Group A: Plays occasionally. Uses games as a social tool or method to relax and de-stress. Uses games similar to one would watch a football game, play an instrument or garden.

Group B: Uses games to disconnect from their reality. These are the types that would spend their waking hours in VR if they could. Many of these people are irresponsible, immature or just can't handle the hand they have been dealt in life.

No right or wrong way to go about it, just choices and possible reasons. There are more than just 2 reasons, just the most popular listed here.

Nothing really. No real good Sub or Ship games out there. Last thing I played was Silent Hunter 5 with a TONNE of mods but it was fucking amazing. Never actually felt I really learnt something from playing a game before. But learning how to manually dial in a torpedo solution and have it hit its target was very interesting to learn. Also all the manual navigation.
