Whatever happened to Batman Incorporated?

Whatever happened to Batman Incorporated?

It was a dumb idea that made Batman's already blindly obvious secret identity even more so.

>he didn't like Batman shitposting online about Bruce Wayne being Batman

It was Morrison's project and he was done with it. The real question is if it's canon. It sure as hell wasn't after New 52 started. Seemed the only thing that was kept was Damian's death.

That single image holds more promise than anything any other Batman writer has overwritten since then.

Those characters are much better than Stephanie, Cass, Duke or Harper.

Good God how many fucking sidekicks does he need?

Most of them are heroes in their own right. Most of them have their own cities or countries to protect. Read Batman the Black Glove

Same thing that happened to New X-Men, Final Crisis, Seven Soldiers, etc. etc. Morrison tried to actually do something innovative and editors and no talent writers reversed so they could keep pumping out the same old pablum.

Batman Inc died so we could have Snyder's Batman run...

One. Robin. The rest are peers or his peers' sidekicks. Try reading comics some time.

I'm not even a Morrison fan but this is true.

Damian's death happened in the new 52

Imagine if we had Bruce and Tim AND Dick and Damian both operating as Batman and Robin at the same time

>The Gaucho, of Argentina.
>Goes around riding his horse, beating injuns and stopping every two hours to drink his matecito.

Would definitely read.

Just like Seven Soldiers, all of these guys were developed by Morrison to be able to sustain a series but nah we get Batman: Joker Returns #4673 instead.

was the ending to Batman Inc. a big middle finger to DC editorial by Morrison? You know with Kathy Kane and the Damian clones.

Absolutely. A deus ex machina returns from the dead out of nowhere, concludes the story by putting a bullet directly in the brain of the problem as if it never existed, lectures Batman for ever trying to be innovative or interesting or bigger than the standard Bat stories we've seen a billion times and then disappears never to be seen or heard from again. Then we get an epilogue of one of Batman's most popular foes gaining control of a brainless clone army perfect for setting into a motion a future Snyder or typical Batman story.

Um user. Stephanie is In pic related and Cass was the Batman of Hong Kong.

> Dat middle finger they gave when Stephanie got replaced by Barbara.

Good times.

It was canon explicitly during the beginning of the New 52. You'd know that if you actually read comics.

muh status quo

I am disappoint.

It sucks how they never bothered to expand on any of it sure we get a reference now and then but they never went far with the Inc concept and Weren't the clones brought up in Gleasons Batman and robin run?
