Well, I’ve replaced the chairs and rearranged the tables, put a fresh coat of paint on the wall, turned your Italian bistro into a soulless, overpriced, square-plate gastropub, bullied a few line cooks to leave, and brought in a personal friend as head chef who will leave in two weeks. Hopefully all this will stem the hemorrhaging and keep this place on life support for another six months or so. My work here is done.

Restraunts are fucking hard work man. Doing everything right will push you into bankruptcy fast if you can't get peoples attention, and once someone has a bad meal at a place they'll probably never go back.

this is what he does in the american version, as the restaurant really will never work because there are mutt issues in there too deep to rectify.
it makes good television, but in the normal version he speaks to the chef and they listen because they know Gordon knows what he is talking about

>there are mutt issues in there too deep to rectify.

What does this even mean?

the most popular and highest ranked restaurant located in spain did this and finally closed up cause they never made a profit and were only open for like a few months a year. they spent the other 9 months coming up with new dishes and gastrobullshit concoctions

Nah brah there are plenty of butthurt egomaniacs on the UK version too albeit without all of the dramatic flair.

>sob story
>father micromanaging unbearably in family business
>"who is this geoff ramsay?"

I seen both versions, Gordon says about the same things, but the way the cut through the scenes, the bleeping, the dramatic music and the voice of the announcer are just that much dramatic

you mean before or after he shutdown his various restaurant chains in europe because they were about to lose a star?

his "star" total is bullshit anyways as countless micheline documentries have show, you literally earn them just on reputation alone

1 star for anything ramsay is a given, 2 if its a place he really cares about and not just another tourist location like in vegas where most ppl are drunk gamblers and cant tell the difference

He should spend a little more time teaching the owners how to run a business instead of putting so much effort into the making the place look "rustic"

>everyone should know who le angry cook is

this, the fox versions add all the bullshit but teh company who edits the show is based in UK and does all his shows

in fact channel4.com has the "UK broadcast" version and none of the sound fx's are in there and its uncensored, they're much more comfy

theres a streaming service for the company who owns the rights to ALL of ramsays' shows in the UK but their signup process is weird, and the comments are ppl saying they never hear back cause its some type of application process, you cant just pay to subscribe

hes not a business man, the food is the number 1 issue a lot of times and gordon offers that support

he looks at it from a chef point of view and aesthetics, he can offer them ways to cut costs but he cant manage their books and finances

He does, especially inventory and staff management. You just don’t see 90% of it because Business 101 isn’t compelling television.

>hes not a business man,

This. Gordon Ramsay doesn't know anything about running a business.

>chef can't cook for shit
>clean kitchen and paint wall
>chef is now a great cook

he knows how to run a restaurant to a point how to bring in customers so its busy and making money

>hes not a business man,

He does,

Which one?

It does show that a lot of restaurants, bars or cafes fail because the owner is in love with the idea of being the owner rather than the hard work of actually running the business.

>refits the kitchen with new fridges, fryers, a new freezer and a hob burner
>completely redecorates
>breaks their old bad habits, and creates an amazing positive atmosphere among the employees which rubs off on the customers
>Restaurant only lasts 3 months after Ramsay leaves
>Wife is now the main breadwinner, husband imports and sells Japanese cosmetics, while the daughter goes back to sucking producer cock for shit acting jobs

Can’t name specific episodes but he’s always barking at managers that order too much product or serve portions that are too large. If staff tardiness / insubordination is an issue he’ll usually sort that out too. There was at least one episode where he gave the place a digital order / POS system.

yes but again there are tons of owners who sometimes wont fire a chef or a specific person because of personal feelings and so all he can do is observe and mention his findings from his decades operating in a kitchen

>boils broccoli with salt and pepper
>puts it in a food processor
Fresh, Rustic Broccoli Soup!

>POS

i remember that, they were writing out receipts prior

i couldnt help but laugh thinking now they're just gonna be completely confused by this "NEW FANGLED CONTRAPTION" and still have issues once he leaves.

wat a dummy lol

>Ollivol, in

>food processor

you're thinking of his mentor's 3 star michelin potatoes

This guy raised a living, breathing, piece of shit.

And then he cried about it when one of the Masterchef Australia judges called out the kid on his shitty behaviour. lmao

So that is who taught him to be a t.v. persona instead of a real chef

>city restaurants running at a loss
>adopt a gimmick to somehow set it apart from the rest
>costs go up, meanwhile customers shop for food at Lidl and pick up a £4 bottle of wine
lol restaurants are for twats who want extra hurdles during something as mundane as dinner

>ctrl f
>nino
>0/0

the best episodes are when he literally just walks around the block and sees 10 other restaurants of the same theme but the owners have no damn idea, so his idea to change the theme is generally a logical choice

>mutt issues
Top kek

Marco was in the right. Fuck your feelings and do your job. Gypsies are scum anyway.
