It would be a more plausible theory if Kylo Ren and Rey had a wider difference in age. If it weren't for the fact that Kylo would only be around 15/16 at the time that Rey was left on Jakku, I could see Iden leaving her there to go pursue Del's killer after the events of the Battlefront epilogue. But Kylo was still Ben Solo up until his twenties, so the time doesn't add up.
