Gyo

King of Thorns

I guess you could count Corpse Party as a movie

Where the dead go to die?

What the fuck, there's a Gyo anime? Is it any good?

Fear(s) of the Dark. Not really scary but some of the shorts are interesting.

The CGI ruined it for me, I also remember liking the plot of the manga more.

The final short about getting trapped in an abandoned house was pretty unsettling. Granted, the one with the bullied Japanese kid was tough to watch, but something about the isolation theme of that final one felt so much worse.

You can tell just from the gif he posted it isn't

Everything about the last short was great. The style was interesting and fitted the tone well, it was definitely the best one for me.

But man do I love perfect blue
Ending was weak as hell tho

There's several. Though the majority are shorts, there are some that exceed the two hour mark, it's pretty nuts. I'm streaming some of them later this month, just posting here for anyone who'd be interested. It's about 40+hours of curated content plus some original animation involving this guy.

He made a second full length movie.
It's unironically pretty good, he took in a lot of the criticism.

It's called When Black Birds Fly, looks pretty edgy to me but then again I'm not a "horror guy".

Oh no it's edgy as shit, but this time around he figured out how to keep something aesthetically consistent and how to pace something without making it so edgy it's boring.

Apparently he made the first film as a comedy, so who knows what's going through his head. He also made a good shirt called recluse, shits pretty creepy.

It's a movie, if you've already read the manga you may not like it since they made some pretty big changes but I would still recommend giving it a shot.

His pseudonym (I hope) is "Jimmy ScreamerClauz" if that gives people any indication of his state of mind.

P-pepe?

Ooh this looks pretty cool. i'll be sure to check it out

Does sausage party count?

You didn't like the fat lady twist?

adults aren't afraid of horror films

Didn't the creator of Ed, Edd & Eddy want to make an animated horror movie?

He made lupo the butcher

Not sure if that's what he was talking about

Whenever Soviet Block cartoonists went experimental.
The best thing was, it was still intended for kids.

>that one soviet cartoon about dead rabbits chasing around their eyeballs

>horror animation stream
You have my interest
>that artstyle
Now you have my attention

>the stream guy made a fucking poster.

Can’t wait for your stream even if I know I won’t be able to watch it as I want.

Still, just know that you’re great.

Magnetic Rose

>he took in a lot of the criticism.
That's good to hear.

Just read this today. The first part wasn't too bad. Just literally sea life walking around. Grew up near a fish market so I don't relate to people hating the smell. >the second part.
Holy fuck that was disturbing.

I remember a lot of Heavy Metal being scary as fuck

Is horror scary live action or animated which one is better
