How can one Modern Cartoon use so many memes/internet humour/references and not have it come off as forced. How the fuck do they do it?

They pick slow burning, timeless memes rather than the newest meme as of writing, or something 10 years old and unused since then.

>Good Boy Points

Because it make sense that a 12 year old kid would spout memes and abuse the internet like his pecker

I don't know if OP is being sarcastic, but in the vein of the show and its hit and miss humor I will assume he is.

>gumball
>not forced
haven't let out a good hearty kek like this in a long time

Being funny

because they understand the context behind the memes/references and puts them in an appropriate situation, rather than just copy and paste the joke in the show for a cheap laugh.

>not have it come off as forced

WHEW! That's hilarious....

...

>and not have it come off as forced

>not have it come off as forced

>gumball
>thinking its not forcing memes

>and NOT have it come off as forced.
What did he mean by this?

Is the punchline here that those "best of Sup Forums" compilations with dozens of reaction images and greentexts of OP being foolish are so unfunny and forced?

screencap me

...

That's a little forced.

I thought it was funny when I saw it. I thought is was using the "meme aesthetic" but I had no idea it was an actual meme.

they're kids doing dumb kids things in a modern world. I think it's hit or miss, still

>tumblrinas are still butthurt about "The SJW"

It's forced but funny

why are you on tumblr

Any screencaps?

When is Sup Forums not on Tumblr?

That and the reference is mostly thrown in so fast, and still conveys enough of a joke on its own that the meme itself becomes slightly less impactful.

Why does your Haman gif only stop at the smile?

>"Gumball is funn-"

Because they don't use memes from 2009 or use shitty super normie-ish imgur-tier memes that aren't remotely funny like Grumpy Cat or whatever the fuck else normies like.

Now I understand why Sup Forumstards are butthurt and attacking gumball.

>takashi0

Holy shit lmao fuck that guy

forced would probably mean bubbles going no me gusta.

Personally, I don't like Gumball, it's way too Meta towards common Movie & TV tropes

They did use grumpy cat once

But it does come off as forced. Gumball is as awful as TTG

It wasn't forced until this season. The past 10 episodes or so have been really painful. That Google Maps segment went for like half the episode on Friday.

Because the actual meme makes sense in context on whats happening to the show instead of randomly thrown in. So even if you don't know what the meme is it's still funny because it functions as as a standard "setup/punchline" joke format.

That said I still don't like it because even though it's not cringey it weirdly feels like a form of joke theft. Like they saw a funny joke on the internet and decide to just alter the setup to use said punchline they didn't even come up with.

What exactly happened with him?

Not that user, but from what I remember is that he as a Kiwifarms thread dedicated to all of his autistic rages for cartoons, and that if you tell him that all bronies are terrible people who jack off to horse porn he'll write angry essays in capslock, saying that it's not true and that
>le bronies donate to charities and are really nice people
Also he keeps using Zamii's suicide attempt to prove that SU fandom are irredeemable people, even though Zamii has personally told him to stop.
