I voted on Friday and my mom refuses to speak to me, while my dad is disappointed but respects my opinion. I'm keeping this to myself around my friends and coworkers because I don't want to alienate myself and have my car fucked with.
If I were to guess, black communities are more tight nit than white or asian ones, so if there is a dissenting opinion, that dissenter is ostracized.
