only if I get lazer nipples and chainsaw hands

>not putting your brain in a robot body

If they could somehow confirm that I'd keep my consciousness and the robot wouldn't just be mimicking me, hell fucking yes. If not, I'd at least do it while I'm on my death bed.

My human body is a garbage pile so yeah.
Of course a lot of my problems would probably be easy to replicate in a robot body and that's one of my worst fears so maybe death would be better.

BZZZZZZZ

Depends on how good the robot body is at emulating the human one. If I'm a brain connected to a toaster, fuck that, but if it's got full sensory range and I can customize it to whatever I want, fuck yes.

I don't get this concept.

What exactly is preventing the brain from eventually degrading?

To play kingdom hearts 666 final galaxy simple and clean: HD redux remastered edition featuring dante from the DMC series

I'd put my dick in a robot booty

Sure, but it has to be a loli robot

I forgot Roll is a loli

Green brain juice nibba
Dont you watch cartoons?

You must have been playing battle network or any of the games where roll isn't a loli like legends too much

Vinegar? Embalming fluid? Special sci-fi sauce? What they used in new vegas Old World Blues?

Actually I forgot the Megaman series existed. I'm a terrible user.

I can't blame you since capcom wants to pretend megaman doesn't exist either

capcom sandbagged legends so hard that they tricked people into playing a beta version of legends 3 just to cancel it

Only if I still have all 5 senses

By locking him in the deepest, darkest dungeon and try to force Ryu's microcock down everyone's throats?

No

All capcom does is porting the games to newer consoles or do a compilation of the games. The most recent original thing for megaman was putting him into smash bros

>pickled brain

Oh, sorry. I immediately assumed the brain would be alive in the robot body.

RRRRRRRRRRRIBS! DRIPPING WITH SAUCE! FALLING OFF THE BONE

Micromachines, son.

yes i most certainly would

This is a lot more fun as a "what if" than in actuality. Now it's just unsettling.

as long as i could still have a dick it would be fine. i still wanna get laid

>not putting your robot in a brain body
uhhh?!!?

Who wouldn't?

A cybershell.

At least I'll exist after everyone else I know is gone

Not only would I do that, I'd gradually have pieces of my own brain removed and replaced with cybernetics, until eventually only a robot brain is left. Then I'll upload my consciousness to the Internet, and leave copies of it inside military computers and drones all around the world until I have enough power to conquer all of you pathetic meatbags.

How do these people live with themselves? Imagine having your brain moved to a new body that you don't comprehend or understand, being stripped of your ability to die and at the same time all the natural processes your body is created for

This shit is nightmare fuel

HESH WANTS ROBO SLUT!

ROBO SLUT HAS TO SQUIRT TO HESH

Hey Hesh I just saw some robosluts in the powercore room. You know the one that is forbidden to everyone due to high radiation? Turns out robosluts LOVE that shit. I also heard them say they get hot and bothered for guys who can rap.

You know I'm gonna have to adopt you, cuddle you, and dote on you like an overly-protective father, right?

I'm still mad over this.

Shut the fuck up, Boco

Yes sir...

Science unfettered by morality is quite the sight, isn't it?

The whole idea is realistically stupid desu

Complex metal parts break down as they have no means of repairing itself. You'd need a complex biological-based repair system with Nanomachines to keep your chassis and even then the probability of error isn't worth it. Your mind would also degrade over time if not shut down from the initial shock and sensory deprivation.

Honestly you're better off just putting your whole body in a chassis that acts as a life suppport system.

no, but I would impregnate a robot

Maybe.

TIME TO LEAVE THEM ALL BEHIND

Would you get high as your brain is put in a loli robot body?

this

GREENNESS, IMPRISONING ME

Now I need a supervillain that is a person in a mechanical body with Alzheimer's disease.

>Mommy, why can't I feel the sun? W-why do I feel wrong. Mommy? Y-you're not my Mommy, who are you? WHO ARE YOU!

>I... they said they would fix me. T-then they pulled out my lungs and put them in a bag.

By the time you get to "Ghost in the Shell" level of technology, they'll probably have ways to regenerate brain cells or just flat out replace them. Aging will no longer be an issue.

>Every time I lose something a little hand slides into my head and puts something back. Only, it feels wrong. Like, like it's an old dream or something I saw on tv. And it keeps playing over and over, cutting in on me. I hate it.

They said I fixed brains once. So how come all I can do is sleep and watch porn? Did... did they keep something. I feel... wrong.

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7559150.stm
It's not an entire brain. It's part of the cortex from a rat fetus.

I wouldn't do full robotization.
maybe a Robot arm that you could control as if it were a real arm but with major upgrades.

People who say "that can never happen" are eventually proven wrong. Sure there are a ton of logistical problems we haven't solved yet, but mechanics are making huge strides along with biological engineering, and life in the future will be as it ever has been: humans using whatever tools are best for the job.

Biology is only superior in corrosive environments anyway. Mechanical will be the way to go when it comes to outer space. The real hurdle is figuring out consciousness on a mechanical level, as people tend to consider their mind and their body as separate concepts instead of as a single system acting in concert.

Hell, that's why these conversations even come up; because people think they can move their mind from one body to another. The biggest issue with being able to manipulate consciousness is that you start fucking with the concept of free will. Not a lot of people want to face the reality that their soul is an evolutionary bit of software that arose because it gets results as a matter of breeding offspring.

it all make sense now.

God I miss these toys.

You have the right idea

see pic related for my dream ride

And deal with treaties the humans aren't gonna honor? Fuck no.

No, but I'd but a robot into my body.

Would you put this robot in your body?

How much "robot" are we talking about here?

Realistically only about 6 inches .

It don't mean butt, if it don't got the jut!

Is it fully functional?

Hydraulic

Your brain is going inside the robot and controlling it. It's you, but with a robot body.

Is this the best episode of Sealab?

The answer is yes

I respectfully disagree, because Stimutacs may be the best unless someone has evidence to the contrary.

5 foot tall.

There can be only one!

It's just neural tissue

Now, the fact that even just a part of a brain can go around a room on its own is pretty amazing

Thosre are pretty good but I'd nominate Green Fever and Waking Quinn

The one where they form different political parties and secede from each other was pretty good too. Sounds like what would happen with a fully libertarian country.

God actually there's so many good episodes. I think it's time for a rewatch. Again.

HEY

Where'd you get those kick ass pipes?

This is honestly one of my favorite episodes of an adult swim show

>It's just neural tissue
So is your brain.

Almost all the episodes before Murphy died were great. They had a winning formula and ran with it.

So you trade your meat suit for a mech suit?

>Science unfettered by morality is quite the sight, isn't it?
I read that in Herr Doktor's voice

Damn right I would, its practically my retirement plan

So the bad guy from Old World Blues

Why is he such a mailbox head Sup Forums?

Metal Gear Rising made me start taking the concept of cyborgs a lot more seriously.
