In a video released yesterday, Philip DeFranco was asked by many of his fans why he wasn’t being featured in the 2016 YouTube Rewind, an annual commemoration about trending topics throughout the year.
According to Philip, he was likely excluded because, back in October, he rejected an offer to endorse Hillary in exchange for money (starts at 9:14 mark): youtu.be/Y2k9wEZJDIU According to Ad Age, the company behind the “Rewind” series is called Portal A Interactive. On their very own Facebook page, they openly flaunt their collaboration with Hillary and top YouTubers in an effort to reach millennial voters: facebook,com/portala/ Back in October, YouTuber Casey Neistat stirred up controversy with the release of a video titled ‘Who I’m Voting For,’ in which he urges his 5 million+ subscribers to vote for Hillary.
