Why, I do believe it's time for early Silver Age comics!
But enough about me, how was your day?

My first thread today died, due to me having to deal with shit irl. Nothing major, just time-consuming and nothing I could easily duck out of.

That's enough of Ditko for today...
... Bill Melendez was born 101 years ago today...
... Ed Asner is 88...
... Bob Gunton is 72...
... Beverly D'Angelo is 66...
... Randy Savage would've been 65...
... Bill Lee, who sang in all the great Disney movies of the 50's and 60's, died 37 years ago today...
... and John le Mesurier, who narrated Bod, died thirty-four years ago.
Okay, it looks like I'm done for today. I'll be back tomorrow, knock on wood, to give you some more Silver Age comics, as well as the usual stuff.
Animal protagonist comics need to make a comeback.
As discussed earlier in the thread, my choices of artists and writers (mostly artists, especially right now) is based entirely on the licensed comics I've been storytiming since 2015. Even I've been getting confused by it all, so I knocked up a few spreadsheets to make sense of it all.
In case anybody was wondering, the lists are as follows:
Writer-artists
Writers
Artists
Cover artists
Editors (a slight fudging on my part, but Shooter and Nocenti did some damn good stuff)
Fodder for my Storytimes of DEEP HURTING Saaaaaandstorm!

man this is awesome stuff
