I tip if the service is exceptionally professional or if the waitress is a total QT with a nice personality.
Joseph Kelly
With tips they usually make more than what theyre worth anyway.
Kayden Young
>a total QT with a nice personality. you are a literal beta cuck
Bentley Ward
There is a national minimum wage here so I feel a tip is for good service. So I will tip if someone does more than the average
Brody Powell

No shit Sherlock. We cant all live off bank secrecy and Nazi gold.
Jaxon Garcia
I tipped a pizza guy once, fucking waste of 5 dollars
Dylan Sullivan
You should never ever tip. >But it's not the waitress fault and she has a shit pay Then, if nobody tips, being a waitress won't be viable and people will not do that job anymore, thus forcing employers to raise wages to bring back the work force. I shouldn't have to pay extra because she's working for a Jew.
Brayden Ramirez
This again, it shouldn't be done here. It hurts the business as well when the waiter hands back the eftpos machine and cues for the customer to put a tip in. This is even more true when the waiter asks the customer before hand if they enjoyed everything. If the customer wants to tip they will make it known to you, then you will know if they are really happy or not. We get paid enough as waiters anything we earn beyond that, should be gratuitous for exceptional service.
This is a problem in Melbourne. The backpacker waiters think they should be tipped for no reason. They get upset when their tips are shit. They are lazy and incompetent (this is at waitering as well), but they still wonder why their tips are shit. They all believe there entitled to a bonus for being sub par.
ITS FUCKED you can't use 'tips' to measure performance and the customers experience any more.
Kayden Martinez
With the exception of bad service i usualy I tip because it doesnt really hurt me. But i understand not tipping on principle or if you need the money.
Adam Wood
Should've written

not wanting to tip just means you are a jaded fuck
Brandon Baker
It's a fiver, what's the problem? Maybe if people started out in shitty service jobs they'd have a bit more compassion.
Jackson Butler
Seriously, why can't I just tell the fucking chef what I want, and just let me know when it's ready. I'll go get it from the kitchen. What a fucking joke of a profession. Bartenders too! Oh, you want 20% of my bar tab for pulling a handle and pouring a beer into a glass?!! What an extremely rare skill!
Joshua Hughes
>it's okay when I Jew >but when THEY Jew it's not

I always round down to the dollar between 10%-15% on a sliding scale towards 10% the higher the bill unless there was something specifically horrible.
I learned long ago that I don't need to question my actions or mannerisms in public with other people if I just keep it consistent within the norm. I don't have to worry about accidentally giving a bad tip or awkwardly internally debating what it should be.
I just factor it into the cost of eating out.
Josiah Robinson
tips are sometimes split between everyone, so no matter who does a good or a bad job, everyone gets tipped the same, from the cook, to the waitress to the dish washer, to the preper
Cooper Perry
not tipping in restaurants is impolite and a sure sign of lower class upbringing.
Ayden Butler
Is it true that americans tip a man for cracking open a bottle and handing it to them in a bar?
Cooper Long
The only reason to tip is if your waiter/waitress goes above the expectations she isn't required to do.
William Nelson
>You're a fucking ugly bitch. I want to stab you to death, and play around with your blood.
Josiah Reyes
Restaurant going culture is one of the (((worst))) cultures imaginable
It's one of the things that FUELS rabid liberalism and MULTICULTURALISM. It also teaches obedience and to attack anyone who thinks outside the rational "YOU MUST TIP THIS MUCH OR FUCK YOU" Let the whole shithole die off. Most of the food is absolute garbage that people pretend is good.
No I don't want your shitty mass produced 3rd world crap that's sitting out all day in a heating pan
Aiden Edwards
The practice of tipping only benefits people who don't tip. Everyone else would be better off if it didn't exist.
Jace White
Don't know what it is like in Austria, but you're expected to tip in Germany.
Easton Foster
you must tip x amount because your state has that calculated into your servers wage. Get mad at the government for adopting stupid shit, not at the server.
Min wage for tipped employees is $2.12 an hour or something, and most make that.
Landon Parker
you want to pay poor people higher wages? what kind of cuckold are you?
Gavin Taylor
customers tip me. i tip waitresses and delivery who service me. give and take more or less.
Henry Nelson
Well... yes, that would be contingent with the concept of a tip, but if us Americucks avoid tipping, we are basically killing the business model and hurting the restaurant (and by extension, its employees) if we don't.
I'd love to reward good service properly but I basically have to go with 15%+[judged allocation of server performance]%
Camden Green
No, I'll stay mad at the culture. It's all about teaching obedience and herd acceptance
Jaxson Thomas

I tip, if they work a job that pays less than minimum wage because they're wait-staff. That's it though. I am also not afraid to NOT tip someone if they are a piece of shit.
Beyond that, no I won't tip, and frankly, most of them make far more than minimum wage gives anyway. My ex gf was a waitress and she would make an easy $300 for a mere 8 hours of work on an average night. She was extremely entitled about it too, not just entitled like she deserved tips, but entitled like she deserved 50% on a bill and anyone who tipped less than that was a shitbag.
We used to argue a lot about that shit. Good times, good times...
Nathaniel Nguyen
Where did your bird go, Mexico?
Henry Hughes
>Min wage for tipped employees is $2.12 an hour or something, and most make that.
God damn it this is not how it works. If you don't get any tips your boss pays you the full minimum wage that any other profession is guaranteed. When you get enough tips that your boss can pay you less than minimum wage and you still come out over minimum wage he's allowed to pay you less, down the that two dollars and change minimum. Most waiters who aren't shit at their job make way more than minimum wage, but most of their money comes from tips. They also don't fucking pay taxes on the tips either. Stop crying for them faggot.
Jackson Hill
If it weren't for tips, there wouldn't be anyone willing to be servers in America. It's a job where you interact with dozens of insufferable cunts daily, but I wouldn't expect NEETs to understand how grueling that must be.
Christian Nelson
>I was really high one time and ordered papa johns online one or two minutes before close >Still high when pizza guy arrives >Have money for bill in one pocket and tip money in another >Give pizza guy money >ohboypizza2amstonedyeeeeeeeee >Pizza guy gives me death glare I'll never forget >Remember I forgot the tip while eating my pizza still stoned wondering why I got that glare >lel
Brayden Garcia
holy shit, as an american this makes me so angry
Daniel Howard
I used to work at a restaurant in the UK (YO Sushi) and everyone panicked when they brought in laws to tax ALL earnings including tip.
Obviously that makes no fucking sense since there is no way to predict how much tip you're going to get in a week. They actually started hiding the tip jar to avoid the taxman in case he came in.
So basically no one cared in the end because if we got a tip we were risking getting fucked because there is literally no point in declaring £25 extra earnings per week, sometimes it was better to have the peace of mind of no tip at all.
Blake Roberts
You're tipping either way.
If they're on welfare, you're paying for their well being
>but it's not my fault they are not payed enough
Okay when they raise the minimal wage, you pay the law makers who write and vote on the law. There for you're indicrectly tipping them by supporting people raising their wages.
Also what a snooby son of a bitch you must be to even not following through the courtesy of supproting someone who provides a good service
If they did not provide a good service of course you don't tip. You're not forced to tip but it's the polite thing to do and if don't tip in the name of "Oh it's not my fault they're underpaid" then people will judge.
If you don't support tipping, then you wouldn't support welfare either.
>"It's not my fault they made bad life choices so why should I pay for it"
If you're the kind to support welfare and be snobby on tipping, Please Kill your self.
TD:LR You're really fucking snobby op.
Matthew Sullivan
I wish i could tip the BoH staff instead.
Waiters are entitled gits that do 10% of the work involved in my meal.
Easton Wright
Just tip if the service was above average or the waiter puts in above 51% effort. It's a pretty shitty job it's the least you could do. I tipped a guy behind a fish and chip counter the other day because he was working his off.
Asher Sanchez
>order something for the first time >tip generously >order something for the second time >same guy, really friendly, tip generously >order something for the third time >same guy, brings it up the stairs, asks what's up >don't tip anything
fucking hell, we aren't best buddies! I order something and you shut your mouth and do your job
Adam Cruz
Depends on tip culture. I'm sure it happens in Aus casinos as it's the only place tipping happens regularly in mainland Europe.
Juan Carter
Why? He waited one hour for his food. Why the fuck should you tip someone when you waited one hour for your food?
Jordan Turner
>go to expensive restaurant and/or pay for a bunch of people >all of a sudden decide to be a miser >don't tip >be pretend jew instead of just eating at home to be a proper cheap person
Hunter Lewis
How dare he assume you were amicable after giving good tips? He asked you how you were doing? The gall!
Adrian Powell
>Tip delivery guy >Guy comes up. >"Hello... young man?" >Surprised I'm tipping as a lower 20 something year old because most people my age are entitled fucks >Chat whenever he delivers. It's 3-5 extra dollars, I'm not a jew.
Benjamin Allen
this. the women at dennys though are really chatty and make me feel less lonely though, id tip them for making me feel welcome, but not for looks i also hate tipping indians. they never smile and they give me that "hurry up" look
Chase Watson
if I wanted to pay for human interaction I'd go to a whorehouse. But what pissed me the most was that I said he should call when he's there (what he did the first 2 times) and he should wait downstairs
Jordan Ortiz
Not if you don't drink :)
Samuel Cox
If they don't make minimum wage then their employer is legally obligated to pay them the difference. Anybody who cries to you about how servers are paid too little is either lying to you or an ignorant victim who should sue. There is literally no reason to tip beyond philanthropy. How did this even become such a formal process?
Julian Cook
I could never do that. 10 percent is what I give. It is there job,and if they live in a state where they get minimum wage not below and depends on tips that all I give
Julian Clark
>I said he should call when he's there I don't understand what you mean. Call when he comes upstairs, call when he has a shift?
Matthew Moore
this sounds fake. no millennial says "young man"
Evan Lewis
fuck off cuck
Ryan Hughes
wew >use online service to order food >write instructions on how to deliver >disregards instructions and invades private property there's a gate but apparently someone forgot to lock it
Chase Rogers
Because bugging the chef while he's cooking fuckin sucks and pisses off the chef. You'd have people going up to a chef and asking stupid shit like "where are the restrooms!"
Aaron Murphy
>not giving people extra money for no reason is rude
Noah Powell
This is fake. Donald Trump himself said it was fake.
I tip based on quality of service if they bring my food swiftly, with a smile, and try their best to give me the best time I've ever had, I'll gladly tip them up to 20%
if they're some stuck up brat that acts like a self entitled shit, they can go fuck themselves, and can go eat shit when I talk with their boss.
I see no reason to fuck over the waitress/waiter if they're genuinely trying to make your meal enjoyable
Adrian Young
I usually tip like round up to the next full € or round up +1€
Leo Torres
You know it's their job to give you good service and smile and bring your food swiftly? You're paying them more for doing their job description.
It was my job to swiftly pick your objects off the shelves abd make sure your total order was correct at amazon warehouse last year. Do I get more money?
Luke Collins
Fuck bonuses, fuck commissions, fuck any kind of monetary awards outside base pay rate.
Nathan Powell
In a tipping country, not tipping is wrong when provided with at least decent service. Restraints cut wages because tipping is allowed (on top of which tips get taxed). So seriously pay your due percent to the server.
US ain't Europe so respect that until it is.
Carter Hill
Why do you have tip separate. Thats crap.
Juan Collins
we should get rid of tipping but until it's actually gotten rid of, you should pay the person their due.
Parker Myers
I like you.
Ethan Gonzalez
These people are payed under minimum wage because they are expected to rely on tips. Just stop being a dirty kike and literally nothing can go wrong.
Carson White
Restaurants are also required to pay them minimum wage.
Asher Harris
>giving extra to the kikes
Aiden Wright
Can you show me the law, where it states that tipping is mandatory?
Nathaniel Wilson
Yeah, but if they're being tipped, then they don't. Restaurant service is far from minimum wage work, but the tips fuck the whole system up, just pretend like you're paying the amount you should be paying and don't shift the burden onto other
Nolan Jenkins
father taught me to tip high, especially if it's a place you frequent.
then when you return with a hot date or a business client, the staff treats you like royalty and you impress whoever you're with, and thus you seal the deal.
but i guess nerdvirgins/peasants don't have to worry about that kinda thing
Caleb Price
You should fuck off. "Tipping" is not an American thing, it's the way for fucking Applebees to juice more money out of you. Americans are smarter than to give their fucking hard-earned cash over to moneygrubbing J*ws.
Connor Hughes
This. Tip services because then they'll only do better next time you see them.
Mason Barnes
Why would I need to pay to impress people?
Theyre usually impressed by my looks/charisma.
David Williams
Except the fact that if they dont make at least minimum wage their employer has to pay it, tipping is reserved for exceptional service and nothing less
Dominic Morris
I only tip whites
Logan Lewis
>Applesbees >owned by jews
Luke Collins
It's not about patrons getting mad, they should just stop tipping completely and put the onus on the restaurant employee to get mad and demand more.
I want every restaurant in North America to hang signs outside that say "Our menu prices have increased to make up for the fact that we will no longer accept tips under any circumstances." and then when I go eat, I know I won't have to pay a tip even if it means I'm paying $15 for my burger instead of the old $12.50 price. Only now you fucking waiters will get the $8/hour you deserve and you can shut the fuck up about your $2.12/hour wage and won't have to beg for tips ever again.
Colton Wilson
"tipping" as a dining practice is bullshit. Nobody says you can't "tip" (i.e. give) money to anyone you want when you feel generous. Unexpected tipping is great feeling on both sides.
When it becomes "expected", it loses the magic, and the lack of tip creates animosity.
Once again, the fucking Jews ruin everything
Logan Bell
Tipping as mandatory is basically an American thing, I would prefer it didn't exist because then I could tip for actual good service instead of tipping as welfare. Basically in the US restaurants pay servers below minimum wage and then they make up for it in tips. If you're against that practice, for any reason, you're kind of in between a rock and a hard place. If you don't tip, you're hurting the staff and not the restaurant, and it makes you a bad person in everyone's eyes. If you do tip, you're helping the staff, but also helping the practice that's fucking them over (plus kike-ass greeks own a ton of eating establishments here in the US, and are known to just pocket their staff's tips, or they redistribute them all which means the hardworking ones waiting tables to get through college get their extra tips distributed to lazy negresses and food spitters) Best option is really just to not eat at businesses which employ this trick to lower menu prices. I'd really they rather just chuck an extra dollar dollars to menu prices and raise the pay by a dollar.
Carter Brooks
No, they do. If employees who rely on tipping don't make minimum wage then the employer is legally obligated to make up the difference.
Easton Ortiz
looks and charisma are one aspect of impressing someone, and we weren't discussing that.
a handsome charismatic bum would be less successful than a handsome charismatic rich man
Oliver Anderson
The waiter wasn't the one taking so long to cook it.
Kayden Gutierrez
>already gave a ton of money to the fucking restaurant >this means I'm supposed to dish out more money or eat at home
Eat a dick honestly. Not a fucking charity, I already give a ton of money to your fucking jew boss, I'm not personally responsible for your salary.
Andrew Ortiz
Boy are you in for a surprise once you actually swallow the red-pill.
Gabriel Jones
Except it isn't, they're only obligated to bring you your food and collect your payment, all the kindness and service with a smile shit is an added bonus.
Nicholas White
Canadian servers have it really good
American-style tipping on top of $12+/hour minimum wage (varies from province to province)
