Occasionally characters are introduced that seem vaguely interesting.
Should I waste my time with this character or is it going to be disappointing again.

Aside from a smattering of issues of Hickman's Avengers, Pod has only really shown up in Ewings New Avengers and US Avengers. When he's done writing books, you can expect her to get shelved for a long time, so maybe better not to get too invested.

She was great as POD. Significantly less interesting since she became Enigma. I love Ewing but he has made two decisions in his time at Marvel that I fucking hate. He killed POD and he hooked Medusa up with Gorgon. Fuck that shit.

No, he didn't. Hickman established that her parents were Finnish in the very page that says she's from Norway.
The thing is Elwing accidentally created the perfect Riri Williams, in where she struggles, she's likable, she's even more proactive if you ask all 30 of us who read US Avengers.
