Triton

what the fuck is this characters purpose? He adds nothing to the Royal family. At least Gorgon is a protector, this guy...swims

We've all got a Triton in the family. He's not successful or interesting and you'd rather hang out with the dog than him, but he's always there when you need another person for a game of Trivial Pursuit at Christmas (even though he's shit at it).

Pretty much this.

Just like crystal triton had little presence in royal family story lines because thing there thing was leaving attilan. Crystal joined the f4 and later the avengers, triton teamed namore a bunch of times and lived in Atlantis. Triton won't be doing shit until namor starts doing shit again.

Hi, Scott Buck. Didn't know what to do with him so just killed him off, huh?

Be fair. Nobody knows what to do with Triton. Scott Buck of all people certainly wasn't going to figure it out.

Gorgon is a Royal Protector. Karnak is Royal Advisor. Triton is a Royal assassin.

Assassin against who? Fish?

Most lately? Stark Tower, which he 9/11d. And it's just a suggestion on what to do with him.

Triton serves as a warning as to how badly wrong Terrigenesis can go, he's why Karnak was never exposed to the Terrigen.

Triton can't survive out of water unaided, so he works as an outcast even amongst other outcasts. He's the weird loner with a unique perspective on things.

Also, he's one of the more visually interesting Inhumans, plus he and Namor used to be best bros.

The point of Triton is to display the shortcomings of terrigen bathing to the reader. He's not meant to be useful, he's meant to be a sickly liability.

>tfw you don't have a Triton in your family
>tfw you have the realization you ARE the Triton

wouldn't he be in a shitty cast then? Instead of hanging out with the royal family?

He's still one of the Inhuman royal family, so he's always around somewhere, they can't just get rid of him any more than you could just get rid of a family member who's weird, ugly, and only occasionally useful.

Always thought he should be Namor's sidekick or something.

More annoying fishboy from another royal family and they can be royal fish buds together.

I would have thought the giant door or engine that used to be people would be the warning.

Some of those other random inhumans only get to be freaks, with no powers at all. They are just grub people or someone with horns protruding from every orifice of their body.

>Always thought he should be Namor's sidekick or something.
That's basically what he was while he was living in Atlantis.

Triton is supposedly getting picked up for the Secret Warriors book (which is another inhumans book).

And Triton is kind of the fish guy, but he's stealthy as fuck so he's like a ninja.

Wait, I thought Inhumans were "normal" until exposed to Terrigen mist... Do some have powers without the Terrigen?

Sorry, never really read much into them...

Karnak does, but he's an exception.

>I would have thought the giant door or engine that used to be people would be the warning.

Those characters are relatively modern, user. Triton's been around since the mid-1960s.

Karnak has powers without Terrigen.
His ability to see the flaw in everything was done through training alone.

>Triton is supposedly getting picked up for the Secret Warriors
Like, after the Mr. Sinister arc? Because I highly doubt that the Mr. Sinister arc isn't the last arc.
