ITT: cringiest lines you ever heard

>There was a time above... a time before... there were perfect things... diamond absolutes. But things fall... things on earth. And what falls... is fallen.

>Well I'm sorry to hear that cos now I'll snatch every motherfucker birthday

>HE'S A FRIEND FROM WORK XDDD

Am I... evil?

> He said yes

I literally walked out of the theatre

I didn't finish the episode, Rick and Morty is no longer good.

*Half-closes eyes to signal higher moral and intellectual ground*
You're just not smart enough kid

Pretty much any dialogue from Steven Universe.

As a fag who loves the show, I can agree its really fucking cringy but in a good way.

these

Dumb wojakposter.

>You're not evil... you're smart

Well that was literally the end of the film

>Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.
I literally, LITERALLY got up from my seat and proceeded to walk out of the theatre after that.

>if we cannot protect the earth, you can be damned sure we'll avenge it

People took this so seriously, and I'm just sitting over here like 'you got paid to write that?'

Basically any line describing the Joker in the last 2 or 3 decades

>Do you know what happens to a toad when it gets struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else.

17 years later and I still remember how confused everyone was by that line.

>save.....martha

Not a line, but I literally walked out literally after the title in literally every Nolan Batman film

>He's my friend

It's an... unique line. You can't deny that

Christ that shit hurts to read

...

It's a rare case where it's equally bad whether you've heard the joke before or not

you bought a ticket just to walk out three times?

I forgave this scene a little in the next episode when he tries pulling the same thing to shut her up

Literally

dedication to the bit, i guess.

it was so unsatisfying it caught me off guard, it make it seem like she had a one-liner prepped and suddenly draw a blank
in the same sense of calling a kid "special" IMO

>Super sanity
>SUPER SANITY
>S U P E R S A N I T Y

What the fuck kinda shit were they smoking?

stranger things have happened.

>He doesnt get it

I used to go to the movies just to repeatedly sit down to watch movies I didn't like and then walk out of them. The dumbass manager kicked me out for "theatre jumping" or some such made up bullshit, obviously they just couldn't handle how much I was wrecking them by walking out on all their movies

That's nothing, I buy tickets to movies with cringey lines in them just so I can literally walk out of the building before I even watch them.

oh you mean the title appears at the end.

forgot about that.

It's funny because he literally posted a "dumb wojak"!

>I've killed things from other worlds before

I was going to do this, but the second time this guy in a shitty cosplay showed up and long story short I wound up not walking out

This is the worst line in film history

>From my point of view the Jedi are evil!

Are you a ghost
Are you haunting Sup Forums

Dude half the posters on this board are ghosts killed in Sup Forums related incidents, why do you think we hate comics and cartoons so much

Oh, I figured he just meant that he walked out after the movie had finished, since he didn't specify that he walked out immediately after seeing the title.

You're not the only one user. The entire room left when I went to go see it.

Couldn't move after he fucked you so hard?

*realizes he's a ghost himself and died of a nasty cut sustained from a Mark Millar comic-book*

This. I myself cannot stop pickleposting after my brain grew out of my skull from watching Richard and Mortimer, blowing up my head and killing me instantly. Why did the show have to be so smart. Why, I ask you.

IT'S OVER ANAKIN

I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND

Why are people bothered by this quote?

Because it's more pandering to the teenage redditor who think he's special because he's bored in high school

How so?

Because it gives special value to their perceived intelligence

Not Sup Forums but I had two friends who walked out of Casino Royale when Bond confessed his love for whatshername who died two minutes later. They thought Bond should only be a womanizer and never actually love anybody, not getting that it was an origin story.

I knew a guy who never walked out of the first one.

they never seen OHMSS?

I think you may be projecting a bit too hard buddy.
It's just a cartoon.

Ah fuck I fucked that bit up. It was the second film.
Did it better anyway

Good one

Pretty much the whole visual novel that Sup Forums made about disabled girls. People seem to praise it but I honestly can't see why, no one on the game talk or act like a fucking human. I don't mean doing things for the sake of plot either. Biggest example is you are given a choice to calm a girl down or be an ass and let her fuck off. Sadly Sup Forums idea of calming a sad girl is to shove their dick right into her when ingame you already have a girlfriend at that point. There is no middle ground. That is just an easy example though, only like one girl acted human somewhat and even then she have a retard moment. Only way to play the game is to assume all of the girls and the protag are also mentally retarded because that is how they are written.

This is not an edit.
This is a published DC comic

no WAY

So is this

I should hate it, but the idea makes me chuckle.

well i think there are more subtle way to say you have to go to the toilet

oh I thought he was talking like a nigga nevermind

Because what is being validated as intelligence isn't actual intelligence, its just a popular memetic that people repeat to make themselves feel better about how really stupid they are. These are the same people who follow cults of personalities and say "Hurr but Professor So and So from Whatsinbourough University said this and there is agreement by other people who listen to Professor So and So, so it must be true, and I am smart for believing in it." It's the same kind of people who listen to public radio because they think its some untapped source of intelligence that only they can understand. Rick is an extremely intelligent character, but not in the way that he is being translated to the public audience. The whole "Nothing matters, there are infinite universes" isn't Nihilism, it's Absolutionalism; giving into either Nihilism or Absolutionalism isn't smart, its giving up. Intelligence doesn't come from giving up and repeating what someone else said to you, or saying what's popular. Intelligence comes from willingly fighting back against Absolution, doing things that people say "You can't" or "You shouldn't." and knowing that no one is going to pat your ass, and if they do, they are only doing so to make themselves feel better.

The whole "Am I evil...No worse, you're smart." Is somewhat true, because you are constantly fighting against Society and its limitations in pursuit of something greater; but its stupid in its delivery because modern Society worships Intelligence, unintelligently, and unintelligent people are more than willing to place themselves on high pedastels whilst saying "I'm intelligent, the glowing box and people who agree with my viewpoints say so!"

the rifle is fucking tiny

He's a big guy

...

Aka, The Social Problem of the Ignorant and Smug liberal.

U U U U

Supposedly in an early version Toad was going to spout toad facts while kicking the other's asses and the line was meant to be delivered with her asking with genuine curiosity and then just sort of unenthusiastically noting that it's nothing unique.
They ended up cutting the whole set up to the joke and had her deliver the punchline alone as a one-liner.

I don't get what's wrong with this line, it seems perfectly fine to me

Me either.
I never got the rage about it.
It's just a boast about the power of lightning

It's like
>What happens when an alien gets punched by Mike Tyson?
>It gets knocked the fuck out

Jesus this isn't even pasta is it?

nice one

Before Watchmen is the ultimate pleb filter, only the most patrician comic book readers can see the self-referential satire of the whole affair and how it's embraces its absurdity

a combination of both these anons

How empty of a person are you that you find this cringey?

>Not home creating and cooking your own pasta.

user, when will you learn to become a master chef of the Internet Kitchen?

Yeah, I thought it was kind of funny when I saw it but everyone hates it for some reason

also to further add:
>What happens when an alien gets punched by Mike Tyson?
>It gets punched
FTFY

This is a good line, why the hate?

What happens to a toad...
*It croaks*

it's a dad joke that the director expected everyone to already know, so the change was ironic. except they didn't and it just sounded dumb

>Hating on BRB
Nigga did you read the OP?

GONNA GET A LITTLE WEIRD
GONNA GET A LITTLE WILD

Same here.

It's a bad line but it's not as memetically bad as people made it out to be

That'd be a LOT worse

I agree with most of this. Rick definitely isn't the nihilistic character, but I don't think he's absolutist either. All the philosophy I see tied to the show seems to come from autistic fans looking to embellish their love of a cartoon and detractors looking for ammo against them.
The true cancer is as you pointed out, the concept of intelligence in society. No one wants to think they're stupid and it's one of the most typical human insecurities. The easiest way to quell your doubts about it is to look for examples of opinions/interests/etc you already hold and decide that your appreciation of it stems from your superior intelligence. It's easy with Rick & Morty because of the "science" themes but definitely not exclusive to it.

Bait or missing the point, but yeah...
If they don't change that shit for season 2 i'm going to be a cuck and watch it anyway.

Not even the worst in the series
>No. It was Snoke. He seduced out son to the dark side.

>Snoke

For fuck's sake. What kind of retarded name is Snoke?

One that can be said in Chinese

I hate sand its hard, its course, and it gets everywhere

>I'll kill you to death

That actually makes sense in japspeak

I want this meme dead

Everytime Steven Universe opens his mouth

>You came back to die with your city!
>No... I came back to stop you

Yikes that was bad. It should have been:

>You came back to die with your city!
>If that's what it takes

then punches ensue

Intelligence is a special attribute.
