He claims that he doesn't believe it because he sees no motive, not that it definitively didn't happen. Destiny had nothing compelling to rebut that or provide an actual good motive.

Part of the problem with this "debate" is it's obvious that Destiny knows nothing about foreign affairs. He can't debate with him on it. He's just trying to listen to him and pick out the parts he can challenge him on while being clueless about the events happening there.

You have to understand that Destiny isn't taking him at his word and that Ryan is providing these foreign policy situations so that he can frame his position on why he prefers Trump over Clinton.

While most of what he said couldn't be sourced specifically, he also did an incredibly good job of framing his arguments in such a way to question who gains from these conflicts or trade deals. He does cite accurate figures for some current trade deals.

I thought he actually did a really good job substantiating his arguments even if he couldn't provide exact citations. It's very obvious that Destiny was out of his depth on foreign affairs, which is why he focused on the stuff he could actually argue.
