i might storytime the new east of west in another thread if anyone's interested

anyone read injection here?

I find JDH's art a little static for a truly great fight scene but I absolutely adore the layout here, and using small sequential moments and the violent colours does do some work to breaking that static up. They even work in some speedlines and frame them in the rainfall, it is all very samurai movie as you'd expect from Ellis.

What I think might work even better is if they broke the page a bit because that always makes things seem truly violent, but it was a good one. And I love that this is a comic that will give you a 10 page fight scene with actual flow to it.

Wait, who is this guy again? I feel like I'm forgetting something

John Colt.

I completely forgot his character even existed in the old Wildstorm universe. I know he's sorta Spartan but not really

Thanks op

Colt's mind was the basis for Spartan's AI.

Isn't he the mind of Spartan that then got copied to the robot body?

>anyone read injection here?

Injection is fucking awesome! And very underrated by the comics reading public.

How did DC manage to persuade Ellis to stick with some series for 8+ issues without massive delays?

I'm into it. the arc 3 conclusion was weird though. I'm hyped for the next two arcs the most: the spy and the wizard characters

By letting him do it Image-style. Six issues, then a few months of break, then six issues.
Also, being handed an entire universe probably helped

Fucking Ellis...i love this series.

Ellis' whole career up to this point has been not revisiting past books he's already worked on but yeah, they basically let him do it how he wanted and rebuild it from the ground up. Probably the best wildstorm relaunch imo

Thanks for storytiming this

Thx op. This series is very interesting but I am noob to Wildstorm. Are there any other series or spin-off that I should read?

is there any hints of Majestic or Gen13?

These are good pages.

Savant is around so presumably Madge will be around eventually

Cole Cash, the Grifter

One of the best names in comics

Madge might end up being on the other side of the Kherubim this time, I think.

>Paul Kirk movies

So is he a Century Baby or something different?

I think he was a good boy, was going to turn the spaceship around.
