What's the issue?

Later he confesses to liking Crimes and Misdemeanors tho?

Doesn't seem all that out of character for Batman, I doubt seeing his parents get killed outside of the theater inspired a strong love for film.

Everyone else is acting like a retard. Batman is being the only sane person.

>no fun allowed

He's lying to make himself seem serious. His favorite is Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Batman hates that a sick fuck like Woody Allen is allowed to roam free
But he doesn't want to open that can of worms when he's surrounded by fans, so he goes full " I AM THE NIGHT I HAVE NO TIME FOR MOVIES"

Yep.

People actually like Woody Allen?

>Superhero's liking the movies of an incestuous pedophile.

Well, it is James "Airboy fucks a tranny by accident" Robinson after all.

supposedly incredibly influential but I've never seen the appeal. I like Annie Hall and Match Point, but that's about it.
>teenage girl falls in love with a middle-aged man
>bonus points if it's set in Europe

>liking the movies of an incestuous pedophile.
And?

talk about dating yourself

They're, as Batman said, literally inside a supervillain's subconscious. It makes for weird non sequiturs.

>no Annie Hall
Buncha faggots.

How about What's Up Tiger Lily?

>I haven't read Starman.

never seen it, but judging by the synopsis, I might have to.

>"I like musicals"

Was Alan Scott always gay?

No, but he was always styling, especially on shit taste cretins like you.

>batman doesnt like woody allen
patrician/10, allen is a talentless hack

Nobody claims that Robinson writes great dialogue; it's everything else about Starman that makes it a classic. Although personally I think this is a terrific Batman page.

A comic series (or "graphic novel") without good dialogue can't be considered "classic" or even worthwhile.

OK, Bendis.

>A comic series (or "graphic novel") without good dialogue can't be considered "classic" or even worthwhile.
Not him but that's extremely subjective and by your metric A Contract with God wouldn't qualify.

Bendis is a prime example of how bad dialogue can ruin a comic.

Most classic American comics have awful dialogue. Look at most of Marvel's greatest hits.

>Marvel

way to prove his point

Doesn't he love sherlock holmes books?
And in some continuities he was inspired to become Batman by consuming media starring Sherlock Holmes, The Shadow, or the Gray Ghost

>annie hall
>great
shit taste
Love and Death is where it's at.

So the Fantasic Four and the Amazing Spider-Man aren't classics?
