tastes like chicken and there's no need to hunt them, they sell the meats at the butchers
Fuck off
Deer but better.
There seems to be a healthy population of kangaroos. Do you usually eat them often, like is it a tradition to eat kangaroos? We usually eat moose over here.
...
>What does kangaroo taste like?
salty milk
I'm hungry now, thanks!
You can't really farm kangaroos, so all the meat you find at the shops was hunted for. This makes it a bit too expensive to have as a regular meal, so most people who eat it will have some only every so often. There is no real tradition to eating it.
Theyre delicious and taste like venison.
Emu and croc are also delicious.
Fuck sakes Aussies, stop being afraid of your fauna and start eating them!
Please do not eat the abos though. You might get cancer from the petrol.
> will they punch me?
No. But they will balance on their tails, raise their legs up and kick out. Many a person has been disemboweled that way. These fuckers have explosive strength in their legs (go figure) and razor sharp claws.
Also when I was a kid camping in rural South Aust (ignore flag) dad and his mate shot a roo which we ate that night. I didn't mind it.
No way I'd eat a wild roo now but. I imagine they're totally chock full of parasite goodness.
If you're one of those "it's so lean, it's got no fat" type of people you might like it. Not my taste. Needs some marbling.
If you hunt them you'll need a permit to do it legit, (not easy to get if your not a land owner or pro pest controller) but i wouldn't recommend eating them as recently worms have become a concern in the wild population.
You can buy it in shops from a farm and the texture is between beef and pork and has a stronger flavor than either.
Yes.
Good.
They use their legs.
Does koala taste like it's been marinating in menthol?
Not exactly, but it's pretty bad. It's edible though.
