This is A Bug's Life. Say nice things about it

I just watched this movie for the first time in over 18 years and was shocked at how much I enjoyed it. Why is it so underrated?

Not princess themed, no furries, no song segments

I like how it's basically Seven Samurai.

God tier villain moment.

Antz was better.

It's a bad movie. Stupid unlikable characters, shitty unoriginal plot and ugly setting which pretty much went against everything Toy Story had established. But at least it's not obnoxious like Cars 2.

Sort of how a filet mignon will, after processing, become a turd.

I popped a bone watching Flik get beaten within an inch of his life.

hopper made this film

Joking or not I love seeing my protags get fucked up.

But the characters r ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pretty sure it was pixar

Awesome movie - love the tangible weight of the characters/environment

The spider was cute

The spider was cutekable characters/environments

it has a nice blooper reel, which I wish more pixar movies after monsters inc would do.

Hopper is the one saving grace of the movie. It's rare to see a villain so composed and consciously in control of their surroundings.

Nearly all of those describe all of Pixar's movies. That doesn't answer his question.

It was ok. I had a crush on the ant princess (the adult one, not the tiny one. I thought the little one was annoying) and now I'm sad there's barely any porn of her, the spider lady or the butterfly. If I could draw better I'd do it myself, but I can't.

My favorite Pixar film, actually. The characters and setting were fun. Hopper was a fantastic villain. I really liked the plotline, too. Interesting of Pixar to get a little violent while still being Pixar. That fucking beatdown holy shit.

My niggas.

Bugs aren't furries?

It has good fanart.

This movie's graphics aged horribly and now looks like a modern knockoff film.

His death was brutal

I had a crush on Flik when I was a kid.

that doesnt mean it isnt still good

Watching this clip again, it's somewhat nice to see how the animation has aged well, despite Pixar's advances in technology.

I wonder if they might ever consider going back to their old films and re-rendering them with modern animation tech. If they do, I hope they wouldn't forget about the original cuts.

This was probably one of the best movie tie-in video games to ever come out. Maybe it's just nostalgia talking, but it was at least one of the better PS1 games I played as a kid.
