Thing comes out

>thing comes out
>everyone loves it
>one month later
>everyone hates it
Well which is it, you fuckfaces?

It's almost like they have more material to judge the quality of the show in its entirety or something.

Series quality isn't static, user.

>pre-release, loads of people talking about it, hyping it up
>release time, for the next month loads of people are talking about it and hyping it up, people start trashing it out of spite/backlash and get called trolls
>month after release, hype has died down, people have more level-headed discussion overall and get called trolls

Ever since 2008 this has been the way this site handles new releases

just needed time for the dust to settle : )

>thing comes out
>people who like it talk about it, become vocal majority
>people who don't like it ignore it
>two weeks later
>people who like it talk about it too much
>people who don't like it start to speak up
>one month later
>people who don't like it are vocal majority in response to fans
>people who do like it stop posting for fear of backlash

>Ever since 2008
Fucking newfags.

>people who do like it stop posting for fear of backlash
I refuse to believe some posters are such pussies that they fear anonymous backlash

Can't people comprehend that people need time to analyze and critique something. And after something comes out everyone who likes it fucks off because yeah ok, I liked it, enough said. And the only people who remain have negative things to say because that's easier to talk about and people love to hate more than they love to love. There's a saying that goes around that Sup Forums doesn't talk about good things and it makes a lot of sense.

Now when the only people who remain have positive things to say, you're likely about to fall into a pit of generals and autism.

Hindsight is 20/20

That's a fairly obscure album, user.

I suppose what I meant was that people who like it stop posting because their threads get derailed into hate threads.

Yeah, it's like this. It happens with most topics and opinions. They emerge in phases.

it's called "Sup Forums - Comics & Cartoons"

Gotta get back
Back to past
Samurai Jack

You think that's bad? You should see Sup Forums.

Overexposition is a bitch.

>when the only people who remain have positive things to say, you're likely about to fall into a pit of generals and autism
E.g. AoS, Star Wars.

You forgot the final phase:
>thing becomes so old people either start praising it or forget it ever existed, ad infinitum

>Sup Forums
Kirby threads have been sacred on Sup Forums for years. Now there's a loud minority that shitposts in Kirby threads. Allowing Europeans and Aussies to post on Sup Forums was a mistake.

Hipsters

Don't forget that everything is political now.

>now

That's just Sup Forums overflow and Gamergate rs who never left.

>thing comes out
>everyone loves it
>some people love it too much
>people shove it in everyone's face and runs every entertaining thing about it to the ground
>thing begins to wear on your nerves
>thing 2 comes out
>it's full of nods and winks targeted to the worst members of the audience
>thing feels like a parody of what it originally was
>everyone hates it now

Lather, rinse, repeat.
