Seriously, fuck Disney. "Fungus Among Us" would've been that much better had they not spoiled the surprise ending. We already knew the PnF crossover was happening next year, so simply advertising this episode as an epic season finale with the return of the Pistachions and having Doof show up out of nowhere would've been a well-executed mindblow to the audience.

I was going to disagree with you, but then I realized that The Next Generation, Enterprise, and Discovery are all rightfully called spin offs of Star Trek, but they didn't actually spin out of a specific episode (unlike DS9 or voyager, or if Mission: Earth had been successful)
