What went wrong?

What went wrong?

literally nothing happened
the movie had no plot, it was just a cheap nostalgia montage

Lack of development of the connection between Bond and villain. Could have featured much more emotional depth, which would have made whole story somewhat more believable.

The studio execs edited the living shit out of it because it was "too long for a bond movie" so a bunch of shit that actually set up the plot like "boring dialogue" was cut out.

Some of the things they cut out where the foreshadowing of the bond villain and bond's relationship, the ending action scene build up, the villains true plan and some of bonds back story.

Basically everything you should have known to give the movie any depth

Everything

Read the Sony Hack Spectre emails from jew Amy Pascal who produced it

ALSO, THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME KIND OF A TWIST RATHER THAN A SERIES OF WATERY CHASES WITH GUNS. THIS IS BLOFELD AFTER ALL. WHAT DOES HE HAVE UP HIS SLEEVE?

WE NEED TO CUT 20 PAGES AND THIS WHOLE SET PIECE COULD GO.

IT WAZ SMEE JAMES

Doesn't he somehow shoot a helicopter down with an FN Five-Seven?

It had absolutely no grounding in reality.

This movie was so boring I fell asleep while watching it at home, I still haven't watched it.

At least Quantum of solace left me feeling an emotion.

i have a hard time believing that as all the crucial workers including director and writers were recurring their roles in the franchise; they were well familiar with the producers and the prudcers obviously content with their previous work

so i cant imagine that they should fuck up the production so much.

Weird, because nostalgia usually elicits a warm and comforting feeling. This felt like someone clawing your soul.

A little over two years later and I'm still in shock over how poorly Blofeld was handled.

it was boring
worst theme song as well

Instead of making a good movie they decided it's more important to celebrate 50 years of Bond or something with nods and references.

It's basically what if JJ Abrams of Geoff Johns made a Bond movie

Yeah, she's pretty bad.

I thought Sony only distributed the film. Eon productions is it's own studio that actually makes the film.

Spectre is genuinely my least favorite Craig movie, it's even worse than Quantum of Solace. At least Quantum of Solace has a nice car chase.

Skyfall sucked.

What went right?

It was just boring. Lots of fun action and stuff but nothing that'd make me ever wanna watch it again. After how great Skyfall was, Spectre was a major disappointment.

I'd rather watch this mess than another boring Craig movie

Casino Royale is a top 3 Bond film and nothing you say can change that.

NO FUCKING GLOBETROTTING

I watched it and there was literally no movie. just a bunch of random shit scenes happening stitched together with no beginning middle or end. WTF was this? it makes quantum of solace look like an ultra coherent masterpiece

I said boring craig film like quantum of solace or spectre

Thank fuck Sony haven't got the distribution rights anymore.

Didn't the director of this movie also direct Casino Royale? I've always had a soft spot for it, it's pretty stupid fun but it's tightly written.

Yeah Eon produce and make the films. Not sure how much sway these produces have, usually Eon producers have a tight grip on things.

No

>an underwear model with no acting talent or charisma whatsoever playing Bond
>what went wrong

>Didn't the director of this movie also direct Casino Royale?
no that's this

the pre-credits action scene is so fucking bonkers in this. it's like 3 bond movies playing in fast forward all at once.

Oh, well, shit. You're right.

>Goldeneye
>Casino Royale
>The Mark of Zorro

Why the fuck aren't they begging Martin Campbell to come back?

reasons

Attached: Green_Lantern.jpg (570x843, 119K)

they did. but he doesn't want to get tied down to the franchise because he's too based and understands that he needs to pace himself.

he did The Foreigner which I haven't seen but looks good.

He should direct the next one if they can't get Nolan. He clearly knows exactly what he's doing with Bond, and it's been long enough now that he shouldn't mind coming back.
