Name some S tier Sup Forums villains and what makes them stand out. I honestly think Bills design is what makes him memorable. His motivation wasnt anything unique but goddamn was his charismatic.

Bill started out at S-Tier but Wierdmageddon just shit the bed so hard that he wasn't threatening, charismatic, or villainous at all.

Among my favorites is Dr Facilier. He jobs pretty hard for someone as charming as he is, but I love his design, voice actor, dance style, and the Voodoo motif isn't played on nearly enough

Bill was hit-and-miss for me. He had a fun design and intimidating moments, but he repeatedly went out like a chump.

And he makes deals with people that he doesn't really bother to follow through on, which makes me wonder why he has to make specific deals with people in the first place, instead of just being a monkey's paw about it.

For me it's the Joker, who's just like me: Intelligent, nihilistic, and with a wicked sense of humor

Define S-tier and its qualifications.

How'd Weirdmageddon shit the bed?

Right. Design.
He's just a fucking logo.
Woooow, guys check out my super great new villain design! /s

>by-the-numbers for the evlulz randumb villain that relies mostly on doing stupid body horror shit and having (((wacky and crazy)))) dialogue is S-tier

Is this amateur night?

...

Joker sucks.
>oh no the joker, he is dangerous because he is insane, oh no the best superpower ever, he is the best villain ever, better than thanos, darkseid, doom because he is insane.
Fuck off.

He was memeing

>Realize that Faciller never fucking lied about anything at all
It's the little things that make him better.

>(((wacky and crazy))))

I don't really know what you're getting at here.

I found her to be amazing. Top notch banter, hot, a legitimate threat anytime she got to strut her stuff and used the truth to manipulate people. She meant everything she said to Raimundo, she gave him everything she promised and was serious about letting the other dragons join her side.

There's just something about obviously evil people who don't need to lie to get there way that I enjoy.

Design, hype, voice, petty dickishness, and the fact that he was pragmatic when he needed to be.

Despite being the final villain, Canaletto outright admits that he probably couldn't beat one of the racers in a straight up magic fight so he just tosses the latter into another dimension to avoid that fight.

We didn't get nearly enough Facillier. I could feel the wasted potential by the end of the movie.

>Lie by omission doesn’t count

Bill's design isn't even original, tons of shit have been done with that eye.

One of the classiest, most charismatic villains ever animated, as befits the showman he is above all else. Also fiendishly cunning, one of those villains who effectively employ misdirection to turn any outcome into a win, but he did simply outright lose on occasion, keeping him from being predictably infallible. The highlight of an underrated gem of a show, The Secret Saturdays.

Also has the most incredible reveal I've ever born witness to. Don't spoil it.

WTF is THIS?! source?

Oban Star Racers

GOLB is a SSS-Tier villian

But is he memorable? Not really.

The entire Friends On The Other Side scene is perfect and makes me sad 2D is in the shitter. Little things like the wallpaper changing when it's under his shadow, his mask at the end actually being the skull on his hat pulled down over his face, all these fantastic little details

Heroes make the best villains

>by-the-numbers for the evlulz randumb villain that relies mostly on doing stupid body horror shit and having (((wacky and crazy)))) dialogue is S-tier
Aku? Yes, most of Sup Forums considers him S-tier

Keith David can sing as well? Damn

>great design
>great voice acting and mannerism
>fancy powers, not overpowered but able to use his resources to achieve his goals
>reasonable and simple backstory
>sympathetic motivations
>has no limit for the atrocities he commits since he believes all of them will be undone in the end

And then we have the abomination of S3.

Man, the baron was such a treat every time he was on screen. His voice actor did a perfect job of making him sound both sophisticated and legitimately intimidating.

Bill was actually a bit too good for Gravity Falls. It’s evident that Bill as a character is too limited by the restraints of children’s television/the pacing restraints of S2, which means we could only very rarely see Bill as the charismatic lovecraftian horror conman that he really is, but when Bill got going he got going.

Need a Rick VS Bill movie.

GOLB is nothing but a name for a non character no one but nerds are aware of.

>His motivation wasnt anything unique but goddamn was his charismatic.
two words
>megatron yes

YEEEESSSSSS

>IT'S THE GREEN IT'S THE GREEN IT'S GREEN YOU NEED
>AND WHEN I LOOK INTO YOUR FUTURE IT'S THE GREEN THAT I SEE

Fucking genius.

>Posting the worst version of the joker

Memorable and iconic. A villain you enjoy more than any protagonist.

She was kino.

Doc Scratch is the best thing that came oit of homosuck.

Bill isnt S tier. He was just an asshole who stood up because he was the only villain on the show who wasnt an idiot.
And then he got his powers and became boring.Doesnt help that it turns out he had depth that was never shown on the series, but on the books.
Bill sucks

>Her voice
Fuck me she had a hot voice, I love the fluid animation too, it really animated my fluids.

that was the last great disney villain

I will always consider Nox one of the absolute best written villains. His motivations, voice acting, design, style, and ultimate ruthlessness are top notch. Every time he was on screen I was paying close attention.

> he had depth that was never shown on the series, but on the books.

Like what?

this thread reminds me of this
its hinted that he destroyed his universe by mistake and was horrified by it, and all of his madness is him lying to himself so he doesnt have to live with the guilt of destroying his own reality. He had a family too, and its made clear he didnt want to erase them.
BUT NO BILL IS JUST A WHINY CHILD LOL LOOK AT HIM ON HIS THRONE OF STONED PEOPLE HAHAHAHA

>GFfags are this delusional
Bill was a shitty B villain. He was never a menace.

Now this is a villain youtube.com/watch?v=DY11nLt4sbc

look i have no beef against TTGO! since i never cared about the original, but that dragon was just an ok character in that goofy episode. He wasnt a great villain in any sense.

its more than that, he plays into the whole conspiracy theme of the show

He was the best kind of villain: a classic villain.

The hell, so why did he wanted to bring chaos to the earth?

They should do a novel about Bill backstory.

Everything about that chart is wrong

All of this shitting on Bill Cipher.

I knew CO were contrarian faggots, but Jesus. No taste.

>LOL I AM SO RANDOM character
>good
Even the /gfg/ ended up thinking Bill was shit.

Since GF and RandM are "connected", would be fun to watch a movie about Bill revival in RandM.

SSSS-tier villian coming thro
Also
FALL

Nobody wants me at Sup Forums so here I am

keep being delusional

he was great but i will never understand the people who say he wasnt a villain.
He almost raped a girl and was fine with the rest of the world to suffer as long as his own didnt. He represented the good and bad sides of patriotism

I'd be interested to see how Rick and Ford interact. I' feel like they'd HATE each other.

Rick would despise Ford's idealism and attachment to family, and narcissism, conveniently ignoring his own relationship with Morty.

Ford would hate Rick's hedonism and nihilistic approach to science and family, conveniently forgetting his own failures and mistakes when he put science above his family.

Also Rick's an asshole, and Ford's a dork.

That's the thing about adding relevant information via secondary media source; it might as well not exist. It's not pertinent to the people who only know about the actual TV show.

The majority of fans will only know about the Bill that they saw aired, not the full one Hirsch had written.

The greatest trick the devil can ever pull is making you feel sorry for them.

i think they would be frenemies since they are both the only humans who traveled trough dimensions. Rick is a lonely god in the universe, and ford would be the first person he would met that is kinda like him.
But Rick and Stanley are canon bros

>ITT: Villains who had great build up who ultimately shat the bed.

Simply Panasche

>" Rick and Stanley are canon bros"

what

have you seen all the rick and stan fanart done by alex and justin?
they even singed together
youtube.com/watch?v=r5F-ROcx2IA

But that can't be canon.

Actually, would it be possible to create a GravityFalls / Rick and morty crossover? since Rick and morty is on adult swim and GFon disney xd, it seem unlikely.

The Joker's superpower is perfect timing. It's why all his plans work no matter how crazy they are, and only batman can stop him because he's the ultimate straight man.

This

She was such a good villain that she had to be nerfed hard to ever show up again after the Flesh arc.

I thought Father from KND was pretty great. Powerful, menacing, memorable and with some unexpected depth given the lore of the show.

Pretty much this.

He's very well balanced. If they'd left one of those things out I don't think he'd be as memorable but as he is he's a success/

The books sort of hint that he had some sort of Flatland novel backstory where he was enlightened about the nature of reality, and tried to "liberate" his home dimension but wound up destroying it instead, went mad with guilt and now lies to himself about everything all the time time until he doesn't remember "that they aren't lies anymore." So he seems to have had some psychotic break where he tells himself he actually succeeded with the first dimension's "liberation" and wants to repeat it to "free" another dimension while on some level he realizes what he has done and is miserable, but he pretends he is not.

This was however only in the show in like a five second line so for all purposes he's randumb for the evulz. Meanwhile I think a grand total of one fanfic actually does anything with this backstory despite Bill being in approx. 99% of all fan works for Gravity Falls though he was only in about 3 episodes, however they are all just gay porn and no backstory. I guess reading a Victorian novel about speculative mathematics and theoretical extra spatial
dimensions isn't too appealing.

It will never happen because disney wouldnt let it but it would be the greatest thing of all time

Mostly his voice acting.

maybe the comics will show that side of him
he

A hilarious monstrosity who can make you laugh one moment and then remind you quite suddenly that he is in fact a genocidal abomination.

How he's allowed to cut loose and be grotesque, vile, and frightening provided he isn't charley horsed by his own neuroses.

I'll second that. He was so gloriously egotistical and manipulative.

You are strong, boy. But I am beyond strength.

>Immediately gets punked by a child for the upteenth time.

Anyone else think Screweyes could have been a fun villain if he was in a completely different style of movie?

...

I heard there were a few of his scenes that were cut that would have gotten him a lot more involved with the kids.

I remember there was some scene about him explaining that keeping himself surrounded by crows after they pecked out his eye was how he wanted to master his own fears, but it was cut because it was considered too dark.

Aku was a perfect villain for a show like Samurai Jack. A guy that could do a silly dance with his minions in one scene and just unceremoniously kill them right after with the same tone and expression.

There are tons of little references they slip under thr radar. Maybe Alex could do oneof his character voices briefly offscreen without explicitly saying who he's playing for a copyright avoiding cameo.

What things specifically?

>Being this new

Here's the real S tier villain of Gravity Falls

>Not Turbo or Kabuki

GOLB's an example of an eldritch horror done *right*. No explanation is given behind what he is, his desires, or even why the lesser evils serve him. He only exists to destroy and consume without reason or meaning, cannot be reasoned with in any way shape or form, and is powerful enough that to him, everyone else may as well be specks of star dust. Say whatever you want about the show as a whole, but GOLB is a great case of what happens when writers manage to nail cosmic horror.

top tier Sup Forums villain

>He only exists to destroy and consume without reason or meaning
Does he? I only remember him being mentioned once or twice.

>one of the best villain songs, if not *the* best
>relatable moral views (who likes gypsies anyways?)
>faithful to god
>well written flaws
>fuggin beautiful voice

Who will be the next randy stairs? a svtfoe fan?

He erases things from existence so thoroughly that not even beings like Prismo (who can do practically anything), can bring them back. So we can presume that he eats existence where he goes. Doesn't help that the Lich describes himself as being a "Scholar of GOLB".

Wasn't the Vegas dude a NuPPG fan? Or was that just Sup Forums pulling our leg again?

Will it be a shipperfag or a waifufag?
