Sunday Superman Thread

Sup peeps, post your best.

Any storytime requests?

where's the pic from?

Is it any good? Looks kinda cool.

It's pretty decent, though usually not at all Superman-centric.

Dammit. Was hoping for some supes stuff.

Sorry, it's actually a very detached batbook so Superman doesn't have a whole lot to do with it aside from one of the main characters possibly being built by Brainiac.

For the Man Who Has Everything.

why is superman doing the nazi salute

Are there any recommendation images or lists for pre-Crisis Superman? I've been going back and reading Flash vol 1 lately and it's pretty fun for the most part. Want to do Superman next, but the handful of Silver Age Superman I've read before was hard for me to get through. All I can find are rec images for post-Crisis stuff.

Superman: Strength after that.

Why are you reaching so hard

I do this one a lot.

Hard to pick out specific favs, but here are some key issues:

Action Comics #252 "The Supergirl From Krypton"
Superman #125 "Superman's New Power"
Superman #156 "The Last Days of Superman"
Superman #162 "Superman Red and Superman Blue"
Superman #166 "The Sons of Superman"
Superman #149 "The Death of Superman
Superman #199 "Superman's Race With the Flash"

I also recommend reading Silver Age Superboy and Legion of Super-Heroes, which I'm a huge fan of.

one of my favs, thanks user.

Thanks, fellow Texan user.

Didn't Moore once say that the JL episode adapting this was his favorite adaptation of any of his work?

Granted, I guess there isn't much great competition.
