The fact that Yang took the Raven road and not the Ruby road makes her shit. Weiss is going to be boring this entire volume. Blake is still just as shit as always.
Ergo, I submit to the court of RWBY/RT General (In it's 1219th official iteration), that Ruby Rose is best RWBY by default now.
Dominic Reyes
Soon
Cameron Cook
She'll be the best, around, and nothing's ever gonna keep her down
Jeremiah Cox
Eh for this volume, sure.
Adam Gomez
Only if she sticks with JNR + Qrow
Christopher Wilson
Volume 9 isn't that soon, silly.
But Grimm!Pyrrha shenanigans?
Closer.
Josiah Gomez
>The fact that Yang took the Raven road and not the Ruby road makes her shit Still more entertaining than the rest of the team. I'm waiting for Yang VS Raven Round 1.
Bentley Edwards
Rest easy my friends, leave reina Salem to me
Christian Howard
i dont get it
Leo Smith
It's literally just going to be Yang vs Adam. But without the dismemberment. Maybe.
Grayson Hernandez
it's a forced meme, don't worry about it.
Lucas Gutierrez
Now that Raven's being subsumed by the main plot I wouldn't be surprised if Yang gets sidelined. We're more likely to see Qrow be the one to fight Raven than Yang
Nathan Jones
So... why is a ship like Dragon Slayer (Jaune x Yang) a thing?
Someone tell me how this is starting to gain popularity? Is it some kind of pair the spares mentality thing going on now that Blake apparently has the chameleon girl, or what?
Because as far as I know, Yang and Jaune have had little to no real interaction outside of him vomiting on her shoes, thus earning him the Vomit Boy moniker, and Yang encouraging Jaune to pursue Weiss because she wanted to have fun at the latter's expense.
Jeremiah Barnes
>Someone tell me how this is starting to gain popularity?
Because people hate Lancaster so much, and they're starting to give up hope on Arkos, that they're trying to shove Jaune with literally anybody else but Ruby, so that they can stop seeing Ruby getting paired with a retard.
Andrew Collins
That would be hilarious, and would make me happy to see the other shippers have a meltdown on their own retardation
Jordan Long
At this point shipping Jaune with every girl is a meme that evolved past being a meme to people actually liking ships with girls he barely ever spoke to or doesnt even know. At least Yang and Jaune know each other exist.
Justin Robinson
Its not gaining popularity at all.
But as for reasons: both are big on family, Jaune is stable compared to Yangs other romantic options, and it has the appeal of “former teen rebel settles down with that dweeb” that happens in various romcom movies. Usually with the protagonists parents
Parker Lee
>both are big on family,
Yang literally doesn't give a shit about Ruby anymore, and Raven doesn't count as family. She and Raven are related, but they aren't family.
Logan Morales
Just you wait, JauneXDew is endgame
Robert Hill
>implying Ruby isnt a retard >implying those two retards wouldnt be adorable together
Robert Edwards
This was all before V5 and yang got more retarded
Nathan Parker
Eh. Jaune is stable enough to probably not trigger Yang's psychosis about loyalty and abandonment but exciting enough to not bore her.
Don't really know what she offers Jaune beyond tits though.
Andrew Taylor
I get it, kinda, but the Lancasterfags is no reason to hate the ship itself, holy shit.
Personally, I'm ambivalent about it, and think it works best as a platonic sort of thing, but honestly, there's really no one to pair Jaune with that WORKS from a narrative-related standpoint... outside of Weiss, maybe.
And even then that'd only work if she realizes that for all of his dumbassery, he never pursued her for the reasons other boys back in Atlas did... or something. He IS the same guy who didn't recognize Pyrrha until Weiss explicitly pointed out she was the chick whose face was on the Pumpkin Pete cereal boxes, after all. Even then, there's the fact that he's STILL grieving. Probably will be for a while.
Of course then you'd have to deal with the one thing worse than Lancasterfags... White Rose fags. Also, maybe the odd crazy Monochrome fan or two.
Hunter Sanchez
>Sun Wucuck Not going to happen.
Xavier Richardson
I doubt people are "giving up" on Arkos, there are just people who are reacting to Lancasters.
I think most Arkos shippers are just waiting. When the ship rises, they shall return.
If it does not, they shall remain in their crack ships.
Gabriel Bell
It was never a meme. Jaunefags just can't contain themselves.
David Johnson
Sun deserves better
Kayden Powell
Eh, some may be sticking around but it's clear arkos is a shadow of it's former self
Colton Howard
Pls user
Noah Brooks
Oscar is going to lewd the Jaune.
Ryan Gutierrez
Even better.
Ian Russell
Oscar is going to convince Jaune that Ozpin and his minions were in the right
Jaxson Stewart
Canonwise, yes. But for the entire fanon, casual watchers included, Arkos was OTP. If it returns, they will flock back to it.
...That's an if, mind you.
Gabriel Moore
Is he going to convince him while riding D'Arc.
Jaxson Gray
...
Kevin Garcia
>But for the entire fanon, casual watchers included, Arkos was OTP At the very most it was in the top 3, and even then that might be generous. In any case it's clear the ship has lost it's numbers since.
Josiah Hughes
Doesn’t seem like they went anywhere else though. No other ships have gotten noticably bigger
Aaron Foster
>A setting where muscles can be outright meaningless when it comes to physical strength >Yet almost no one has the big guy being dominated by the shota

Some before bed tradition
Easton Diaz
Crow is too strong. We need Raven showoff her strength by putting Yang against the ropes before Crow comes to the rescue.
You're closed-minded user! Closed-minded and afraid of CHANGE!. Anyone is made to take dick if you believe hard enough, anyone except Pyrrha
Jacob Peterson
Possibility of Raven being the one to kill Qrow?
Grayson Stewart
They're polar opposites on the outside but very similar deep inside. And recent events have put both against the wall with strong feelings of loss and impotence. They both excel and lack in areas the other need and they already had a nice simple relationship as a starting point. Jaune knows and supports how awesome Yang is while also being sensible enough to know she's a girl with her own problems. On her part Yang knows Jaune is a good young man with a chance to becoming something better without ignoring his flaws and enthusiasm for improvement.
If not a ship I at least would like some interaction between the two short as may be. They have so much they could share with each other. Yang needs his humbleness and bravery while Jaune needs her pride and confidence.
Juan Lopez
Brutal but fitting, I could see it happening.
John Martin
This ship needs porn.
Andrew Parker
>Yang literally doesn't give a shit about Ruby anymore People believes this.
Nathaniel Taylor
I never wanted to breed with anyone more than I want to with Kali. That perfect, curvy body. Those soft ears. The child bearing hips of a literal goddess. It honestly fucking hurts knowing that I'll never mate with her, pass my genes through her, and have her birth a set of perfect fauna offspring. I'd do fucking ANYTHING for the chance to get Kali Belladonna pregnant. A N Y T H I N G. And the fact that I can't is quite honestly too much to fucking bear. Why would Monty create something so perfect? To fucking tantalize us? Fucking laugh in our faces?! Honestly guys, I just fucking can't anymore. Fuck.
Nolan Ward
>Yang needs his humbleness and bravery while Jaune needs her pride and confidence. >Jaune >Humble or at all unconfident
Wyatt Bell

James Rogers
Hoping that V5 gets it some more attention
Jackson White
Jaune looks down on himself a bit too much and his confidence seems to waver at inappropriate times. It took losing a limb and the perceived betrayal of a close friend to shake Yang and it was only temporary.
On the other side. Jaune is more cautious and analytical and rarely rushes into the fray like Yang does.
Point is that both are at a very key points in their personal arcs. They're faced full front with their flaws and limits and how they come back from it will define their characters for the coming parts of the story and could share and learn from each other.
James Ross
>mfw when jaune ravages dat ass
Isaac Kelly
>a bit too much Jaune has been so far perfectly on point about his power level compared to others and his confidence has never actually dwindled after the first arc.
And Jaune is more cautious and analytical? He might be more cautious but the odds he feels comfortable playing are always idiotic.
Jaune feels the need to gamble at times due to his perceived lacking combat presence compared with pretty much everyone else. Also you can't be too cautious when there's a very threatening situation like facing the Nuckelavee with Crow dying just a few meters away.
Zachary Sanchez
Something for a Dragon-tier Grimm or perhaps something worse, which there probably is.
Yang finds Raven. Raven respects her resolve, even after Yang repeatedly gets up after Raven kicks her into the dirt and telling her to just leave. Raven trains Yang. Spring Maiden has been more like a surrogate daughter to Raven, a fact that makes Yang fucking furious. The two do, however, form an actual bond as "Sisters" of sorts. This is crucial, as when Cinder kills the SM in the second to last episode and assumes she'll get more maiden powers, they end up going to Yang instead. That guy posting the blue haired Yang with the Mexican stuff is also from the future and has been fucking with you guys for days. After becoming Spring Maiden, her not-super saiyan form becomes not-super saiyan blue.
I'm not making this up. It's all 100% true.
Oh and uh...You may want to be about 150 miles away from San Francisco on Thanksgiving. Baby Kim read one Trump tweet too many and...It wasn't pretty.
Anthony Parker
...
Jaxson Gonzalez
>spring >blue
Luis Peterson
I assume because yangs hair burns yellow to burn hotter it would turn blue.
Logan Wright
Blue + Yellow = Green. In this case, symbolically.
Eli Cooper
that's reaching pretty far.
Bentley Cruz
>Yang gets anime character development at the end of the volume >cuts her hair shorter in memory of Spring
Owen Thomas
>Next RTX >The guy who threw Barbara the Yang arm runs up to the podiums again. >Throws a giant clump of blond hair at the stage.
Adrian Brooks
>Yang >ever cutting her hair
Putting aside the fact that this is a tired as fuck cliche, there ain't no way in hell they'll just have Yang chop off all that hair; she's still real fucking cagey about anyone touching her hair; that shit's her pride and joy.
That, and the animators will find a way to keep using the same Maya models for as long as possible in an effort to cut as many corners as they can.
