What is the secret of the Grail? Who does it serve?

>The cast

Arthur is fucking terrible desu. All the amazing actors of the day they could have had and they went with that donkey.

Gabriel Byrne should've been cast as Arthur, but he was so good as Uther and I honestly think Nigel was great as Arthur regardless. It's supposed to be about a lowly squire stepping up and learning how to be a true king

Seen it the other day. It's fantasy kino alright.

He did an amazing transformation from young page boy to knight to old king

Way too much lighting. Looks like shit.

yeah, I agree with you completely, love the film but Terry (forgot his last name was not a good Arthur

This fucking ending.

this. saying nigel did a poor job as arthur is like saying hamill did a poor job as luke in episode 4

Came in here to post this. Watched this movie on a whim a few weeks ago and was impressed.

yes its pure kino

GUARDS!! KNIGHTS!! SQUIRES!! PREPARE FOR DUBS

>Way too much lighting. Looks like shit.

The cast were all stage actors. Stage acting is waaaay different than film which is why the film seems like a play being filmed outside. Taking that into account, its kino in its own regard

The theatrical aspect of the performances only enhances the legend being laid out for us. Boorman didn't pick a bunch of Shakespearean theatre actors on accident.

Let the boy try!

>oakeshott type XVIIId swords

haha, no

I like the look. They used green floodlights so to give the armor a "mythical" type glow
