia, Waspinator and Sari) I'd say there's SOMETHING less then purely mechanical about them

>>(Entire science team summarily executed by command)
Not when they see how good they did SCIENCE

If I recall the plot of Fusion correctly, the X parasite didn't replicate the suit. When Samus was infected, the federation removed the Varia upgrades. The X cloned Samus and the organic bits of the suit, while the inorganic bits were just the parts themselves, giving it a fully functional Varia Suit. Samus kept her normal suit, which they couldn't remove because it was fully infected and transformed into the newly dubbed Fusion suit.

>Rick and Morty

Could Rick invent Metroids in time so that the human race can be killed by Metroids instead of X?

Is Reginald a Chozo?

Samus points out how everyone is a sexist then the audience claps so hard the x parasite dies

You are completely correct.
Only problem is that later in the game it is revealed that the SA-X have made nine more clones of itself which is retarded because that would imply that the metal parts was clones somehow.

>Memekariot
>mole

Luminoth>>>>>>Space Pirates>everything else

...

Name ten times they injected something into crazy parasites

...

>Luminoth
>lost a war against angry shadow puppets

They are space moths, what do you expect?

every time

Those were the worst kind of shadow puppets, and at least they are not completely extinct, unlike certain feathered race that got annihilated by their own creation.

The only explanation I can think of is that the clones somehow built the Varia upgrades themselves. Like, the clones assimilated tech from the station and made bootleg Varia upgrades for their incomplete clone suits. Dumb theory, the station shouldn't have anything on the Chozo's level, but it sort of makes sense if you believe the techno-organic parts of the suit are where most of the suit's power comes from.

The Chozo never intended for the Metroid to leave SR388, while the Space Pirates wanted Phazon to spread, so there's that.

I like that but no. Samus's suit is the only one left from the entire Chozo civilization. Screw Attack being peak technology that you specifically need the suit for.

>Reginald Chozos
everything makes more sense now.

Chozo aren't extinct, they left the galaxy. Bascially leaves the door open for possible Chozo in a future game (which I suspect will now happen after SR).

>Watching Arthur with young niece
Game over, man.

>got annihilated by their own creation
To be fair, they got fucked by the Space Pirates who used Metroids against them.

>Chozo aren't extinct, they left the galaxy
They did? Where was that mentioned? I haven't played the Prime series in a long time.

>Miraculous
Well, they're fucked. Also being assimilated/replaces by an alien doppelganger would look right at home next to all the corruption shit going on in that show.
Now I'm imagining a blank-eyed Ladybug-X tracking Chat Noir down and beating the shit out of him.

X parasites are essentially the body snatchers, and I think the people of South Park have been through worse.

I thought the X were a product of the reaction the planet had to the chozo, like a disease of some sort.

Chozos never visited SR388. The X parasites evolved naturally on the planet. The Chozo DID eventually visit the planet, after they discovered the X parasites on it. They had to build the lab in which to make the Metroids in on SR388.

It's interesting that in the metroid universe intelligence appears to be inversely related to wisdom in literally every single creature

still a little upset he stopped doing porn in favor of cheeescake.

Explain why there were 10 of those fuckers running around in the endgame then.

Joining the science division causes you to lose your common sense.

Could the X be killed with force that could destroy a planet? They crashed
the space station into SR388 to kill off the infestation.

And didn't they clone the mechanical parts of Nightmare and that other boss robot?

I'm also willing to bet the space pirates have a machine that actively removes all self-preservation instincts
it would explain so very very much

>These X-Parasites must be stopped, no matter the cost.

They didnt just crash bsl into sr388. The crash and explosion was powerful enough to change the planets orbit and eventually cause it to get swallowed by its star.

I know it's been said before but Samus' genetic code must be fucking horrifying with all the tampering she's undergone over the years. She looks like a normal hot chick, then some federation scientist slips a blood sample of hers under the microscope and next thing you know he's screaming what the fuck are you and running in terror. Then her blood sample activates the lab's self-destruct sequences and oozes out the window to safety.

Sakamoto said the Metroid and X DNA was purged from her system at the end of Fusion.

All that shit is undone at the end of Fusion. Samus returns to normal.

In Samus Returns' Chozo Memories unlockables, it's shown that a warrior caste of Chozo were appalled at the scholarly faction of Chozos creating a life form as terrifying as the Metroids. The warriors slaughtered them before leaving SR388. I suspect that the scholars attempted to explain the X-Parasites problem, but the warriors were hearing none of it. Where the warriors went afterward is unknown, but they are potentially still out there.

Remember, the Chozo society was once nothing but warriors. As the race aged, it took up knowledge and tried to keep in balance with its old traditions. It seems there was a faction within the Chozo that were not keen on the scholarly direction their race was taking, and became little bitches and fucked everything up for everyone else.

an average episode of south park

Sakamoto long said the Sa-X restored her DNA to normal so she could kill the Omega. Her getting the Ice Beam back was meant to show that.

I said we're rearranging your shithole

w-what

>X-parasites
You mean.. ?

Yes.

>the amazing world of gumball
nothing really changes I guess.

What's with the recent Metroid threads being made on Sup Forums? Not that I'm complaining.

New Metroid came out recently. It's actually not shit and it's reinvigorated interest in the series.

>Korra

Maybe she could energy bend the shit out of them?

>Ed Edd n Eddy
Laugh Ed Laugh

Also, the new game clears up all the confusion whether prime trilogy is canon or not after all those years by having Proteus Ridley as the final boss.

Sakamoto also said they're canon and his games lack of referencing them is because he granted plot freedom for Retro and only occasionally glanced in to make sure "they were preserving the essence of Metroid"

In other words, he made sure Retro's vision of Metroid didn't contradict his own. Sakamoto had to shoot down some of Retro's ideas, like not letting them play up the bounty hunter parts by having Samus actually hunt creatures for money as a gameplay mechanic (because "bounty hunter" is just a space superhero to him and not like a Boba Fett-styled mercenary).

Haven't played Fusion in a while but I remember those little shits infected a computer and started using a weapon upgrade intended for Samus.

Then Samus murders it, absorbs it, and gained access to the weapon.

Y-yes?

Is that Unit 01?

>Bojack

I mean, it's basically just earth so yeah they fucked

I thought it was just a military coup usurping the seemingly incompetent elders

i think you might be projecting your military fanboyism onto the chozo

underrated post

I don't watch many cartoons anymore, so fuck that rule.

I think the Kyurangers could handle the X Parasites, their whole deal is taking on space bullshit. Plus space magic.

>12 rangers
What the fuck does the Megazord look like

...

>just a bunch of balls
everytime

Sauce me senpai

Thats the combo of all 12 Kyutama's, and not necessarily the Voyagers (their individual mechs)
This one is before the main 11 Voyagers combine together with Houou Soldier's Gigant Houou, so it really prevents a giant clusterfuck.

And this is Gigant Houou.

Wait, my mistake, that isn't the whole main team, it's missing four of the Voyagers.

How would he deal with the X?

they arent even trying to use the zodiac right?
anyways, i loved the concept of this thing.

Invite them into him, to experience transcendence.
They'd be fucking horrified of his memories and knowledge, and self-destruct. And I'm sure he'd somehow rematerialize in the world again, or something.
