All this year I'll be storytiming Punisher comics. Most of them will be from the pre-Ennis era, but also a few from the Ennis era. Expect at least 1 storytime per week.
After the "Suicide Run" "event" in The Punisher comics in the early 90s The Punisher War Journal more or less became the "main" book in the line for a while where all the "important" "continuity" shit happened. Eventually Lynn Michaels would temporarily become the lead of that title.
While all this was going on The Punisher himself was keeping a low profile over in the vanilla Punisher title. Chuck Dixon took over the book (him and Steven Grant had switched places between this and War Journal after Suicide Run) and produced some utter retardedly excellent issues that remain among his best on the character ever (which you can read here: and here: ). Then there were a few fill-in issues (which you can also read here: ) before Dixon came back to continue his run.
Today we're reading a long story arc that basically is the beginning of the end of The Punisher's partnership with Microchip. If you ever wondered what all that bullshit was between the two of them at the beginning of Ennis MAX run or what happened to Microchip, well then this is the story you wanna read because this is more or less exactly where, when, and how everything fell apart.
This also more or less wraps up the end of the "aftermath" era of "Suicide Run" that had taken over most of The Punisher books for over a year, where The Punisher was essentially in hiding and assumed dead by the media and nearly everyone else.

I absolutely love this ad. How could you see this and NOT immediately want to read this comic? And the art is fucking spectacular. Does anyone know who drew this?
Jaxon Bell
Microchip. The banter/relationship the two have is hilarious and the gadgets are always cool. Either him orMolly Von Richtofen
Christopher Wright
Shotgun, Iceman, and Lynn Michaels.

I want more Lady Punisher. It's sad how she's been forgotten, and everyone wanks to Cole-Alves.

This is a horizontally oriented page for some reason. It's actually NOT a double page spread.
