Well fuck, didn't see that coming

You must be lacking Eyes then, because it is virtually impossible for some who browses Sup Forums to be completely unexpecting of it. Even if you didn’t participate in any previous Ducktales, a basic knowledge of tropes and storytelling conventions should have made you at least suspicious of it.

Does she count as stacey?

cute

How is this show animated? It looks like it's with puppets, but it looks kinda choppy. Not bad, just a bit strange.

Perhaps some puppet-rig guidelines, but it's obviously traditional animation.

Probably just cut corners on smoothing out the tweens. It's not that bad, but it encodes weird. Perhaps an odd frame timing.

Lena and Webby are best ducks.

Nu-ducks look wrong. There's nothing wrong with them in a vacuum, but the original design is so timelessly iconic that any revamp of it just ends up looking like arse simply because it's different.

You're new here then.

>Well fuck, didn't see that coming

People here did but everyone's a Barksfags or a Rosafags who has been reading Disney comics from multiple continents for 50 years or something, and knows the millions of characters and billions of pieces of LORE and DNA lines and shit. They see every single line of dialogue in the reboot coming.

...

So what's not-Minima's/Lena's Endgame, anyway? She seems to be trying to sow discord between Webby and the nephews. Divide and conquer? Did she mean all that family shit?

>Literally running with one leg while the other just wobbles about

I like this person's art a lot

...

...

...

...

Endgame is to steal the dime.

...

...

"shipping wars" incoming

Cute.

Lena manages to release Magica but it's Donald who saves the day. Calling it right now.

Donald x Gabby OTP

I betcha he’ll get splashed with love potion at least once before the series ends.

>Lena manages to release Magica but it's Donald who saves the day.

Yes by ducking Magica silly.

Poor Webby. The betrayal.

This girl committed the most heinous crime anyone can imagine. She stole my heart

I want to corkscrew Lena

That sure seems to happen to Donald a lot.

Donald/Magica OTP.

>Carving a little toy sword while Donald tells her about his nephews.
I’d like to imagine that she’s carving it for the nephews.

...

How will Webby react when one of her only friends in the world callously betrays her?

>shipping her with Bluey

That's Louie property right there.

hey stamper, have you gone to a playground with lots of cute little kiddies..

and a twelve year just keeps giving you the FUCK ME eyes?

I really wish I could fap to duck girl porn. So much good smut potential.

I expect Lena to either back out of her plan or make up for her mistakes. Or at least I hope so.

...

...

I tried to make it family friendly but it's like you guys read my mind.

In our perversion, we are One.

Will we see her again?

99% of people here called it the day they revelated her
Like , its so fucking obviously was going to happen.

Hopefully we will soon and hopefully with more interactions with Best Boy.

Louie is into older women.
He is so Chad around them, he probably scored as well.

>I'm in
Well fuck, didn't see that coming

There was a lot of weird stuff with Donald and Magica in the comics though. Like that one where she posed as Daisy and seemed to fall in love with him by accident during one of her schemes.

Doubt it, she really feels like an oneshot character like rest of the expendable goons from the pilot.

I feel like quacking so I think I will

Requesting Gabby swooning at the sight of Donald beating up a bunch of henchman in his rage mode.

I too would like this.

>the best of the cheap
Was she that desperate for money or is she just trash?

Definitely a little of both.

She lost to three toddlers and a walking corpse-man.

Lena, while actually liking Webby, will say very mean things to drive the point of betrayal home.
Lena will regret it, but it's a friendship that was simply never meant to be.
Webby will be BTFO and utterly devastated.

I want to get lost in dat maze.

Imagine all that child soldier training with childhood take away from her and she is still beaten by children who are allowed to keep theirs.

Actually that was Hack and Slash to lost the three adolescents and zombie pilot. Gabby got her ass-kicked by the psychotic, socially stunted assassin child. That’s not as shameful, although she is still a kid and therefore her strength and agility aren’t fully developed yet.

Man this friendship has been trying to get off the ground for 26 years. Why can't these two crazy kids make it work.

>Mrs. Beakley is a spy
>Her granddaughter is literally obsessed with the Duck clan
>She has worked for Scrooge for years
>Didn't think Donald could handle himself in a fight despite his reputation as an adventurer and probably having heard of his nigh legendary rages
>Had to actually witness a Donald freakout to gain respect for him, and it was actually a pretty mild one as far as Donald freakouts go
Good to know Beakley isn't actually very good at being a spy.

Does anyone else feel like the show is kind of missing a sort of impact to its animation? Like in the lastest episode, the beagle boys fight wasn't as funny as it could have been because the hits didn't look like any of it hurt. It's sort of stiff in a way.

>Child soldier training
>She was raised by Monks who probably taught swordsmanship as an art form rather than actual fighting technique. She’s probably very inexperienced at actually fighting and Glomgold was just supposed to be her starting job into the mercenary business.

Yes.
She's in the opening credits along with Hack 'n' Slash. Looks like the DuckTales Crew knows what the fans want.

So was the Dragon. You know, The one that was killed deader than a doorknob now in the first episode.

To defend Beakly a bit, what she witnessed of Donald up close was an idiot that almost killed himself in the pool, she probably thought he lost his edge/whatever she heard about him was wrong.

what episode was this again?

Magica has a family!?

So is this /dtg/?

First for Magica's massive broomstick, I guess.

God damnit I want that bird-ass!

Also Donald doesn't exactly have any training or mental discipline to back up the claim. He just flips the fuck out and goes apeshit, climbing over his enemies like an enraged chimp.

No fight training can prepare you to fight rage mode.

Because they are star crossed.

He also gains temporary super strength and durability that work as long as Donald is still mad and it's funny.

I don't know, that's more Scrooge. Donald's doesn't get any special powers but that doesn't matter because he'll bite your balls off.

I think another user actually sussed what actually went down in an earlier thread.
>taught me the art of the blade
>woodcarving

I wonder if there's any continuity where Donald had children of his own?

Why of course there is it’s this one

>It looks like it's with puppets, but it looks kinda choppy
this is as close to a definition of Toon Boom as you'll get

>says high five
>obviously a fistbump

Have you guys noticed anything in the show so far that you think is going to come up later on in the season/series? I don't mean big stuff, like the overarching Who is Della Duck mystery or last episode's reveal, but little character moments or asides that could lead to more.

So far I've noticed:
Beakley joking about being a spy.
Louie wading through gold. Maybe the first step to learning how to swim through gold?
Webby not hearing an american accent until she was seven.
Scrooge's line about what would happen if you fire his employees.

>Gabby McStabberson

And the award for the dumbest name in human history, as well as whichever species will come to populate the earth once we're gone goes to...

Apparently ghosts exist, and the note with the names on Webby's chart suggests we'll be seeing the McDuck clan at some point.

I just thought Donald had the same rage powers as Scrooge, and apparently, everyone else in his family

To be fair, she's an african gray parrot, so it's not really human history.

get to the part where you explain where roxanne's mole went

Beakley DEFINITELY works for SHUSH to keep an eye on Scrooge.

If he did, he'd probably be successful. He's more like Hortense, everyone shits themselves just from the sheer volume of your anger.

Donald teaching Gabby life skills besides woodcarving when?

A lot of people get those removed

Turned out it was melanoma.

artfag reporting in, any requests?

And a fiance who she hates.

Scrooge teaching Louie how to properly dive into money.

>tfw I'm scared to post any DT fanart on tumblr because I'm worried it'll be reposted and mocked on Sup Forums

Dickie Duck!

If you post it to Sup Forums it's more likely to be criticized constructively and/or fapped to.

>The design
She really reminds me of another slick avian.

Really?
I thought the amulet gave it away.

It's auto-tweened Toon Boom.
Mind you, it's done a lot better than the simple flash cartoons of the 00's, but it's still going to have that cheaper quality.

does she have name to make it easier to find her fanarts?

How does she walk in that dress?
