The Power Plant had won it,
With Roger Clemens clucking all the while,
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness made us smile,
While Wade Boggs lay unconscious on the bar-room tile.

We're talkin' softball,
From Maine to San Diego,
Talkin' softball,
Mattingly and Canseco,
Ken Griffey's grotesquely swollen jaw,
Steve Sax and his run-in with the law,
We're talkin' Homer,
Ozzie and the Straw.

Itchy and Scratchy and Marge has always been a personal favorite
Not sure if you're baiting or not, but I was literally in the same boat when 12 y/o me started watching around 2009. Outside a few old episodes, nu-shit was almost all I watched of the show. Its not too late, user, it wasn't until I bought a few DVDs and downloaded S1-11 that I was able to watch and enjoy the golden age
