>that entire episode

I unironically think this is the Emmy episode guys. Good for you Seth, took eighteen years while Bob's already has two

I don't watch FG anymore, but you've got me curious. What's this? Is it another Brian is an asshole episode?

>he watches Family Guy

What happened now?

Brian sends out a racist tweet as a joke, it goes viral and people overreact and get angry and offended, tries to say it was just a joke, doesn't work, tries to apologize, doesn't work, he gets harassed everywhere (basically "le 2017 amirite" social commentary)

Episode ends with Brian moving out for the safety of the rest of the family and into a crappy apartment, no status quo reset. It's a three-parter.

What was the tweet?

>Gonna see the new Kevin Hart movie. Just kidding I'm white, I went to college #Baywatch
With an image of Ride Along 3 attached.

>rehash of Brian atheist episode
>Family Guy
>Emmy

If Family Guy never earned an Emmy during its heyday, why would it earn an Emmy now?

Wait, what? I thought Brian was dead.

He came back, like, two episodes later.

Brian said he was the most liberal and got kicked out for racism.

>no status quo reset
>it's a three parter
So the status quo is reset after part three.

It was fun to see how this episode was the opposite from tonight simpsons episode

>I'm so far left I'm spinning in circles!

Probably one of the only good lines in the whole ep.

Didn’t watch either one, explain?

Also looking for a link to the episode that works, kimcartoon freezes like 15 seconds in.

>Family Guy getting more red pilled
>South Park taking the blue pill

the fuck is going on?

>took eighteen years while Bob's already has two
How do you think the family guy staff feels about this?

This season, the dedicated an entire episode whining about not winning an Emmy.

How much salt was in that episode?

Yeah just like how Brian was supposed to die right faggot?

Hey man cut ‘em some slack, he never said it wouldn’t cut to square one like all the other fucking times it ever did ever.

Well, IMDb suggests that the film is in development, so get ready for a LOT of people to move into crappy apartments soon.

Reminder that Family Guy has never got an emmy because they don't like that Seth is anti sexually abusing women.

Family Guy is still on a network that's notorious for its fringe-right cable news network. South Park is on a network that got recognition for changing the face of political satire and constantly changes its programming according to the political climate.

"Family Guy made fun of dose ess jay double yous I hate, so now it's suddenly funny!"

>Family Guy is still on a network that's notorious for its fringe-right cable news network.
That doesn't really mean anything when FG mocked republicans for years.

Funny, but Seth was probably referencing this:
nytimes.com/2015/02/15/magazine/how-one-stupid-tweet-ruined-justine-saccos-life.html

Aw, the black porn bit was funny.

Enough to just make fun of everyone and including on making a transgender joke that Peter becomes a woman to get an emmy because that's the most progressive thing. It was pretty much telling that the public wants to feel good about themselves and that they are being told about gender issues and what they want to be and how to be it.

It was something meta bullshit that Seth would do and it sounds more pretentious than his own writings of what Brian sounds like.

What a great episose. If part 2 holds up they should finally get their Emmy. I looked up the Hal's Hotdogs that got the Emmy and they are honestly that good.

*not that good

Wow, this is REALLY bad. Why are you trying to get people to watch this?

Sounds hypocritical after that Seth pat himself on the back for that Quagmire's Dad episode.

>3 parter
So there WILL be a reset

>Went to college
Never actually graduated though.

>Redpill, bluepill

Sounds like a rehash of when he first moved out and lived with Jasper.

Guess what. When millions of ironic dudes are nazis or racists "ironically" for years and chimp out for being criticized but then turn out to be actual nazis and racists, you can't blame people for changing their attitude towards strictly jocular racism.

Who are these millions of Nazis you are referring to?

Take your pills, Dan Harmon.

I have to admit, I've changed my approach to this type of thing pretty dramatically in the past year or so. Things I would have once joked about or made insincere allusions to I now steer clear of for this very reason. It's one thing to act like a nazi online because you regard it as so absurd, so over-the-top ridiculous that nobody could ever possibly take it seriously and you can safely assume that everyone will treat you like the clownish buffoon you were setting out to be. When there's actual nazis marching in the streets, you can no longer presume that sort of reaction on either side. It's just off the table as a subject of comedy for me now.

is this your first time visiting Sup Forums?

Doesn't exactly sound all that amazing. Like, it doesn't sound horrible, but of all the episodes both pre- and post-cancellation, you think this is going to be some Emmy grabber?

Can you explain further?

I strongly disagree.

The episode lampoons a group he hates so he thinks that makes it good.

No status quo reset at the end of the episode. Try to keep up.

Less of an Emmy grabber and more Seth basically calling out SJW and their bullshit as far as them ruining everything.

He already called them out in the Simpsons X-Over episode but now he's going after them in earnest. Would not be shocked if Gamergate and the smear campaign the feminazis engaged in to attack it are is called out by named in the next two parts.

So it has nothing but that?

So it has nothing but that.

It's just another mediocre Family Guy multi-parter.

That episode unironically has the best Sup Forums fight scene I've seen in years.

Was this the episode where Chris and Meg pretty much shot up their school?

that's only due to the fact that western animation is so fucking horrible at fight choreography

And?

It's the exact same story they have had 3 times now.
Peter with the comic strip one was still the best of these.

>I unironically think this is the Emmy episode guys.
>It's a three-parter.
LOL

these 'serious business drama' episodes are seriously the only funny joke they've got left.

I don't get it though, Family Guy has won Emmys and was even nominated for Best Comedy which not even the Simpsons got, so I don't get this season at all.

wheres the mega?

Brian becoming a porn director was funnier.

Road To Rhode Island is the closest they'll ever get to an episode that deserves an Emmy and that was over 17 years ago. Their best years are behind them and dedicating an entire season to trying to win one is just pathetic.

>Peter and the comic strip
>Brian and the tweet
What's the third one?

amazing I'm not sure which user speaks of because the episode lifts from three things they have done several times. I'm guessing user means The Thin White Line, or Boys Do Cry.

>X-Over
what the fuck

it's a dumb way of saying crossover

Actually this is the 6th time the town has been up in arms at the family that made them have to leave to go somewhere else for a bit.

The farm house and Italy were voluntary.

I wasn't counting those, if included we are up to 8, actually counting voluntary we are at least up to 13

Is there any place to watch it? What’s the name of the episode?

you don't know what that means buddy, to you is silly alt right word i dont like.

Isn't this kind of like the atheism episode?

well they are all anti sexual abuse now

this

I thought they never gave family guy emmys because Seth knew all the dirt about hollywood and would constantly joke about it on the show.

There's tons of jokes that didn't make sense then but make complete sense now, like the Bruce Jenner is a woman and Kevin Spacey jokes.

tfw my flat is exactly like Brian's right down to the shitty cooker that explodes and light bulbs constantly going out

Didn't it win an Emmy for the song Brian sings to the old shut-in opera singer?

Is the Kingsman church fight the new Bullet Time?

this has been the only time Ive seen it referenced
whereas bullet time was fucking everywhere

Simpsons kinda had that scene last treehouse.

so, they combined the start of the simpsons crossover episode with the brian is an atheist episode, alright. At least brian is in the right, so far. If they keep this up, good for them.

>status quo doesnt reset because its a three-part episode
>it deserves an Emmy
I think the average FG viewer should be legally considered as a mentally handicapped person

Boy you're dumb

>I want an Emmy waaaaah
>I want an Emmy waaaaah
That’s the show

That episode is maximum comfy.

Killing him off didn't work so now they have him moving out. What's next, sending him to space for a few years?

I think it was the one where the town considered Stewie a demon for vomiting up communion wine.
