Good lincensed comics?

What are some licensed comics you'd recommend?
Hard more: they could be enjoyed just as much without any knowledge of the characters.

I remember enjoying the original Topps X-Files comics, (Charles Adlard's art was a pretty bad fit though).

Predator - The Bloody Sands of Time (2 issues)

This looks interesting, which reminds me to ask: are any of the Robocop comics any good?

ROBOCOP VS TERMINATOR

I loved the videogame, but is the comic good?

IDW does some decent Star Trek comics.

I personally like the mirror universe TNG thing they've got going on. weird art though.

It's mental, an awesome mashup of both universes that feels really natural. Great art and sharp writing. If you like either series you need to give it a read.

Haven't read it, but Frank Miller's Robocop comic (adapted from his early script for 2 which was broken up and adapted into 1 & 2) is worth it for the hyper detailed Juan Jose Ryp art alone in my book.

Godzilla - The Half Century War is legitimately one of the greatest G stories in any medium.

Halloween - Nightdance is fairly good, be warned it's pretty damn bleak & even mean spirited but it gets Michael Myers himself perfectly.

Sounds interesting, will give it a shot

Have you read the Puppetmaster comics?

Marvel has produced a fuck-ton of great licensed comics over the years. Off the top of my head, there's:

>Conan the Barbarian
>John Carter: Warlord of Mars
>Star Wars
>GI Joe
>Transformers
>ROM
>Micronauts
>Zoids

There were some gems in Dark Horse's Star Wars run as well. The best of them may well be Tales of the Jedi and Knights of the Old Republic, which take place thousands of years before the movies and are thus completely and totally self-contained.

BAMP!

Duke Nukem: Glorious Bastard

IDW's Ghostbusters.

Art tends to be really shitty on licensed comics lately.

>1 & 2
Sorry I meant 2 & 3.

Is this Female Ghostbusters done right?

Alien: The Illustrated Story by Archie Goodwin and Walt Simonson

John Rogers' Dungeon And Dragons run

>it will never be finished

It was, until the stupid licensor started forcing them to use the 2016 GBs.

WHy not?

Bump!

I used to like Zenescope's Final Destination comic

Ren and Stimpy, Beavis and Butthead, the late 90s WWF comics.

Boom's Power Ranger comics are surprisingly solid reads so far, and IMHO totally underrated.
