I liked seeing her be smart about glyph usage.
The summoning is one thing, but it was neat that she knew to use the black glyph like a seatbelt, and using it later to slow the plane down from from guaranteed fatal impact speed
Weiss is super strong, waves of force, magic homing missiles and fireballs that look weak but are somehow strong enough to cause a a large landslide.
And her semblance is really really hax, teleporting knight that can use her glyphs , good enough control over her white and black glyphs to resemble telekinesis and her glyphs are good enough to create those massive gravity glyphs that were slowing the airship down. And the Knight is really fucking strong too, able to bring down the Queen lancer that tanked that massive dust explosion without a scratch. In fact, the knight seemed to be even stronger then the original knight she fought in her trailer. Which is a good question, can the summons ever be stronger then the original template if the summoner is really really good?
She seems to be the strongest member of RWBY right now. And she is only going to get stronger as she improves on her control of dust, and her summons. Right now she can only summon the knight, but can you imagine an army of summons, the Queen lancer now being one of them?

Starts off kind of meh, but nurture her enough and she becomes an unstoppable Red Mage Summoner of death that can solo everything.

Air combat? A flying mount. And when she improves, like Winter, she should be able to summon more then one creature. The knight riding the Queen lancer is bullshit.
How does gravity dust make her so much more powerful? Doesn't make sense.
Looks like less teleporting and more summoning the knight at a different location after de-summoning it.

This is Pyrrha.
She will return at the end of this volume as a corrupted Grimm puppet. The first in a long line of hybrids created by Salem using Grimm and the souls of deceased hunters that Cinder has been collecting the souls of for several months, using that little bug Grimm in her hand. Pyrrha will be the first, and she'll use the orb of life to do it. She specifically chooses Pyrrha to torment Ruby.
She will become the main villain in volume 8, near the end, after Salem is killed.

1 minute into the 1st episode I realized what's wrong with anime and why I watch RWBY instead. Disgusting japanese voice acting. Especially female one. Seriously, RWBY voice acting is the last gift granted to this world by a God of Life himself.
Yuna was good right from the bat in FFX though, early on shit doesn't resist Delay so Valefor is OP, and by the time that becomes standard you should have gotten a Sphere to grab some of Lulus shit to make hew the best Magic attacker. then she gets kidnapped and is unusable for a good chunk and then Jojombers comes along.
Rikku was EVEN BETTER though because GOTTA GO FAST, Mix and Steal oneshotting Machina, does that mean and if Weiss is the Yuna, who is the Rikku?
