It's a lot harder these days than it was maybe 5 years ago. The demand for service professions has gone down quite a bit so you can't just walk in and get a job in a restaurant anymore like you used to. But if you have a technical background or know a trade like electrician you should be fine. The demand in the oil and gas sector is basically zero right now so that's a problem if you want an industry job.
Personally i moved to the US this year, used to live in Göteborg. The US is actually worse in terms of violence and minorities but at least it's not an orwellian nightmare where you're not allowed to think that politicians should pass laws that help our own population rather than the immigrants. No. There's a lot of them, even here in Bergen. Work in grocery stores and similar is easy enough to get, and they pay enough for you to get a decent apartment and all that stuff.
